What a great word!!! My husband divorced me after 27 years of marriage and married someone that has already been divorced twice. This has made a horrible impact on our children and they are 21-26. I can only imagine what kind of impact it makes on younger children. Brothers and sisters, Marriage is worth fighting for!!! Standing for my covenant marriage...til death do us part!
I'm in that situation now. How is everything going?
Theressa T- I am a 34 year old Mother of two girls and have been married almost 13 years. When my husband and I married we both believed in Christ (both baptized); until I allowed him to sway me to join him in the New Age Religion belief system a couple of years ago. I have recently come back to Christ ironically enough through of our marital hardship (but, for a bigger purpose). He has come to a place where he feels unfulfilled in our marriage and that we are not compatible. He says that when he gets money from his music career he will take care of me financially but, divorce me. In the meantime I am remaining faithful to the covenant. My heart is absolutely shattered. It has been a month since he told me that our journey has ended and I asked him if he could considered changing his mind. His heart is hardened. The holy spirit rose up in me last night as I boldly told him that God would have the last word in our marriage. He actually agreed. I am standing in the fire since we are still living together and raising our Daughters. I will certainly pray for your union as your response inspired me to respond and ask that you pray for mine as well. At the end of the day..God's will be done. #castingmycares #godhasabiggerplan #lettinggoandlettinggod

Candace keep praying if you truly want God to fix it. I was in your situation the only difference is I was the one who told my wife we had come to the end of our relationship. She continued to pray and cry out to God. Now not only are we together and happily married but God has placed a love in me for my wife like no bodies business. We may have difficulty every now and then but we not going anywhere. I pray that the Lord gives you favor in all that you want. Amen

Thank you Pastor Jenkins for this message. My husband and I have been married 40 years with God's grace. It does build so much character and selflessness. You have to learn how to sacrifice and have the patience of Job. Most of all, you have to not only love each other but like each other, and keep God in the center of it all.

The demon of islam came to my husband's life and now he is a lost soul in that false religion. I pray to God everyday for him to be set free and come to Christ again and for our marriage to be restored in Jesus name.

Thank you for this sermon. Marriage is NOT about happiness; it's about HOLINESS!!! It's about building God's Holy Righteousness Character. It takes 3 to make a marriage: the husband, the wife and God/Jesus Christ at the center. Both fulfilling their biblical roles in the marriage covenant. Sadly, most people don't even know what a covenant is. Thanks again for sharing this sermon and God bless! P.S. By the way, I'm a non-denominational Christian married for 25 years.

I get that I'm waiting on my husband I got to that point thank u. Kids so suffer I tried to heal everything in the family for a long time however it drained me. this is so true spoke to me aswell. I'm not married. Thank u. We are all accountable for our mistakes. I met childs dad when he was on drugs and alcohol our life was lead to destruction however I dont blame him as I had a choice and I made mistakes thereafter and I'm forgiven. Thank u lord I claim this prayer. I pray for all my family my kids especially. 🙏😔🙂

I thank God for your ministry. I never thought my marriage would be in danger. I married twice before on my own and not hearing from God. I made a vow to God that if I ever was to get married again it would be for the duration of life the only way out would be death. I married again this pass June was 26 years ago. We have been together 30 years. On this year 2018 that became a test. It was frustrating, it was nerve wrecking but, I endured and it built my character. I thank God for your ministry that GOD has built. Thank you Pastor Jenkins for this powerful word. I am one of those who married someone that I didn't get God's ok to marry. We have been separated and divorced for over 20 years. Our son is 22 years old and he says it doesn't hurt him that we divorced because it is all he has ever known. Unfortunately, I think it does effect him. He lives with me and has never seen a marital relationship that he can emulate. His father, although he loves him, has a new family with his current wife and generally sees my son 2-3 times per year. To my knowledge my son holds my ex in high regard as I have always spoke nothing but positive things about his dad but it hurts my spirit that he and his dad don't see or talk to each other more often. It bothers me that my son has no active male role model in his life. My father died when I was 22 and his paternal grandfather died in vietnam. My brother is the only older male in his life but has his own family and work that he is dealing with. My ex is remarried and although we are friends, I wish that I had chosen the mate God had for me back in my twentys.. I desire to be married again someday as I am one of the many single black females over 50 in this country, but this time I am waiting on God. If His desire is for me to be married then I will wait for who He has for me, if He chooses for me to stay single, I will do that. I just want His will to be done in my life.
