I kept using the controller analog stick for steering wheel and was having difficulty controlling the movement. Using left and right dpad solve it because it was much easier to control.
OK. This has been driving me nuts for a while. Is there a site where it talks about joytokey and x360ce and examples of why you need them? I have been setting up a computer with different emulators using launchbox/bigbox and xbox one controllers. I am about to try and connect that computer to an arcade setup (atgames legends ultimate via OTG). Do I need to use of those? Sorry but I have been trying to find an answer on this for a while.
Model 2 reads two ways, xinput and keyboard. So if your encoders don’t read as keyboard like an Ipac, you need joy to key. Otherwise you don’t need joy to key with an Xbox controller.
@@retrolizardscustomarcades in the configuration file i had XInput=1, which I thought meant that it was enabled but when I switched it to 0 it started working
Thank you. I was trying with the "accelerate and brake" in the menu with no success and the answer was up and down!

thanks, this shit was driving me mad, now i wish i could play the house of the dead with my xbox one controller
Can all old racing games make the modern steering wheel work in this way ?
Merci pour la vidéo.
Est ce que le volant G29 est compatible pour Sega Rally ?
Merci beaucoup pour ta réponse
sounds too clicky for arcade sticks. Idk, maybe not broken in as much as the ones sitting in arcades for years.
Do you know by any chance how to get it working with keyboard controls? using my own Bluetooth gamepad is really making it a pain in the ass.
Use X360CE 32 bit version
Hey How do i change controllers in the house of the dead
Hey names allie, anybody know how to fix the problem where it closes upon left clicking repeatidly??

does it work for ps4 controller? trying to configurate but it doesn´t detect when i press a button
No. You’ll need a Xbox controller or use x360ce 32 bit
@@retrolizardscustomarcades i fixed the problem, i just needed to connect my PS4 with the micro usb and open ds4
@@matiaschun7763 that’s awesome! So confirmation that the PS4 controller works!
Today i start on the wheel! lol ...Billy
Was able to change L Stick to D-pad so my joysticks can steer but see no way to use a spinner or to use a steering wheel.
Use X360CE
Every time I click "configure controls", Model 2 just completely closes. I don't know what I did.
Scroll through my videos and look for an updated version of this video. That should help

Will this work for model 3 as well?
Model 3 should recognize your controls. If not map an Xbox controller to them and use x360ce
steering is garbage, it is all or nothing, that is why you are fishtailing constantly.
Well for one I was using Joy to Key. If you want proper controls, use a wheel set up as an Xbox controller and enable FFB.
