It makes no sense y they didn't talk about the wheels & tires they have or the light bar or anything more useful mods. What about 4 point harness, a tool kit, or an extra belt?
Yes the torq locker front diff looks like a real winner. The people who say the X3 is "3 wheel drive" aren't kidding. This will be one of the next things I do, after I find a decent panoramic rear view mirror
@Wes Lawrence Same here. Picked up a base turbo for 16,999 with rebates, and we are far from rich. Best SxS i have ever had, and was always a Polaris guy. Best fit/finish/quality around.
This is a most unfortunate list of recommendations. The bumpers do very little for you, the windshield does even less. Smart riders will wear a full face helmet, negating the need for any sort of windscreen. The spare tire is useless, because you can't change a tire without tools or a jack, and you're never going to fit a jack anywhere on this machine without a cargo carrier. The most obvious and most useful upgrades for the X3 are 1. a tire plugging kit and a plug in compressor. 2. door pockets or a storage container for your lunch, shades, tools, etc, and 3rd but probably most important are the trailing arm rock guards that keep rocks from lodging in between your wheel rim an your brake caliper, which is an absolute day ender.
yea i was thinking of the spare tire carrier and decided it would be better to get a plug kit.. or that slime stuff.. also the plug in compressor would probably blow your fuse ... so it might not work that well. I might grab a big c)2 cartridge or something. But at the same time if you have a locker in front you can drive it on a tree and change the front wheel. Just loosen the lugs on the ground!
It seems like those cheap pumps from Pep boys or any of the discount auto parts stores work just fine. When they break you can just toss them. I bought a fancy small pump from Costco and it was no good at all.
If mounting a spare tire right in the middle of the center rear view mirror is your favorite accessory then side mirrors better make the list as well
My dream ride!
That thing looks sick! I've seen a couple now and they're the best looking side by side out there!
Thought it was ugly at first, but it has grown on me for sure.

makes the Mad Max Vehicles look 'corporate' by comparison.

I thought a fire extinguisher would top the list. ;-)
Very good point!!!!!!
new front diff should be 1st on the list of mods !!!
Auto locker front diff.

The little cig lighter pumps work great, they don't blow fuses at all
what pump do you use.. if you mind me asking! And do you have a set in the rear to keep all this stuff?
