I loved Beyond Light. At the time narratively, using actual darkness powers truly did feel like making a deal with the devil. It was so much more powerful than Light subclasses so while the power felt amazing, it felt…wrong. We had no idea what the repercussions would be. It was so damn cool.
I came back to D2 when beyond light had just released and I believe right before all the sunsetting and I Found it to be an enjoyable experience after a long break. Seeing someone go through it gives me nostalgia haha! Good content! Cant wait to see more.
Can't wait for you to use strand in lightfall, grapple and little threading buddies. I really like the new frost armor on stasis, it's getting even more buffs in heresy and might make me actually use this subclass since it's been bit of a meme for few years.
Try and get precision shots with the Jade rabbit, head shots on everything but vex. Chain precision shots to gain bonus damage on your next body shot and return ammo to the mag.
I think when it comes to Lightfall more players have an issue with a specific character more so than the campaign itself. The campaign is pretty decent in and of itself especially from a new player perspective
Naw it’s not just the character the expansion was hyped up for different reasons I’ll stay away from due to spoilers but the story ended up just being a strand tutorial
Yeah, people have strong opinions about Lightfall. Though I will say that, as usual, their set design was on point. The levels are gorgeous. I still think that they missed an oppotunity to call Strand Titan Threadripper to keep it in line with the other Strand subclasses.
This is my favorite campaign by far, always glad to see new players experiencing it! First time on your channel so I don’t know if you’ve made it there yet, but keep an eye out for the Lament quest. Always a highlight personally.
Ah, stasis, what a shit show it was when it was introduced from absolutely broken in pvp to nerfed so hard almost nobody used it in pvp, and in pve it got power crept the second they gave the old subclasses fragments and aspects, i wonder how it's doing now been i while since i played d2

Hi DP, we've all wrecked at that same jump. Glad you are continuing to play the game in its chronological sequence.

Good call out!

Not just the character, but the piece of lore that could have been dropped during the campaign instead of the season.

They updated stasis fragments and added survivability to it, along with buffing some fragments. In summary, it's very much playable now
