I have done this process before, next time place a Price if parchment paper over it and use a heat tool or hair dryer, I did mine with photos I transferred onto tissue paper then I put them on the candle

Does this project leave residue on your iron?

As I recall, there was a little that came off easily with a magic eraser sponge; however you could put wax paper of parchment paper between your iron and the napkin to avoid this issue.

I dont understand why this task was attempted, without knowledge of what to do.
Alot of it is common sense. Why go on air without it?
Firstly cut design, centre it, dont over lap. It makes it look rough & ready.
Use heat gun/hair dryer, baking paper on top of napkin. The time spent Watching the candle melt & distort using an IRON?! Too much talking, talking, talking. Very frustrating.
