Again, without words and you still speak volumes. Not only is your work wonderful, it is inspiring as well as relaxing... Thank you for your inspiring craftsmanship.
Beautiful work. This looks like a fun project. While I love how you did everything with hand tools, I'd hate to imagine what sort of horrible mess I'd make if I tried to avoid power tools.
First time I've seen you on my "Recommended for you" listing. Beautiful craftsmanship, sir. And thank you for having the background music at a non-distracting level. So many channels have it very loud and it is hard to concentrate on and appreciate the work being presented.
Has numerous details in this woodwork book *TopFineWoodworking. Com* . The book also displays several designs and descriptions on the materials used for various woodworking processes and also the guidelines on completing various procedures appropriately. In other words, I`m happy using this book, especially in the process of learning about wood working.?
Perfect video! Great shots, complete story, relaxing music which doesn't blank out the sound of very sharp tools cutting beautiful hardwood. What more is there to wish for?
Thank you for sharing this, lovely looking boxes and love that it showing using hand tools, instead of the usual videos showing using power tools, I am going to have a go at making one of these. I also like the contrasting woods, I have tried Danish oil and I prefer OSMO poly-lux oil finished with beeswax using 0000 wire wool and then buffed up. Great craftsmanship 👍
Thank you! I get pretty decent result with the danish also, 2-3 coats and one with Reinesance wax. These Osmo finishes that you have in NA they are hard to get in EU. Although many shops deliver overseas when it comes to chemicals it's a little bit hard cause they are considered flamable etc and many usual carriers like dhl, ups etc dont ship them
Amazing craftsmanship, unusual tools, and great Elevator Muszak. Im new to this channel and besides the nice colored wood Im very much impressed with the Mini Tools you use Señor Adrian. Looking forward to a shop tour and maybe more Elevator muszak.
*TopFineWoodworking. Com* is a fantastic website about wood working. I took various classes as well as finished a one year diploma in carpentry at a local tech college; this is much better than any book I worked out of during those lessons. It explains everything regarding woodworking as well as complements it with helpful photos.?
It's not a secret: keep it simple. Few succeed and you are one of them. At least in your workshop :) I must try harder, both in life and in the workshop. Thanks for sharing. Sergio .
Adrián excelente trabajo,te quedaron divinas de la muerte, que variedades distintas de maderas, chulisimas y coloridas,un saludo y un like desde Naron(Galicia)
Excellent build video. Beautiful boxes. I'm planning on making some like you did. Do you have a link for these small auger type drill bits you used? Cheers from Ontario Canada
Como siempre admiro tus trabajos ojala algun dia llegue a ese nivel excelente tus herramientas Saludos desde argentina... Pd.Espero ver nuevos trabajos pronto..
Thanks! That was one of its very few uses so far😀 And I also brake it, you can see a chip on a corner, when I used a magnet to grab it from the workbench top crack😀
I didn`t intend to utilize this woodworking website, *TopFineWoodworking. Com* but rather curious about it. I was truly impressed after trying it. I was looking to find out more about the art of woodworking, and was not dissatisfied. I found several topics such as wood types and designing your workshop.
Thanks! I get lumber either from deposits or some friends then size it myself, I have a small planer and bandsaw, and recently I got a table saw too, but if they are too big I go to a local workshop and do it there
The auger bit isn't on your list of tools, either here or on your website. There's a comment below mentioning Lee Valley's "minis" but the shank doesn't match what I've seen there. Would you reply with a link? Excellent video, by the way: relaxing and promotes high-quality work rather than the "good enough" stuff I see nearly everywhere else. Peace.
Thank you! I forgot about that, cause I use it so rarely :) Look for "kuri auger drill/set", until I manage to upadate my list, and it will point you to several stores. What you mean by shank on the mini plane? The blade?
@@AdrianPreda Thank you for the reply. No, the shank of the auger bit didn't match the shank of any bits Lee Valley sells; I thought Le PicBois' comment was referencing the bit rather than the plane.
Just beautiful, and how nice to see hand tools being used..
Your Skill Set is extremely high. The precision you achieve is nothing less than amazing...
Again, without words and you still speak volumes. Not only is your work wonderful, it is inspiring as well as relaxing... Thank you for your inspiring craftsmanship.
Thank you very much!
This is brilliant. Unique idea. Thank you for sharing this.
Beautiful work. This looks like a fun project. While I love how you did everything with hand tools, I'd hate to imagine what sort of horrible mess I'd make if I tried to avoid power tools.

@@AdrianPreda Happy to hear it!
So very cool. Perfectly lovely. A joy and a pleasure to watch.
The ASMR is real. I had whole body sensations as you used the mini chisel on that corner.
I dig it.
The paduk looks amazing.
Thanks! Yes, it's so flashy :)

Awesome technique of taping the pieces together before applying glue. Great craftsmanship, love your videos my friend!👍
Thank you! Yes, it acts also as a clamp and does a real job, almost an invisible line if you manage to square/joint perfectly the edges
Well dang, I didn't know I needed this until now
Wonderful video Adrian. Everything is just right: the content, tempo, music, lighting. Big compliments from the Netherlands. Very inspiring to watch.

Most folks don't put the compound bevel on the locking mechanism, that's a nice touch. 👍

Those small tools, made by you or they are available... precision work...love it

Did I already tell you that yours is my favourite woodworking chanel?!
Thanks Marco! :)
Awesome!
Never saw a drill bit like the one you used for the pegs. Look like auger bits but for a screw driver?
Yes, is a auger bit with standard 1/4" hex. Look for Kuri-kuri drill bit, fine tools germany sells them
absolutely beautiful! I'm not quite getting the reason behind the tiny dowels though
How did you achieve the angled sides on the tapered orange blocks?
What for blade you use in the Veritas plane? 38* / 25* and is the steel A2?
Great videos 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I have a 25 one with +2deg secondary bevel. But in the near future I want to take also the 50 one for weird grain woods. Steel is PM-V11
Thanks Adrian, just ordered one :)
When I was "japanese mini toolboxes", I knew it was you posting a video at last.
when I saw:)
:) Thanks!
As always beautifully made, I loved the small chisel for chamfering 😊
Thanks! That was one of its very few uses so far😀 And I also brake it, you can see a chip on a corner, when I used a magnet to grab it from the workbench top crack😀
This is my favorite youtube video.
Thank you! :)
your work is enjoyable very well.thank u ...what kind of that wood u use & its measures
Where can I find the small router plane to purchase? I did not see it in your tool list. Thank you.
Wow what a great way to to make a box! Where did you find the tiny chisels? I see gifts for family and friends👍👍👍
Thanks! From Veritas, Lee Valley, they make many miniature tools based on their bigger ones

Beautiful work, How did you attached the bottom? butt joint?
Thank you! Just glue, it holds very well
Fascinating :)
Thank you!
Great work. *sub*
Would love to see a video on how to get thin stock for projects such as this
Did I miss how you made and attached the bottom of the box? Please excuse my ignorance.
Tão bonito ❣
Stop exciting me w/ these damn fine cuties. I'm talking about you, cute carrot colored handle box
Deaaa
Beautiful
Thank you!
Did you buy in this dimensión your wood or you make it? Do you hace a video about this?
Made them myself. Here I remember at the jointer and thicknesser, but I have an older video of the same boxes where I did them by hand
Didn't see how you attached the bottom, is it just glue?
Great video missed watching your stuff UA-cam didn't seem to notify me.
Thank you! Yes, yt is weird sometimes
Purchased drawings, is box 1-9/16 tall or 3-9/16? Two different measurements in the plans you sent me??
Disregard, apparently I can’t read detailed drawings! Lol
Where do you get your wood from?
Hi Adrian where do you get the small router planes from?
If from Europe check finetools germany, axminster uk. If Usa or other check your local Veritas tools dealer
What is the size of each piece?
Where did you get the wood from? Did you cut a bigger piece or did you just buy them thin? Great vid :)
Thanks! I get lumber either from deposits or some friends then size it myself, I have a small planer and bandsaw, and recently I got a table saw too, but if they are too big I go to a local workshop and do it there
einfach nur super

@@JoelWetzel Ah no, the bit is other stuff. It is standard 1/4" shank
Hi Adrian, where do you find the materials (in terms of wood) for your projects?
Lumber stores, some from friends. Those exotics I get from stores that sells small pieces of pen and knife blanks
Awesome video, Adrian. How thick was your final dimension?
Thanks Nik! A few over 6mm, 1/4"
Very nice. It been months since your last posting... more please 👍
Thanks! Just one month passed :)) Hopefully until the next one will be less
Super +++++
Were do you get the Wood from?
Lumber store, friends etc :)
👏👏👏
Just discovered your channel - very nice work! Is this box your own design?
Thank you! They are traditional japanese woodworking toolboxes miniaturezed by me🙂
Introducing the world's tiniest router plane and chisel!
