AT NOBO 2024 - ZERO day in Fort Montgomery, NY (mi. 1409.9)

Fort Montgomery, NY (mi. 1410) The Bear Mountain Bridge motel was an awesome place to take a zero … many food choices a close walk away, and really clean and comfortable rooms. As with most places, unfortunately on the trail, their Internet wasn’t up to par, but I walked down the road to a Holiday Inn and Suites and asked a guest what their Wi-Fi password was, and hung out there and uploaded my videos in their lobby 😆
Tomorrow we are looking to hike about 18 or 20 miles to a campground that has showers and other amenities, it’s going to be cool because I will be hiking through a section that I did back in 2016 when I was in New York over a weekend for training. It looks like we will be in Connecticut on Tuesday sometime. It will be awesome to be back in we England 🙌🏻
Looking forward to a great nights sleep tonight, I kept from myself from napping during the day so I would be extra tired tonight ha ha!
Todays menu: Large bag of peanuts, 1 liter of ginger ale, bacon egg & cheese bagel sandwich, bottle of orange juice, bottle of ginger ale, bowl of home fries, bag of peanut M&Ms, strawberry ice cream bar, ice cream sundae cone, pint of Metric Pilsner beer, huge house salad, 10 bone in wings, pint of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream, a honey stinger waffle, BBQ slider sampler, steamed broccoli, potato salad, and water.
