    From 170mm to 165mm. Common noticeable change para saken ay higher at smoother cadence. mas-upright din ng konti yung body position ko. Yes, kailangan mo siya padyakan ng malakas sa umpisa pero kapag nakapag-gain ka na ng speed, easy spin nalang pero mataas pa din yung cadence nun, smooth nga lang, no grinding. Cons is yung leverage. Unlike sa longer crankarms, kapag napaikot mo na at at nakapag-gain ka na ng speed, kaya mo na i-maintain yung speed na yun at a slightly slower rpm dahil sa leverage.
    Ayun na nga, kailangan mo taasan yung seat height ng konti and then usog mo din paharap ng konti para maging same nung naka 170mm crankarm ka if slightly slanted yung angle ng seatpost mo.
    Sa ahon, nakadepende nalang talaga sa katawan mo at kung akma yung gearing mo sa ruta. May binabagayan talaga yung shorter crankarms at di para sa lahat.

    I feel the difference of 170mm to 165mm. Mas bumilis ang pacing ko sa flat out and tama din sa height ko at 5'5"

    Akin po 150mm goldix crankset gxp parang SRAM concept kaya 150mm yung binili ko kasi mababa yung 165mm sa bike ko tsaka yung ground clearance ng pedal ko mga 2inch nalang tsaka po mas bagay sakin yung 150mm kasi 5 2' yung height ko may napa nood kasi ako sabi nila 5 5' pababa hindi daw bagay 165mm sa mga ganon sinabi noong sikat na bike fitter sa ibang bansa. Nasukat ko na maganda na yung ground clearance hindi na tumatama yung cleats pedal ko sa simento at lupa goods din siya sakin nabibilog ko ng maayos yung pag papadyak ko fit na fit talaga sakin❤

    Anong power meter ang pwede sa GRX cranks sir? Di ko kasi type pedal-based at crank arm based. Mas ok para sa akin ang Spider-based.

    2 yrs akong naka 170mm then shifted 165mm. mas masarap talagang padyakan. both folding and gravel naka 165mm ako

    mas mahaba na crank mas mataas ang torque basic physics…. mas maganda ang short crank sa patag pero pag ahon mas malakas torque ng longer crank

    Just had a 6-month experiment with 165 cranks from 170mm. OK siya sa patag but mas madali fatigue sa ahon. I guess it's not for everyone. Now back to 170mm.

      May tanong lang ako, did you check your cadence difference on different cranks? Di you address the fatigue? did you check you bike fit etc. There many reasons of fatigue shorter arms may give you a higher cadence. Pero again hindi nga para sa lahat. In my case I still have more months to test hehehe. I will let you know about my personal experience. Check mo also recent vlog ni Dylan Johnson about shorter arms.

      @@cyclingchefglenn yes I rechecked my setup more than once. Don't get me wrong, I gained on the flats dropping my mates on several rides but climbs up 6degrees were Ok but where I live in Cebu where greater than 8 degrees is not uncommon, my legs were really burning even after switching to 11-34 cassette. So for me, flats up to 6deg was my limit. Anything steeper was a bit of agony.

    Idol, may recommended height requirement ba ung paggamit ng 165mm crank length?. anu din ung height mo idol?.

      @@argelcruz629 I’m 5’9” dati around the 90s if your my height up to the early 2000s ung arm mo is 172.5 then mga late 2000s naging 170mm na ako. Then ngayon 165mm dipende na siguro sa rider. For me I felt a big diffirence
