      It is possible that the O'Donoghue of the Glens moved to Killaha Castle in Glenflesk in the 17th century. However, it should be noted that there were several branches of the O'Donoghue clan in Ireland, and the family tree can be quite complex.

    There were two O'Donoghue clans, the O'Donoghues of the Glen which is still active today. The other was the O'Donoghues of the Lake. This is their castle. This clan was overtaken and disbanded by the English under Ludlow who served under Cromwell. It is said that many of the clan escaped to the Black Valley and were taken in by their relatives of te Glem clan, if you are ever in the area I recommend visiting the Black Valley. ua-cam.com/video/EUaf7pyM_uM/v-deo.html
