I’ve got training in about 3hrs…still relatively new to the sport..but I plan to implement this on my heavy bag work today..slowing things down a little and treating the heavy bag like an opponent (finding range, mixing things up, head movement, punching with a purpose, etc)..so, thank you…
I would like to see Ngannou reach out to you. I was surprised and impressed by his performance.
What I love about this, apart from the technical aspect, is the habit of mental focus it develops, to stay mentally engaged for the entire round, which is essential in the ring and as much in need of training, if not more, as the physical side. Great stuff.

why is he not moving around the bag so much? Is it not better to train to round, and ciculate around the heavy bags when training than attacking from the same side all of the time? if no need to circulate the heavy bag then one could just have a wall-mounted bag with pads in a corner? or am I wrong... I think circulating the bag should be something one does all the time, but maybe I am missing something here?
