remember when we used to think Halo 2 had some crazy good graphics? but now when we look at it, it's a bit meh now. I think our brains will always surpass and evolve pass any visual aspect of virtual reality we are capable of creating. meaning no matter how amazing the graphics look to our eyes, it will eventually become something of the past. as we will always be in the pursuit of something much better. which is already obvious to us.
President Moore nah its more like peoples attention span and expectations are too high in the modern age, I mean look at the comments, most of the " this is boring" comments are young kids who large visual overload to please them.
President Moore I still think Halo 2 looks good. Over the years, after many dissapointments, I stopped caring about graphics, so now I do a mixture of modern and retro gaming, so to me art style is much more important than graphics. Halo has a great art style that will hold up for years to come.
Old paradigm: Games struggled to create plausible worlds due to graphical and other tech limitations. Future paradigm: The tech is their to create and experience these worlds, but poor design decisions, horrible business models (DLC, microtransactions) murder your enjoyment thereof. Thanks EA/UBI/ etc etc!
As a game dev, I strongly disagree. First of all, the images shown here obviously used GI and VXAO which are extremely performance costly effects. These can only run on excessively high-end systems so the performance is not there. Not to mention the issue of draw calls, quad overdraw, shader complexity, Vertex Shader, etc. etc. Regarding poor design choices, a lot goes into creating a fun and enjoyable game and I can't disagree with the microtransactions issue. However, CD Projekt Red proves that DLC is *not* a bad thing in Witcher 3 for example. The problem the originals (HL2, Portal Series, Doom, Quake, etc.) can never be recreated now a-days and be called good. Doom for example is an extremely basic FPS arena shooter and the devs had to be extremely innovative to make the recent game successful. However, the game was still very successful due to it's legacy in the series. These games are simply too basic now and devs are trying to figure out ways to be creating and come up with something new. As an indie dev, this is especially difficult as almost every genre is filled with all kinds of creative ideas and stories. So yeah, I disagree with statement in certain ways. EA, UBI, etc. aren't magically and can't pull out insanely creative and perfectly executed ideas out of their asses all day. Occassionally, they do, and the game is a gem (looking at you Black Flag and Rainbow Six Seige).
Megamawman Don't get me wrong - I'm not saying that the business models are bad per se, just that companies tend to get greedy and abuse them horribly, often ruining a game in the process. The Witcher devs are often quoted here, the exception proving the rule. And yes, this is a demanding tech demo (aren't they all?), but the future will only bring improvements in what the average PC is capable of. I stand by my original statement.
Megamawman I DO have an excessively high end system! Back in the old days of PC gaming it was a tradition that there was a game that almost nobody could run without upgrading their hardware. And what happened? Everybody rushed out to upgrade their PC! The same would happen today if an über game came out.
Hate to burst any bubbles, but graphics wont be this photo realistic in a functioning *game* for some time. The systems cant run these graphics AND thousands of real time collisions and effects per second. You have to compromise graphics for gameplay at some point.
Even Slime Rancher can put stress on the Xbox sometimes. I hope within the next decade tech will upgrade enough for games to support complete photorealism AND great gameplay.
yeah but not everyone has 3000 pound gaming systems anyway. Its not the consoles slowing it down its the developers as they know they will lose money if they try and develop these insane looking games with decent gameplay. Money is everything and at the moment this just isnt possible for the mainstream, and money comes from the mainstream.
This probably deserves some clarity. Can we grab a knife and cut and damage objects around us realistically without pre rendered effects? No, it's probably 20 years away. Will we be able to realistically move blanket or a pillow there with all subtle material movement? No, not anytime soon. Same deal, perhaps 10 - 15 years from now Will we be able to incorporate realistic physics for rigid items like chairs, kitchen utensils, etc? Yes it's probably possible to do even now on extremely powerful systems assuming we won't interact with "soft" objects like pillows, blankets, curtains, etc. and we won't be able to damage anything. So realistically throwing indestructible chair is possible now or within 5 years. But I can see a game with this level of detail 5-10 years from now, there's just going to be a few compromises in physics department, so movement won't look realistic enough, kinda like grass in windy areas in video games now, but no movement, static picture will look very well.
This tech can be used for home decorating/building. Get to see the different combinations of cabinets and stuff. Even the time of day/house location can be used to position windows in the best locations.
FryVision There's already a software for that but it'll take those people much time just to show off the interior when they can just simply use the pre-sets on their software unlike making an asset in Unreal Engine.
+R5E oh yeeeah. I'm sure a company would invest into a $1,000-$1,500 pc to show this off. I'm rockin a GTX1080ti in mine with an old i5-2500k overclocked to 4.0ghz. I'm considering Ryzen for my next 2017+ build
Imagine you see a similar video just as photo-realistic sets some kind of research facility, the character comes close to a mirror after 2 minutes, and you see Gordon Freeman in the glass with his crowbar, and that is how HL3 gets confirmed. Seriously, more modern games should take place in a confined environment so we could have a better visual experience without having to render a complete jungle or city. Imagine a game close to Die Hard with visuals close to this presentation!
This is just a tech demo. It takes a shitload of time to model this and thisnis all just a bunch of realistic textures. As soon as you create actual open worlds witj this amount of quality you would soon hit your (v)ram limits. Hence why every extremely realistic demo is just a static apartment.
I just bought an 8gb video card less than a year ago...they are coming out with 16gb cards very soon...I'm talking mainstream cards...not professional cards...so the limits will be disappearing soon
And that is also why nvidia and radeon had a separate graphics card for just those reason (content creation gpus [Quadro and FirePro] tend to have more vram than content viewer gpus [GTX and RX])
Johnfuse, So give me tangible proof that you're not already in a simulation? After you succeed the Greek schools-of-thought regarding epistemology, that is.
What is this "original you" that you speak of? What happens when the cells that make up your body get replaced with new cells? Are we all not just copies of past versions of ourselves?
Does anyone else get a bit of an uncanny valley vibe from these? something about them just seems... off. It looks dead. it's like being inserted into a picture.
hamelzz Nothing.... absolutely nothing moves in there. And there also isn't any kind of sound stimulant, excluding the music. Everything is so neat... And nobody except you seems to exist there, even though there's more than one bedroom with king-sized beds.
Are the shadows just baked into the textures? Thats probably why its running so well. It if was a real shadow system I bet it would be running a bit slower. I could be completely wrong here.
Correct: Shadows are pre-baked into separate shadow texture that is applied on top of the rest. This eliminates the need for heavy computation at run time. If you notice - there are no lights changes that would break the illusion.
Can't see our legs. 0/10 worst game of the universe. But seriously, it's amazing how far we've come in terms of graphics. Also I'm surprised we can run something like this on a single 1080.
heyy Yeah......... I got a headache from my own PC looking at a MONITOR! Not even a VR Headset(which I don't have btw) just playing GTA 5 on a shitty pre-built PC.
You could add 100% more realism by removing those obvious computer created camera drives.. Replace it something like handheld DSLR style recording movements.
Im not talking about that Michael J. Fox should be recording handheld, just saying that there should be like "semi-professional imagestabilized rig style" camera drives around.
play or watch someone play PT on youtube. it does great at adding more realistic camera movement. Obviously you can't do that in VR (nausea), but here in a 2d setting, it would fool way more people, to be sure.
looks very impressive, but I'm guessing it's baked in?? I would be way more impressed if the lights and/or objects were moving and all that global illumination was updated in real time without any noise
Well now, Valve has released Half Life Alyx and it has beautiful baked lighting combined with real time lighting and it has tons of detail and physics interaction and its a VR game so I would say we are closer to this than some of you might think.
most of the furniture used in this demo are modern design classics like the eames plastic chairs or the ottoman lounge chair. nothing to do with ikea. they just copy most of those designs. really expensive stuff the remodelled here.
Matt Curtice there are a lot of good jokes in this comment section already. so I dont need one where the commenter doesn't know what he's talking about.
imagine playing a PT style game in an apartment like this, you loop through this one hyper-realistic place with slight changes, maybe notes are left which give you a storyline and with each loop youd become more familiar and used to how this world looks so when you start hearing noises you would be SO immersed. there could be paranormal stuff happening and itd look and feel so real. then at the end a person comes through the door and itd make you feel so uneasy with all the set up and then this almost real but not-quite person approaching you itd be creepy in the best way.
6:18 if I were to live in this house and sleep here... I would unsurprisingly roll off the bed and faceplant on the bottom floor most likely the very first night \o/
Yeah i thought the same.., the sides could be a bit higher.., My thoughts.., you roll of like you said, fall down to the floor or the stairs.., you wake up dead, because your neck broke..,
If we are already creating realistic world on a computer what prevents the theory to exist that in the future humans created the universe themselves like a videogame as shown in this video and that we are living in a simulation
@@jorlcandemore i guees most people watching this video think of a videogame with photorealistic quality, and not photorealist archviz, which is the actual point in the video.
Yeah, I don't want to disappoint anyone, but this is not really an indication of anything. So what we have here is a *completely static* interior, with very minimal smooth textures, all in extremely compact space, with no animation or even static humans to speak of. It's really easy to make everything look fantastic, you don't even have to be an expert of anything. And even then, the shadows are noticeably blocky in some places. So no, this isn't any kind of revolution -- UE4 is just another step in evolution of graphical technology. What really makes Unreal 4 stand out, is that it's an industrial-grade tool available *for free* to absolutely anyone. In fact, it's even open-source, so you can make whatever changes you want to it -- one of the examples I've seen is some people managed to launch UE4 on Linux, even though there is no official support.
Trojan Hell would be, yes. However rendering something like this is incredibly time consuming and there are way too many houses. filming everything with a fisheye will probably be the go-to choice for a looooong time.
Vitaliy Novikov Actually there have been quite a bit of houses on the market lately that allow the buyer to virtually tour the house by clicking through the rooms (like google street view but with higher detail). The only real difference from that and this is the fact that the current walkthroughs restrict you to only specific positions, usually only 3 feet apart.
As good as this looks, it's a static scene; reflections and lighting, shadows, etc are apart of the textures used in this render rather than being rendered in realtime
Here we go again. One of the strong suits of UE 4 is the fact that all the physical based rendering is done in real-time. The lightning is NOT pre baked like in previous gen UE engines and other older gen engines like it.
It's so strange to look at! Unbelievable. I'm looking forward to seeing similar videos! Your channel is great man, especially your modding tutorials. Gamer Poets and yours are the top tier imo. Your best graphics setup for Skyrim pt.1/2 are what got me into modding and taught me how-to do it, modding skyrim is now an addiction lol. Honestly your one of my favourite UA-camrs, thanks a lot.
that is an interesting concept... vr art galleries where people design rooms, houses or just a scene in general with specific mood set in mind. Even places where you can go be alone in a room with a vr headset for an hour just relaxing. if you have kids this would be amazing !
That's not really the actual reason. The thing is that games have a much bigger world to render, most demos are architectural demos as 1) it's less heavy than rendering nature 2) it's a limited, small environment. Games with the same technical base would run much worse in practice because of the bigger complexity and larger world.
@Dennis Jungbauer Why do you think that larger world is needed for a game ? GTA use rendering of limited world in your field view only. Sure even thing like that would not help because there is no enough GPU power for such number of models and graphics like this but what about indoors ? There are games beside FPS that can use photorealism NOW. Just look at the new Titanic game (not photorealistic but not a far away either. Also using Unreal 4 engine.
Yeah, you could indoors. But most games (I know) aren't just happening indoors. And if you mean this with Titanic: ua-cam.com/video/mMzoryySJps/v-deo.html Well, that's also not really a game, I'd say. It's a project of recreating the Titanic to be able discovering it - not much happening there.
This is baked light, no real time generated. This is completely something different. You want to know how Unreal Engine deal with real time generated light? Launch any game - lame cartoon style graphics with awful bloom effect. These demos are cheap tricks, every CG artist who make architectural visualisation know it.
Ujdul Ujdaae exactly the first thing that came on my mind after seeing the video! Nicely exposed, baked textures not real time engine, this was possible 5 years ago :)
Ujdul Ujdaae you dont really have to say negative things about unreal. Yes this is baked and nothing can move. But unreal has games with amazing graphics.
"You dont really have to say negative things about unreal." Why? Ujdul has a fair point. This stuff here is just advertisement crap. It looks okay but that's it.
Ujdul Ujdaae has no clue it seems. Have you tried this in unity? UE has much more options for getting the light look good, you can mix baked with dynamic lights (unity could do that aswell) and in UE you can use IES; and even the stock spotlight is so smooth that you could fake GI with these alone and have it dynamic including shadows. No lame cartoon style. Where did you get that from? Tell me an engine that looks better than UE out of the box. You need an insane amount of effort to make unity look like that, and even then, some areas won't work out (e.g. if you use flawed geometry from planning software, UE has better options to make this look good anyway).
Um, Black people participated in both world wars One of the French Air Pilots during WW1 is a Black Boxer Black People have been living in France and England since the Roman Empire
Even with graphics it wont be any good. Don't need this high level of graphics need high level of gameplay. Games get refunded if they play shit devs need to learn this.
i'm almost 21 and have thought about giving up video games for adulthood but after seeing this.. FUCK THAT i'm playing until i get a fps or open world shooter with these graphics!
Not Online Frog give up on videogames and reach your goals. Come back to games when you are 30 and succesful and games will actually look like this. Win win mate.
joost Houterman i can't skip red dead 2, or assassins creed origins haha. its like every time i try to quit, something beyond incredible is about to come out lol
I know thats true, i have the DK2 rift so I know the SDE very well but im talking in general, one day when SDE will be gone and it will not be pixelated anymore then it would surely feel pretty much like a real place more or less.

President Moore nah its more like peoples attention span and expectations are too high in the modern age, I mean look at the comments, most of the " this is boring" comments are young kids who large visual overload to please them.
President Moore Did you mean obvious or oblivious?
President Moore I still think Halo 2 looks good. Over the years, after many dissapointments, I stopped caring about graphics, so now I do a mixture of modern and retro gaming, so to me art style is much more important than graphics. Halo has a great art style that will hold up for years to come.
President Moore you high af
yeah it's mostly kids
Megamawman
Don't get me wrong - I'm not saying that the business models are bad per se, just that companies tend to get greedy and abuse them horribly, often ruining a game in the process. The Witcher devs are often quoted here, the exception proving the rule. And yes, this is a demanding tech demo (aren't they all?), but the future will only bring improvements in what the average PC is capable of. I stand by my original statement.
Megamawman
I DO have an excessively high end system! Back in the old days of PC gaming it was a tradition that there was a game that almost nobody could run without upgrading their hardware. And what happened? Everybody rushed out to upgrade their PC! The same would happen today if an über game came out.
Thank the consumer, not the company.
Welp...you can't have everything :(
Hate to burst any bubbles, but graphics wont be this photo realistic in a functioning *game* for some time. The systems cant run these graphics AND thousands of real time collisions and effects per second. You have to compromise graphics for gameplay at some point.
Freezetyle Don't forget how much consoles are slowing us down
Even Slime Rancher can put stress on the Xbox sometimes.
Same deal, perhaps 10 - 15 years from now
Will we be able to incorporate realistic physics for rigid items like chairs, kitchen utensils, etc? Yes it's probably possible to do even now on extremely powerful systems assuming we won't interact with "soft" objects like pillows, blankets, curtains, etc. and we won't be able to damage anything.
So realistically throwing indestructible chair is possible now or within 5 years.
But I can see a game with this level of detail 5-10 years from now, there's just going to be a few compromises in physics department, so movement won't look realistic enough, kinda like grass in windy areas in video games now, but no movement, static picture will look very well.
We wont see stuff like this for another 10+ years
Nasa called. They want their computer back.
grgamer 90's called. They want their joke back.
Here we go again: another internet Rambo.
Kantkantlekant Kant dude what are you on about he's not 8 his channel is him bodybuilding
This tech can be used for home decorating/building. Get to see the different combinations of cabinets and stuff. Even the time of day/house location can be used to position windows in the best locations.
FryVision that's why it's called architecture visualization
FryVision There's already a software for that but it'll take those people much time just to show off the interior when they can just simply use the pre-sets
on their software unlike making an asset in Unreal Engine.
I figured there is software like this for architecture visualization but is it at this level of detail?
FryVision Almost depends in how exactly you render your design
Cat M Then Gabe shows up and stops you from seeing the leak footage. His very last words "Don't talk about 3's ever again".
I went outside today, the graphics were shit compared to this
You're losing touch with reality my brother
the same fucking profile pic....... brother

Dracoburst Click Bait Master in 144p
Dracoburst with 3 fps
Dracoburst yeah but you still can't beat it
This is just a tech demo. It takes a shitload of time to model this and thisnis all just a bunch of realistic textures. As soon as you create actual open worlds witj this amount of quality you would soon hit your (v)ram limits. Hence why every extremely realistic demo is just a static apartment.
White American Male actually pretty true, VRAM will be a concern for larger world with this much detail
Berton still a good look of what it may be in the future.
I just bought an 8gb video card less than a year ago...they are coming out with 16gb cards very soon...I'm talking mainstream cards...not professional cards...so the limits will be disappearing soon
SuperMachead1 rip I got a 2gb card ;-;
And that is also why nvidia and radeon had a separate graphics card for just those reason (content creation gpus [Quadro and FirePro] tend to have more vram than content viewer gpus [GTX and RX])
Cant wait to play this on my ps5 at a glorious 20 frames per 10 seconds
847,628 views or 2 frames per second
847,628 views 20 seconds per frame*
847,628 views the human eye can't see the difference past 2 fps pc dork
knijn 2fps is more cinematic anyway, especially when you have the highest quality pixels from the Xbone One X
Lockheed YOU STILL PLAY ON THE XBOX ONE X that's for scrubs real man play on the xboxx xxx x ultra x
This game is brought to you by IKEA
Yeah but when can I upload my conscious so that I can live inside of it.
Gabriel Huerta Wouldn't you rather see just how far down the rabbit hole goes?
Johnfuse, So give me tangible proof that you're not already in a simulation? After you succeed the Greek schools-of-thought regarding epistemology, that is.
What is this "original you" that you speak of? What happens when the cells that make up your body get replaced with new cells? Are we all not just copies of past versions of ourselves?
Only possible way is transfer the whole brain into an interface, like robocop.
actually a better example would be like the Matrix lol.
Does anyone else get a bit of an uncanny valley vibe from these?
something about them just seems... off. It looks dead. it's like being inserted into a picture.
yeah but it's also melancholic and beautiful
hamelzz
Nothing.... absolutely nothing moves in there. And there also isn't any kind of sound stimulant, excluding the music. Everything is so neat... And nobody except you seems to exist there, even though there's more than one bedroom with king-sized beds.
hamelzz baked graphics, no power for true shadow or reflection rendering :3
Kyre Kyre Simply not live.
Yeah
this house is something that ikea threw up
More realistic than live action
Other than the occasional texture clipping (which was really hard to notice) i could see this as real footage
Nick Thompson it is lol
Can't wait to play this on my Wii U
I'm waiting for the GOTY/Definitive Edition on Game Boy.
LOL
My rock is going to get 100+ fps
Aragorn8998 😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃
Reggie Garcia My potato will tots get 240+ fps.
Good graphics are finally good enough for half life 3. get to work valve
Would obviously be on Source 2 anyway
Charmanderaznable what if its on source 3
Fresh hh We didn't get Half Life 3 but we did get a Dota card game called Artifact! Sounds great right? *sarcasm*
The Timelords Your computer would turn into a little pizza oven if it had to calculate the lightning every single frame. Long live baking
A simulation, inside a simulation.
They are, that’s why it feels like it’s just a picture he is walking around in
Can't see our legs. 0/10 worst game of the universe.
But seriously, it's amazing how far we've come in terms of graphics. Also I'm surprised we can run something like this on a single 1080.
0:29 , There's a mistake in the lever steps at the back!
What's that supposed to mean ?
😯
we live in good times. but best to come if we can survive that long
well well well...2 years later
but can my PC with a 1core 1.8ghz processor, 60mb ram,1mb vram run it?
Aquafye you know that 60 mb RAM isn't possible right? same counts for 1 mb VRAM.
laber mich nicht zu it's possible with a little
Imagination!
Yes, you can run it. You'll probably get around 100+ FPS or so. ;)
Wait you have processor from like 2003, Ram from 1998 and video card from like 1993. That's some strange combination..
Aquafye Still not as bad specs as mine.
it would be great on VR
Nathan kakaroth you would be throwing up every five minutes cause your frames are so low
heyy Yeah......... I got a headache from my own PC looking at a MONITOR! Not even a VR Headset(which I don't have btw) just playing GTA 5 on a shitty pre-built PC.
heyy Stop being poor and get a decent PC for VR. This is your fault, not the fault of the technology.
Randomnick123 nice mjfox reference man.
Are we going to be able to see a night time version soon! :D
Yo imagine playing a full game that is this good looking
Aye! You got Rodney Mullens board on the shelf! That's awesome
Dallasmed65 Hey Dallas!
looks very impressive, but I'm guessing it's baked in?? I would be way more impressed if the lights and/or objects were moving and all that global illumination was updated in real time without any noise
You might need a supercomputer then
Cryengine can do that actually.
Well now, Valve has released Half Life Alyx and it has beautiful baked lighting combined with real time lighting and it has tons of detail and physics interaction and its a VR game so I would say we are closer to this than some of you might think.
Tbh not as good as black ops 3 on the Xbox 360
Pete Mushmole
Yeah, now those are real graphics.
wow did you guys see ps1? - thats some next level-shit! *_*
Well, of course not
+Firstpo jkh your not verry smart arnt you
was just pointing out the fact that he didnt get the joke without being extremely rude but whatever just go on about my english i dont rly care lol
to be fair it is just a house and not much more, but holy shit imagine this with VR. I can't wait till games become indistinguishable from reality
ThermArt
This is ABSOLUTELY worrying LOL
Ni Ck that's what people said when the car was invented
Average Alien *How do you know it isn't already and you're logged in right now?!?!?* 😱😱😱
Roger the Alien stfu
Roger the Alien man, fuck you. now im having an existential crisis 😂
...Shure it looks good, but didn't found any shotguns or killed a single zombie.
Iván Egües imagine a game like that, but with this graphics.
would live under a rock for months if this was on a shooter
one day games will look this good, and I will never leave the house again
When you ONLY shop at IKEA
lucky ass
most of the furniture used in this demo are modern design classics like the eames plastic chairs or the ottoman lounge chair. nothing to do with ikea. they just copy most of those designs. really expensive stuff the remodelled here.
kuaraba just accept a well timed joke
Matt Curtice there are a lot of good jokes in this comment section already. so I dont need one where the commenter doesn't know what he's talking about.
kuaraba wow idiot, we know it isnt actually IKEA furniture, its just a joke. You obviously don't have any humor whatsoever.
imagine playing a PT style game in an apartment like this, you loop through this one hyper-realistic place with slight changes, maybe notes are left which give you a storyline and with each loop youd become more familiar and used to how this world looks so when you start hearing noises you would be SO immersed. there could be paranormal stuff happening and itd look and feel so real. then at the end a person comes through the door and itd make you feel so uneasy with all the set up and then this almost real but not-quite person approaching you itd be creepy in the best way.
Where is this from? and where can I find these showcases?
Google.
Can I create a girlfriend on there ?
eli li Soon
eli li Hype
Y'all Eugenes need pussy
TheClumzylerch there is no "d" in refrigerator.
No you can't, you having a girlfriend wouldn't be realistic
is this in 1920x1080, 2560x1440, or 3840x2160 Resolution?
Mostly 1440p :) (my native screen resolution) But my GTX 1080 was really sweating to render this resolution :o 1080p was always 60+ fps
PredCaliber i should try to see if my 860 will explode if i try to play this
how beautiful is that... the graphics, the projects... those shelves in the stairs?? a bed on a platform? damn i want to live like that...
6:18 if I were to live in this house and sleep here... I would unsurprisingly roll off the bed and faceplant on the bottom floor most likely the very first night \o/
Yeah i thought the same.., the sides could be a bit higher..,
My thoughts.., you roll of like you said, fall down to the floor or the stairs.., you wake up dead, because your neck broke..,
@destruidor12 Yes.
If we are already creating realistic world on a computer what prevents the theory to exist that in the future humans created the universe themselves like a videogame as shown in this video and that we are living in a simulation
Matrix! It's true! :D

Andres Albrincole this comment made me laugh out loud in real life for an excessively long time. Thank you!
Dave Woodford Very old joke.
Dave Woodford very very old dude..
Furniture is not a big deal demonstration. Show jungle and people.
Что Я Думаю О i noticed the trees still look plastic.. but the textures will looked fantastic..
Because what you want in archviz is show the jungle...
In fact, it's even open-source, so you can make whatever changes you want to it -- one of the examples I've seen is some people managed to launch UE4 on Linux, even though there is no official support.
nobody cares
There will always be people for whom this is new. And I don't yet know how to do this and can't wait to learn.
What a great tool for REAL ESTATE agent... make a website that SELLS homes and allow customers to walk VIRTUALLY in the house it's the future
Wooow
Trojan Hell would be, yes. However rendering something like this is incredibly time consuming and there are way too many houses. filming everything with a fisheye will probably be the go-to choice for a looooong time.
Vitaliy Novikov Actually there have been quite a bit of houses on the market lately that allow the buyer to virtually tour the house by clicking through the rooms (like google street view but with higher detail). The only real difference from that and this is the fact that the current walkthroughs restrict you to only specific positions, usually only 3 feet apart.
you're the smartest man alive
Could you provide us with names or links to these showcases?
BowGunner use google
I did, turned out I had found it but the download link is no longer active. So yeah, use google, smartass.
When I was a child I thought about this realistic graphic someday and if it's possible in the future and now it is! Just awesome!
Minecraft in 4k is still better.

Marksen only on Xbox one x
Joaquim Vaz Pereira He isn't even a troll, he's just making a joke, fuckhead.

MonitoMR I know just fucking around
Touch of Chaos dumbass
White American Male whoa whoa whoa, no need for the hostility here, it's all in good fun,
MonitoMR fuck you
As good as this looks, it's a static scene; reflections and lighting, shadows, etc are apart of the textures used in this render rather than being rendered in realtime
This really makes you think of Musk's statement of us living in a VR simulation.. This really is almost indistinguishable from reailty.
This isnt a game....
Its art
that is an interesting concept... vr art galleries where people design rooms, houses or just a scene in general with specific mood set in mind.
Even places where you can go be alone in a room with a vr headset for an hour just relaxing. if you have kids this would be amazing !
Oh boy, I hope they release this on the Sega Game Gear.
Unreal Engine 5.0 - Multidimensional hyper-space travel is here
the sims 10?
Looks good and all but the npcs are still gonna look like shit
No.
Fabulous hotdog yes
and have broken animations :3
Why are there no Games they look so good like this?
Nock because this isnt a game. the whole thing is faked.
Nock the light and a is all baked in this and they are all very small, static environments. I full game would be much more demanding.
Nock Waaaay too much effort needed to design a game looking like this which is not playable because of the Performance in the end
Ok...maybe in a few Years.
Nock Consoles.
Thanks for the upload, just what i needed as an example of photorealism closing in on games :)
can it run crysis ?
Wow this looks so real lol, how did you pull this off, what kind of alien technology do you have that allowed for this to be run at real time?
And if you mean this with Titanic: ua-cam.com/video/mMzoryySJps/v-deo.html
Well, that's also not really a game, I'd say.
You need an insane amount of effort to make unity look like that, and even then, some areas won't work out (e.g. if you use flawed geometry from planning software, UE has better options to make this look good anyway).
yup, you move the bed or a pillow and you'll have a horrible black patch XD ...
i am literally blown away at how real that looks
Well... Crysis's graphics are officially outdated.
nah, crysis 3 is still a beast
wales2k they've been outdated for a while now with games like the witcher 3. Crysis is only demanding due to extremely poor optimization.
Wow guys minecraft 4k on Xbox one x looks so good

If the battlefield game had such graphics, we would need GTX 9080 to run it
And it would still be shit cause of the bunch of retards you find in game...
you'll still need to remove black characters from that game for realism.
Um, Black people participated in both world wars
One of the French Air Pilots during WW1 is a Black Boxer
Black People have been living in France and England since the Roman Empire
Even with graphics it wont be any good. Don't need this high level of graphics need high level of gameplay. Games get refunded if they play shit devs need to learn this.
Christian Dauz They were extremely rare for WW1 and rare for WW2, Rome was multicultural not Europe
i'm almost 21 and have thought about giving up video games for adulthood but after seeing this.. FUCK THAT i'm playing until i get a fps or open world shooter with these graphics!
