Hello Tessie, yes - LOON offers really good sound for such compact cabinets. Totem specializes in great sound from limited cabinet size. Their tower speakers are typically significantly smaller than many competitors at similar prices, yet sound really big
Hello Rajan, we have ours in the front room, which is not large at all, and at low volume they sound very impressive for such a small speaker. It is surprising how much bass they create
I like small speakers particularly ones easy to drive, Using Dali Opticon 1s now with a sub with good results. Although 4 ohms, it doesn't stress the amp. Bought at closeout so don't care about the vinyl veneer but prefer real wood veneer. There is a short list of upgrades to this speaker and would like to hear a Totem Loon, perhaps a Bison, but small fits me and my needs.
Hello NC, lots of people agree with you that a smaller speaker fits their environment better. We hope you can audition both Loon and Bison Monitor sometime soon. The Bison Monitor might provide the more clear upgrade path vs what you have now: skybygramophone.com/collections/totem/products/totem-bison-monitor-bookshelf-speaker-pair. Hello Kevin, you're right that there is no need or requirement to bi-amp or bi-wire. But bi-wiring lets you separate the tweeter from the woofer. That will give you a little cleaner mid-range as well as a bit tighter bass response
This speakers are going on my favo list. They look perfect for a desktop setup.

nice 2 way speakers 👍🏻
The cabinet looks really nice.
HI Chris, yes, the cabinets look amazing in person
How does it sound in low volume in a medium sized room?

@@GramophoneMD Is it real wood veneer or vinyl? Either way it looks sharp.
Such a small speaker. Why the dual connection on the back. There would be no need to ever bi-amp or bi-wire it.

Way overpriced.
What's your recommendation?
Thank you for your comment Simon. In our listening, for this cabinet size, they are very compelling for this money
Based on what ? Are you an expert in the field ?
This is the worst part about being an audiophile. These people.
Alot of small speakers now in this range or higher. Everyone has to eat.
