Christie McVie's songs were the most romantic, poignant, soulful and beautiful of all the band's creations. Wounded my heart when I heard that she had passed. Miss you Christie.
I agree, Christine never wanted the spotlight on her, one of the reasons she loved Stevie so much because Stevie was always in the spotlight, but Christine’s songs were very soulful and you could tell that she sang from the heart. She is a legend in her own right. Her passing was very sad indeed and being her best friend, Stevie took it hard.

@@jona1192 agreed but they definitely sound tighter and cleaner here than the 82 show I just watched with Buckingham. Maybe they got off the blow here?
This isn’t the original recording of the show… they will have dubbed it with studio recorded parts to make it sound better… plus there is slick direction with regular changes between multiple camera shots, making it look better than their earlier shows when there were only a few cameras, or just one
Lindsey is one of the best guitarists out there. He is one of a handful that never used a pick. He used his fingers and fingernails and strummed with his middle and ring finger. I think he is amazing but the turmoil between him and Stevie was just too much for her and the band ended up firing him in 2018 because Stevie refused to work with him anymore. I’ve loved Stevie from the first time I heard Fleetwood Mac on the radio when I was a young teenager. The song was Rhiannon and I was mesmerized by her voice. I really do miss the Rumours era Fleetwoood Mac. They clashed a lot behind the scenes but they pulled it together when they needed to.
Peter Green was no slouch-- until the LSD though--- damn... Love LINDSEY BEST !!, and he is so underappreciated as elite but this concert is amazing thx for sharing whoever got this in the beginning
Seven Wonders is a Wonder of a song....a tour de force that tears me up everytime. Stevie is incredible, the guitar work is incredible, and the drums are incredible. Perfection!!!!

I started liking FWM in the 80s. It took me up until recently to appreciate the songs from the 70s back then the 70s in general to me was southern rock yuck! I wanted to be BILLY IDOL. Lol grown up now I love FWM. No matter what decade. Christine has my heart tho. Her songs were there every time a girl dumped me. When I listen to her now I’m not ashamed to say I cry while I sing along. Of all the many many concerts I’ve attended sadly I never saw them perform but listening to this I can close my eyes and imagine being there right up front feeling the magic ❤

man, i think i may have been 10? when this concert played! I remember the 80s and the clothes, the vibe. My parents loved FM, and played it at birthday parties when most people went home...and danced into the night. I only dove into FM earnestly in 2022 and i regret so much not ever seeing them like this. They were older than my parents and we are all still here and its incredible. How musicians seem to live forever sometimes right? Im so thankful for christines voice and candor. im so grateful that *back in the day*, people played real instruments, created and evoked raw feelings from themselves and us their fans. Folks recorded shows with giant albatross cameras, people got ready in auditorium restrooms with the "pink soap" of the 70s and 80s hahaha. They were sometimes more on point-with all the chaos and upheaval within the band and their stuffs-but they still managed to tear it the fuck up onstage. Like, who there thought this would someday be so poignant and so sweetly nostalgic-how they played with the crowd, its just so perfect. They are legends. I wonder if they knew they would be. i wish i could afford to go to boston in a few weeks to see SN. ill be watching though from afar. One grace of these days with all our technology is i can see the concert online lol FM forever!!!
I would have loved it if I was old enough to see them in concert during their Rumours tour. I was only 9 when the album came out. I’ve always loved Fleetwood Mac and always will. They are one the most talented and successful bands from the 70’s and they are still pulling in millions of people to see them on tour.

While I love the “Rumours” lineup, for me, the original group: Peter Green, Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Jeremy Spencer and (a bit later) Danny Kirwan represent the “real” Fleetwood Mac. But I also admire Bob Welch’s contributions to the band. With a 56-year history and a plethora of musical styles having been explored, it’s only natural that everyone will have their own favorites.

Says a lot for Lindsey Buckingham that it always takes two musicians to replace him in Fleetwood Mac.
Lindsey was kicked to the curb in 2018 and since then with the passing of Christine McVie we're exponentially the poorer because the odds of FM ever touring again are slim and none. Thanks a lot Stevie!

Yeah, it makes you wonder how well they would have done without the turmoil. Through that chaos came one of the best, if not The best, albums of all time. Rumours is a masterpiece.
