V was generally disappointing coming from ACFA. It did have a lot of new things, and a lot of those were great additions, but the heavy focus on multiplayer, the reduced movement capabilities, the scan mode being so integral to maintaining movement, and weird movement tech that was needed for higher level pvp really hurt it. ACVD was significantly better, but still suffered the same issues.
@@mamoruyoshiro9610 weapon arms are "weapon" arms they basically remove your hands for weapons instead which brings your potential weapon count from 5 to 3 as your typical 5th Gen load out is 4 guns 1 shoulder unit or 2 guns 1 ultimate weapon/overed weapon + shoulder to 2 spare weapons and 1 weapon arm, your shoulder "depends" cause its an "inside" and "extension" unit packaged into 1 part which means it can store a magazine, an auto attack gun, a targeting lock on computer, missiles, rockets, bomb dispensers also I need to clarify all weapons arms have no shoulder weapon slot

weapon arms are only implemented in VD which is still a weird design choice...
