Here in Australia, I have been using fibre to the home's internet 100/40 speed plan for a few years now. Then my ISP started to offer 500/50 plan, made the switch and pretty much getting just over 500Mbps down and about 43Mbps up.
A site to be seen when downloading game updates or games at max speeds.
Another good thing about maxis is their unlimited data for phone plan if you combine home fibre with phone plan. I hv the both maxis fibre and phone package with unlimited data. One good things is before 2022, maxis provide multi sim. All the multi sim come with unlimited data as well if tie under same bill. I hv 4 for my kid device and my device which cost rm15 per sim only. You can’t find this unlimited data sim with no speed cap @ only rm15 in the market now 👍.

@@wongshinwei7298 the unlimited package for main sim still available if you combine under same bill. however the multi sim has stop since early this year. i heard they still provide under business plan package but fibre and phone package plan might more expensive compare to consumer plan

what provider you were using before you switched to maxis home fibre?
I've been using Maxis Home Fibre for the past 2 years, no problems with support or their internet service at all. But, their Wifi 6 router is trash. Intermittent wifi connections. Better to get a proper wifi router (eg. Asus, Dlink, TpLink).
Can you share what is your old telco that you were using for 1:44 ?
Unfortunately my building no maxis support. I heard many people actually wan to try out maxis in my building but too bad only support time which we generally think is bad.
My maxis fiber always cut on and off recently..it been going about 2weeks now,I stay around kl.. does any maxis fiber user experience the same thing as I did?🤔
Mine was only 1 time. Saw TM technicians dug 2 feet hole tried to replace the fibre cable down the hill from my house. Apparently there's more risk of fibre cut occurrence if you are living nearby area that has a lot of developments and constructions.
I have switched from Unifi to Maxis Home Fibre, but BTS, Maxis is actually running on Unifi's infra. During my switching from Unifi, Maxis do checked with me whether area does have Unifi's coverage. In the first itself, my Maxis connection was having problems and when I escalate to Maxis, I was told that they will inform Unifi to check on my port status. So it is one and the same thing to me .
its under TM actually, all fibre under TM, maxis and Unifi is just reseller but Unifi have more privilege , because Unifi under TM directly

hi, my suggestion is you walk in to tmpoint, ask to staff want to stay with Unifi package. but you must finish your contract first. this package make more discount example 100mbps rm79... 300mbps rm119

Hi Lim, Just wondering before this I used unifi 300mbps and able to get max speed around 315mbps then I jump to maxis fiber with the same speed since Im a maxis postpaid user for such a long time. Why not i utilise the real benefit that maxis can offer to me which is unlimited quota for both postpaid and fiber. Unfortunately my fiber speed can't even reach 300mbps and only reach around 280+ mbps only. Is it normal? Hahahaha

basically cheaper than unifi base on the speed package it offer. currently i using 100mbps for RM99 where they give RM30 discount for 1 year promotion
At my area, 100Mbps and below is basically the same as Unifi. But I think they give you a great WiFi 6 router with 100Mbps plan or higher. 300Mbps, Maxis Home Fiber is cheaper than Unifi but at the cost of not getting Unifi's IPTV service. If you don't use IPTV, that's a great saving by not paying for a service you aren't using.
Like I said, Maxis gives you a great WiFi 6 router. Mine has a great coverage range around 3 to 5 single storey terrace houses. No issue that requires restarting so far since using beginning from March this year.
Tbh maxis’s speed is much much better than unifi, m using 100mbps

Maxis fibre sucks. Changed to Time and its so much more stable . Remember, faster speed does not mean its stable. Even nowadays Maxis mobile data is not that good anymore.
What a silly thing to say, so many factors to consider. So I dont think you can speak for them, just your "individual" experience. Like with eveything, some people will have issues.
