MY fav chaarcter is Probiably ether Valkia the Gorequeen or Elbeth von Draken (both for Warhammer 3) but my overall Fav faction is the Skaven. But the best Trailer is ether the Chaos Dwarfs or THrones of Decay even though the expansion wasn't that good.

11:07 My personal favorite trailer will forever be 'The Dawn of Grand Cathay' for TW:WH3 - simply because of what it represents. The tabletop has never had Cathay as a faction, or even offered novelty models to paint; it was just a few off-handed lore mentions as "a nation somewhere out there". And then in comes Creative Assembly and makes them a fully fledged faction with their own map, identity, roster and gimmick that are unique, strong, and feel right at home in the Old World. Mad lads. EDIT: 13:26 Oh right, Creative Assembly has for a while done this rather clever thing where they offer the ultra-violent animations as a DLC pack. By selling it as an optional add-on, they get to keep the game itself at a T for Teen / PEGI 16 rating and thus avoid the sales restrictions a M for Mature / PEGI 18 rating would bring.

To say the announcement of the first Total War: Warhammer was a bombshell would be something of an understatement. The Total War series had until that point focused exclusively on historical conflicts (Sengoku Japan, Ancient Rome, Napoleonic Wars, etc.), and teaming up with the massive scale and variety offered by Warhammer Fantasy turned out to be a match made in heaven. Hell, the explosive popularity of TW:WH was likely the largest reason Games Workshop ended up reviving The Old World after killing it to be replaced by Age of Sigmar.

Bretonnia is actually not that bad as a faction (lore and concept-wise I mean). The knights are indeed extremely chivalrous, courageous and stalwart. So much so that some of them truly gain DnD-paladin style superhuman powers.

Anytime i hear someone say in Warframe, that they regret not being as "skilled" or "high level"... Who cares? You having fun? Yes? Then THAT is all that matters. I know there is big influx of people lately who became rather "elitist" in Warframe, but don't let those assholes sour your mood. Play the way you want. Not the way they say you should.

@3:00 That is a Varghulf, a vampire who has fully embraced their monstrous side and warped to become more animal-like. They are vampires who overindulged in blood and lost all pretense of humanity. They are usually insane and act as animals, but there are a few who remained somewhat intelligent. There was a Varghulf in Brettonia (French Parody country) who ruled a city called Mousillon, and another who used to be a leader of a Vampire Knight order and still talks and treats his former subordinates as if they are his kids and grandkids.

I believe the castle in the Briton vid is called Castle Doomy Doom von Doom Doom. You can quote me on that. :)

Yup its a hive world. damn i hate these are just backgrounds for characters in the actual show/movie. i could watch a series about each of those segments. i wonder if the series is about them fighting chaos marines in the depths of that hive city. that pit with the fire and the chaos space marines standing over the crowds down there make me think its some bottom segment of a hive city. either way I'm excited to see more of this. if this is a teaser I cant wait for a proper trailer. oh his show reel has a few more snippets not shown in this one, (Along with bits from Huxley another sci fi project) Congrat to you and wifey on the baby girl!

haha i have the same problem. immortal empires is crazy, i just got into the game and i bought all the dlc and it hasn't really gotten old for me cause there is so much content, i still haven't even tried all the factions yet. total war saved warhammer fantasy

It's obvious that guy didn't even complete 1st quest "Vor's Prize" and so not even scratch the surface of this game. And that statement: "He hunts you whole game and that's it" totally reflects that. And BTW. he even had to pull out reviews by filter ONLY NEGATIVE, to support his claims, because they are RARE. (and be honest, what game have ZERO negatives in this day and age) And lot of them are not even about the game. Like this one: "I had to reinstall whole game, because if I copy files to new computer, it doesn't work." -> NEGATIVE REVIEW Like, hello? Basic knowledge about using PC and applications? So in my eyes he has nothing to say, because he judge the game, while not even played through most basic TUTORIAL, to the end of that.

That said, she is the high priestess of the Nehekaran Goddess of venom and vengeance, and she (un)lives the shit out of it. Her cousin Neferata assassinated her in life, and now all our girl desires is nothing more nor less than utter annihilation of every single vampire to exist. Did I mention that she is about 7 feet tall? Then there is our boy Teclis. The bestest elf who ever elfed. And speaking of elves, Alith Anar is asshole^10, but man, is he ever cool. In an insufferable, sociopathic, douchebaggy, and yet still non!destro way. And historically, you can not avoid talking about Big M! Magnus von Bildhofen was a minor Nuln noble, during one of the darkest periods of the Empire, when it was completely torn asunder by infighting who after hearing off the coming of the Everchosen of Chaos Assavar Khul, and seeing that the rest of the nobility of the empire was arguing about silverware while their house is on-fire decided "Fine, I'll do it myself!" And started visiting all the Temples of Imperial gods, got blessed by most of the priests of those gods, raised a volunteer army on the strength of his personal piety and charisma, Picked Ghal Maraz, the warhammer of Sigmar, and led imperial relief on the besieged Kislevan city of Praag, where he 1v1 the everchosen and ended the Great War on Chaos, and became the most respected and acclaimed Emperor since Sigmar himself. Magnus the Pius is who Karl-Franz wishes he could be when he grows up, and will never measure up to. Honorable mention also goes to Valaya, the Dawi goddess of Hearth, Home, Healing, and Brewing. She is THE Dwarf goddess, wife to the other two great Dawi gods and mother to three of the other four Ancestor gods. She is the big Dwarf Mama bear of the Dawi, and she could kick as prodigious an amount of ass as her husbands.

"The shield that slays" is the name of a piece of artwork depicting the Deathwatch. So this is totally what we're seeing. The teaser is who they all were before, the Chapters they were part of. And then Astartes II will be a story featuring those characters all together as one Kill Team. "Suffer not the alien to live" makes it even more crystal clear - the purpose of the Deathwatch is killing aliens.

Also just a bit of vindication for me: This was never cancelled. Some people just got really pissy with GW and kept parroting the rumor that Syama, the dude who made the first one left on bad terms with Gw as they never let him do anything. That, of course, was based on no official source and pure speculation. You can have doubts whether the show was still happening but some of these people really thought GW only hired Syama because astartes was making them look bad, so decided to lock him in a room and never make him do anything. What delusion. Anyway, excited for astartes 2!

The yellow-brown suits with the one that turned invisible were Tau stealth suits. Having read the article on GW community site this trailer is a glimpse of the past of the characters in it, and it would seem that it will be a Deathwatch kill team with marines from those 5 chapters.
