Kevin (Macaulay Culkin) throws bricks at Harry (Joe Pesci) and Marv (Daniel Stern) on the street below.
FILM DESCRIPTION:
John Hughes and Chris Columbus repeat their best-selling formula from the first Home Alone film with this sequel. Once again Kevin McCallister's (Macaulay Culkin) family leave him behind, only now he gets on a flight to New York instead of going with his family to Miami. Kevin manages to hail a cab and is delivered to the doorsteps of the Plaza Hotel, where, using his father's credit card, he rents out a suite and has the time of his life -- although a smarmy hotel clerk (Tim Curry) and bellboy (Rob Schneider) eye him with suspicion. But ingenious Kevin keeps them at bay, using the same tomfoolery he applied to his uncle in the first picture. He takes time out from his consumer debauch to chat with a friendly old toy-store magnate (Eddie Bracken) and pontificate to a homeless Pigeon Lady (Brenda Fricker) on the meaning of Christmas. But then he runs into his old enemies Harry (Joe Pesci) and Marv (Daniel Stern).When he finds out that they plan on robbing the old man's toy store on Christmas Eve, he mans the battle stations once again, complete with electric prods, flames of fire, and sundry blunt instruments.

I love Pesci in this scene. Hilarious. He sees these bricks keep hitting Daniel Sterns character and no compassion whatsoever keeps egging the kid on. Another brick falls, Pesci just leisurely steps out of the way and turns to see it hits Marv again. Pesci playing off another good comic was always gold.

What a film. Decided to re-watch it on Christmas, and it legit gave me so many throwbacks. Hard to find comedic films like these that don't overdo it. An iconic film for the season, and an unforgettable one. This one and the first one were legit perfections from the franchise.

Both of them are pretty dim-witted in the Home Alone movies.If they weren't,they wouldn't be two-bit petty crooks and they wouldn't have been continually trying to break into a house after running into one booby trap after the next. It's like they actually got dumber in Home Alone 2.
Them getting dumber could be explained by the fact they both got injured to hell and back in the first one. Blunt force trauma does not do any good for the brain.
Harry may also be stupid, but Marv is especially the stupid one. He took damage by that lady twice in a row. Harry's the leader, but he also falls into traps.
