I'm a newbie (but I call myself a professional day trader) and I did just what you said. I was long EURUSD, saw and traded the initiation, sold at mitigation, then shorted the mitigation back down to the range. Closed my short, then after a confirmation of continuation, I when long again! If I get stopped out, I know it was a good trade, I followed my rules. Thank you NJAT!
Mate the swing indicator looks pretty interesting the other way as a break out strategy for scalping. Eg. If price is above 200ema and we get a new swing high then buy the next candle that closes above the swing high with a stop at the last swing low and exit at 2x. Dont take the trade if new swing high is lower than or equal to previous one. And vice versa for shorts
This is a crazy question. Think you need to re-ask this in more detail lol. A range inside of the range? Or a range outside of the range? Either way CRT (Candle Range Theory) is the answer to your question. Find the higher time frame candle the price is trading within, that is your range, you’re welcome if this helps you
