You can make any brush glow !!! Go to brush settings and change from standard to glow! I use the speckled brush with glow effect to make stars or glitter 💙

I have a tip for my fellow autodesk users! You probably knew this, but you can change the opacity of a layer. Using the fill bucket and then making the layer transparent can look like a colored filter, which is pretty cool.

Your tip about maximising pixels for a project was very helpful. That improves raster image clarity as it's not vector infinitely resizeable. File size gets larger, that can be an advantage. Converting pixels to mm can produce different vertical or horizontal sheet dimensions. An A3 horizontal image is 5000 x 3535 pixels. Keep posting other tips. Auto desk Sketchbook Pro subscription enables a version that gets better and better between each upgrade. Thank you Aseel.

I know nobody asked me, but the best tip that I could share that many sketchbook users don't know about is ALWAYS LOCK ALL LAYERS you are not currently working on.
The reason I say many users don't even know about the lock layers function is because many users assume that the "lock transparency" icon and the "lock layers" icon are the same thing. THEY ARE NOT!
For those who don't know what I'm talking about, let me explain.
When you look at your layers on the right, you will notice they all have a little eyeball and a little lock.
Well, this little lock is the "lock transparency" lock.
Now, pick a layer and tap on it so that the layer properties come up. This is the window that says cut, paste, duplicate, merge, etc.
Inside this window you will also see another lock 🔒.
This lock is the "lock layer" lock and it is different than the "lock transparency" lock!!
When you activate the "lock layer" lock, it prevents you from being able to accidentally draw, write, delete or otherwise alter this layer in any way. ⁹
When you are drawing on one layer that maybe you are going to be spending a lot of time on, it is a good idea to lock all of the layers you are NOT working on at the moment to prevent your hand or finger from accidentally clicking on another layer causing you to draw on the wrong layer for who knows how long.
And there will be instances where the undo function does you no good if you've gone too far.,
Always lock the layers that you're not working on. That's my humble advice that nobody asked for lol

Thank you for your videos! I wish on some parts there was more detail. Given I am new to the iPad sketchbook app I am trying to learn and some things you go over very quickly and it is hard to see what you are doing. I am not catching what you are saying in your "easier coloring" part of the video. Can you provide more detail as it looks like a fantastic tip. Thanks so much!

When it comes to smaller canvases and your trying to do line-art, the lines smaller than 4.9 are edgy and hard to color with paint bucket tool. Plus it’s just a better resolution that f your planning on posting it on Deviantart or something
