These platforms are very durable. I bought my brother the Rock Rey when they were still being made and he loves it. I finally decided i was going to get my own after a while and went to order mine and they were discontinued. I was disappointed so i started looking on eBay for one and they all have "vanished". Finally almost 2 years later i got my hands on one, traded an Arrma Typhon 3s for it. I am currently in the process of restoration/rebuilding it, just waiting on parts. I aquired mine the day before the Hammer Rey was released. Every video i see makes me want it more. Being familiar with this platform also helps me know it is very durable. Your video also proves that to people who dont know about these platforms.
Hey Lane glad to see you here as I've finally gotten a chance to run my super rock rey on 8s and really let it rip and that thing is an animal! It's really fun to drive solid axles as the drive so different and yeah get that rear end kicking out which I think is more fun and exciting than normal independent suspension trucks. I also got my dbxl out with the max5 combo and that thing rips!! I put on the 1" dgi extensions to widen it out a bit and the thing is so planted and fast.
Not the Super Rock Rey, but yes, very similar to the Rock Rey and Baja Rey. The SRR is 1/6 scale while the RR is 1/10. The only differences are the length of the chassis and the lay down servo layout.
