- I'm gonna take a pause from tainted lost. He's fun and all but htis challenge was HARD.
By the way, I wanted to do ultra hard but with a twist... We'll see.
By the way who do you think is the hardest boss? Delirium or mother?

Ed also said multiple times that he's not happy about how delirium turned out to be.
I'll continue to hope for a rework and when that happens, you can bet i'll make a video on it.

Fun fact: "Better items" means that you can't get items that are just HP ups as t-lost (like you wont be seeing breakfast on any t-lost run)
And you wont see anything that gives flight, spectral tears, or requires you to take damage. Just general removal of anything useless to the lost. You also wont see the holy mantle, because Edmund is a sadist.

Better items means all useless items are removed, most defensive (i.e. passive tear blockers, mantle, etc) items are removed and low-quality items have a 20% chance to be rerolled.

Some of the best isaac content I've seen on UA-cam
Delirium is harder no contest, mother's hard sure but she has patterns that can be learnt and dodged with enough practice, is always on your screen (minus her charge which is telegraphed) so you know exactly what she's doing and getting to her doesn't have any massive stop gap it's just a different run with some knife bits.
Delirium on the other hand is absolute randomness, there's no pattern to memorise or learn outside of constant tear rings that never end no matter what boss he is, he gets quicker and quicker the closer he is to death, he can basically telefrag you with no warning, is rarely on the screen so you have no clue what he's doing if you don't pay attention to sound cues and you HAVE to reach and fight hush first if you even want a 100% garuntee to fight him otherwise its chance you find his portal.
I BARELY beat him with T.Lost and I had to use 3 holy mantles and about 400 uses of the glowing hourglass. With mother you can walk in with most runs and be OK, with Delirium if you are not as broken and ridiculous as he is you will most likely die.
Three things are certain in life
#1: Death
#2: Taxes
#3: Rag Mega ruining your Tainted Lost run.

I've beaten Delerium with T. Lost just a few minutes ago. Had a preatty lucky run with Glowing Hour Glass and 4.5 Volt. I felt so facilitated after that. I can't describe.
It was definitely worth all the pain with T.Lost
and i died 4 times trying to beat isaac with regular lost... ( would have probably lost all 9 of them if it weren't for ventricle razor)

100% on lost and tainted lost was easier in my opinion than normal Jaco and Esau, I gave up on legitimately grinding rng run for em', I started resetting runs with item rooms and sacrifice rooms on starting room for either good item room items or good angel room items and just plugging in 2 controllers getting 3 boss room items.

probably the new pop nerf, if a tear bounces 8 times it breaks, tear detonator spawns 10 or 12 per tear. they all spawn in the same place, so they probably would break instantly
