Ninh explains - The Rules of Ten Pin Bowling. A lot of people asked for this one, even though I was sure that everyone knew the rules of this sport already. And before anyone asks, I will not be doing a video on Candlepin bowling, Duckpin Bowling, 9 Pin bowling (or any variant thereof), Lawn Bowls, Crown Green Bowling, Flat Green Bowling, Petanque, Boules, Bocce or any other variation of bowling for that matter. It’s just not worth the time compared to the amount of views I’m getting.
Need more practice dude. If you can string together a few spares (which is easily doable) that'll take you over the 100 mark. My best ever score was 236, with a run of 6 strikes in a row. Totally messed up the last frame though.
1. It will always amaze me how professional bowlers are able to make that curve. 2. I came here mainly to see how strikes and spares are calculated. I never could figure it out.
Hi Nicholas. 1) It's actually quite simple. If you watch carefully, they spin the ball like a bullet (or an American Football spiral). When the oil runs dry, the ball 'grabs' onto the dry part of the lane and the ball starts to change direction. It'll take you a while to develop this yourself, but once you get the knack of it, you never forget how to do it! 2) Yes, isn't it easy if someone explains it to you?! Thanks for stopping by.
Another way to explain it: 1. If you get a spare, the first ball of your next frame counts double. 2. If you get a strike, both balls of your next frame count double. If your next frame is also a strike, it counts double but the first ball of the subsequent frame counts triple, while the second ball counts double. 3. If you get a spare or a strike on Frame 10, since there is no next frame you get extra shots (1 for a spare, 2 for a strike) but they count single. On consecutive strikes on Frames 9 and 10, your first extra shot counts double. I know this is not the "kosher" way of computing scores frame by frame, but when it comes to computing the final score this method arrives at the same result.
I’ve been Bowling for 10 Years (while currently still a League Bowler since 2019, well except I’m retired for now due to COVID shut down my local shopping mall Bowling Center here in the Philippines for one and a half year) and this is one of the best videos I’ve seen all about Bowling, not like those clickbait videos or videos from people teaching how to play Bowling like a Casual and not like a Pro. Keep up the good work tho.
It took me awhile to learn ten pin bowling since I started with the five pin game which is still played here in Canada. Fortunately modern technology in the scoring system replaces those old annoying score sheets. 😀
I like how much changes in a year - seeing as you've now done Crown Green and Lawn Bowls in the series too. I tend to already know a lot of these sports already, but love watching them and to see how to best explain how sports work to interested friends rather than get stuck down rabbit holes. Great work Ninh, great content as always.
Yes, I really do. I'm shocked that I've not increased that much in the 6 months I've been back here. Very disheartening at times. Thanks for commenting though, I appreciate that!
Although I've known how to play this game pretty much my entire life, I watched it anyway because why the hell not? The best game I've ever bowled is a 223. One game of which you should explain the rules: bocce ball (AKA Italian bowling). Just a thought for one in the future.
My best ever score was 236, with a run of 6 strikes in a row. Totally messed up the last frame though., otherwise it would be 250+ As mentioned in the top comment - no other variations of bowling will be covered - cannot justify the effort for the amount of views I'm getting.
excellent vid for newbies. people starting out bowling that then take it on as a hobby need vids like this. will definitely recommend this to anyone looking to understand the rules better! excellent video my man.
This is very helpful. I like that the PBA put blue die in the oil. It makes it more enjoyable. I general I wish more people knew the rules to bowling. I think it would make it more enjoyable to play, since most people don't know what is going on when they play bowling.
Hey Danny K! Yeah, I was really impressed with the blue dye added to the PBA telecasts. It really shows how the oil dries up even over the course of a few games, and how bowlers make the adjustments. I have to agree with you on the rules. A lot of people go to a lane, have no idea what the scoring is or even where to bowl the ball on a lane. Shame really ... if only they knew?!
Thanks for your informative video of scoring methods and other things in ten pin bowling. However, nowadays, Weber Cup has been required to introduce a new scoring method (Alternative Method) (i) The Open Frame is the same as the method described in the video, while the spare and the strike is different. (ii) If you get a strike, you will directly get 30 marks directly (Therefore the 10th Frame no longer has 3 balls) (iii) If you get a spare, you will get 10 marks plus the first shot marks (For example 9 /=19 Marks)
Awesome video. I think part of bowling's appeal in the world is the fact that anyone can play, and most players have a relaxed look when they play. Great vid, Ninh. Did you know there's also a Canadian variant called 5-pin, and a variety in the US New England States named Candlepin bowling? It'd be nice to do videos of those two variants of bowling. Cheers! :D
Thanks again bro. I'm fully aware of those variants - but if you read the top comment - you'll know that I have no plans to cover any other forms of bowling.
Ah Pete Webber ... what a guy. I ended up hating him at first, but he grew on me. My fave's are Parker Bohn III and Mike Barnes - mainly for their flawless technique. I've got a long way to go.
Hi Jeff. Thanks for the comment. And yes, I deserve more than the number of views and subscribers than I've got now. I'm perplexed as to why this hasn't taken off.
Thank you for putting this together. I am bowling in my first league game in a few hours..I'm going to be a 'fill in' for a player that's missing tonight. What I'd like to see is a video that goes over the actual rules a player follows..like how lanes are alternated with teams, etiquette, rules on the balls, shoes, handicaps, etc. Online I'm having a hard time finding all this stuff. I bowl regularly every Friday for fun with the wife and I'm pretty decent (about a 190-200 average most nights). But with a well oiled lane compared to what I'm used to (random, low or high oil content) it may prove to be difficult to adjust in just a game or two.
Thanks. Obviously this is a beginners video to teach the rules on how to play the sport to a complete beginner who doesn't know what it is. Procedural stuff like how lanes are altered vary wildly between leagues and countries, and does not form part of the rules on how to actually play the game. I suggest just asking around your local league ... everyone has to start somewhere.
Overall, very informative. However, i find it funny that you omitted the baker format, despite using a considerable amount of footage from the Dallas Strikers’ 300 game, which was bowled using Baker format. In a Baker game, you have five bowlers, who all bowl two frames, frames apart. For example, one person might bowl frames 1 and 6, or 2 and 7. It is more common than doubles, and, you almost never see games of three or four by comparison.
I appreciate that. I know what it is, but I didn't want to confuse a complete beginner of that by being overly detailed on format. I'd rather they know how the game is scored! Thanks for the suggestion, much appreciated.
hi Ninh nice video as always. Have you ever considered a full series about the history of lesser known sports? I feel it would marry well with your format.
Hi Rajiv. Not really. I find that people don't particularly care about the history of various sports and if they do, they're quick to tell you why you're wrong (even if you're reporting fact). So it's not worth my time to do it in reality.
Ninh Ly Because you should talk about the tactics and controls! You could say: 'For boxing, you have to use the Wii remote and nunchuck and the best way to win is to swing your arms incessantly.'
Hi. This is Karin Kanzuki's theme from Capcom's Street Fighter V. For future reference, I quote my music in the end screen at the end of the video, and the description as well.
Hi Gabriel. Yes, every lane is oiled - but most of the time you can't see it. The PBA decided to add blue dye to it's oil so that you can see it on TV (as in the video), but generally the oil is clear. And each lane is oiled differently, so you might want to check with your local bowling alley what sort of oil pattern they use. Hope that helps?
Ninh Ly ahh ok I'll have to keep that in mind next time I go bowling so I can gain an advantage of my friends😈 and also make sure I don't try to walk down the lane😂
I kind of explain the scoring in bowling near the beginning of the video? Glad you like this video. Subscribe and check out my channel for more like this :)
I know that if any part of the foot goes past the line to the actual alley lane on the follow-through on a bowl, that's a foul. But what if any other part of the body crosses the line into the alley itself? Is that also a foul?
Why didn't you explain the rules of etiquette (also known as common manners). Too many people keep moving onto my lane just before I bowl and others cut in front of me before I bowl. I'm sure you can't do anything now, but if you ever make an updated version, please include these rules. Thanks for reading this (if you did) and keep up the good work.
To calculate the value of a frame with a spare in it, add ten points to the immediate throw's pinfall value that follows then add that sum to the value of the previous frame. If a spare is followed by a strike, it's worth 20 points. To calculate the value of a frame with a strike in it, add ten points to the pinfall value of the immediate combined two throws that follow then add that sum to the value of the previous frame . A strike can be worth up to 30 points if two consecutive strikes follow. If a strike is followed by a spare (two combined throws in the following two-box frame) or (if a strike in the first box of the 10th frame is followed by by two throws combining to make a spare in the second and third boxes of the 10th frame) it is worth 20 points. Remember: strike = 10 + next two throws spare = 10 + next one throw Question How does a foot fault or fowl affect a bowling score according to bowling rules?
You did forget to mention the 5 player team version called Baker, where 5 players rotate every frame (bowler A bowls frames 1/6, B 2/7, etc. to E, or the anchor, bowls 5/10). Brings a whole new level of difficulty in to the sport.
Slight correction. Yes with the scoring you get two chances to knock down as many pins as you can in a single frame, except for the last frame depending on how well you score in that frame. For example if you either get a strike or a spare in that frame , you either get two more throws in the case of a strike or one more throw in the case of a spare.
It’s called the Pinsetter, there are different types of pinsetters, in this case that Pinsetter on the PBA Firelake Tournament of Champions is called the “GS-X”, it was made by Brunswick that was the longest Bowling company.
Duck pin bowling and candle pin bowling have you to bowl 3 shots but in candle pin bowling the pins will be still there and you can use it as a advantage
Generally, the lanes in the same building will be oiled exactly the same - a general house pattern that makes it easy to hook the ball. There are a few buildings that will oil individual lanes differently, but these are the ones that cater to pro bowlers. Not the typical ones that you and I go to.
Oiling the lanes is expensive, I know of one house that for extra fee will lay down pro style pattern (much more difficult to score than regular house pattern).
The first time I ever got a strike in the last frame I wondered why the game didn’t end. At first I thought it was broken but I quickly figured out what was going on
I don't think so ... but I'm fairly sure you'l break your arm way before the ball crosses the foul line. These things are huge and weigh 16 lbs. Trying to pitch a bowling ball is a seriously bad idea.
I could have mentioned a lot of other things. But this isn't a video that explains the nuances of different leagues. This is a video that explains the rules of Ten Pin bowling as a whole - that someone plays at their local bowling alley.
Wrong. The bowling lane is longer than 60 feet. 60 feet is the distance from the foul line to the center of the head pin. The actual length is closer to 63 feet (62 ft 10 & 3/16 in). Source: bowl.com/uploadedFiles/Equipment_Specs/Information/2012FebESManualWEBINTERACTIVE.pdf, page 27
RJTheDirtRacer 352 No it is not, nine pin came before Ten Pin, and the game has been played as far back as 300 BC and I assume they didn’t have these rules back then
Another thing you should mention is how professional bowling balls differ from the ones you find at your local center. Rental bowling balls, known as house balls, are made of plastic with a round core, and they don't really hook at all. Not compared to professional-grade balls. Professional-grade balls have their outer shells made of something called "reactive resin" or "urethane" (urethane is better for playing the outside parts of lanes). These substances have been scientifically engineered to increase the bowling ball's traction on the lane, but the thing is, every formula is different depending on the ball, because of skill levels. There are also weight cores in various designs that distribute the weight unevenly to help the ball curve more. This article should show you some different weight core designs: www.popsci.com/story/technology/bowling-ball-insides-photos/
Whilst a high rev rate is advantageous to knock down pins (i.e. Jason Belmonte) players with a lower rev rate can score just as well. If you really want an eye opener - check out the 'helicopter spinner' technique as used by Asian Bowlers.
Agreed. His general miserable demeanour is a real buzzkill. My faves are Parker Bohn III and Chris Barnes - mainly because those two have textbook flawless technique.

Cheers for this, I been tryin to find out about "how to make a bowling ball hook less" for a while now, and I think this has helped. You ever tried - Piylivern Remarkable Predominance - (search on google ) ? It is a smashing one of a kind guide for discovering how to up your bowling game quickly without the hard work. Ive heard some amazing things about it and my neighbour got amazing results with it.
Just wonderful, I've been looking for "how to get more pin action in bowling" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever come across - Piylivern Remarkable Predominance - (should be on google have a look ) ? It is a great one of a kind product for discovering how to up your bowling game quickly without the hard work. Ive heard some unbelievable things about it and my mate got great results with it.

Ninh Ly Well done, as always.

Ninh Ly Can you do a video on competitive shooting
1. It will always amaze me how professional bowlers are able to make that curve.

Benoit Blanchard - I preferred my explanation. Way simpler to explain to a complete beginner. But yes, it arrives at the same result.
I always thought the spares and Strikes were calculated with the previous one or two frames.
If you get the ball drilled to your fingertips (not house ball) the ball will spin pretty much on it's own.
3rd time bowling consistly (once a week) and today I scored a 156 and 147. Super stoked to be getting better each time!
I’ve watched about 20 videos to explain scoring and this was the only one that helped. Thank you.
Thanks man. Just saw a f book post by a mate, and know very little about the game till now.
It took me awhile to learn ten pin bowling since I started with the five pin game which is still played here in Canada. Fortunately modern technology in the scoring system replaces those old annoying score sheets. 😀
Absolutely! Having to work out the scores yourself kinda sucks.
But after a while, you can calculate it in your head anyway.
Ninh Ly I’ve been doing bowling for awhile now, so I could just know the score without the automatic technology.
I like how much changes in a year - seeing as you've now done Crown Green and Lawn Bowls in the series too. I tend to already know a lot of these sports already, but love watching them and to see how to best explain how sports work to interested friends rather than get stuck down rabbit holes. Thanks Michael, much appreciated.
As stated in my top comment, I wasn't planning on making one - but it's more of a tribute to a fallen friend.
Great Video and thanks for clear explanation. Love from India
Glad it was helpful!
I requested this and you delivered! Bloody legend. You deserve more than 25K subs 😊
Nikko Doan He just literally pinned (no pun intended) that he won't be covering bocce ball.
My best ever score was 236, with a run of 6 strikes in a row. Totally messed up the last frame though., otherwise it would be 250+
As mentioned in the top comment - no other variations of bowling will be covered - cannot justify the effort for the amount of views I'm getting.
My highest is 231
excellent vid for newbies. people starting out bowling that then take it on as a hobby need vids like this. will definitely recommend this to anyone looking to understand the rules better!
excellent video my man.
Thanks! I appreciate that!
Stop the cap
The blue oil looks really cool but i am aware that it destroys cloths, stains balls, and even the pins and pinsetter equipment
Wow that was VERY helpful!
Thanks for your informative video of scoring methods and other things in ten pin bowling.
However, nowadays, Weber Cup has been required to introduce a new scoring method (Alternative Method)
(i) The Open Frame is the same as the method described in the video, while the spare and the strike is different.
(ii) If you get a strike, you will directly get 30 marks directly (Therefore the 10th Frame no longer has 3 balls)
(iii) If you get a spare, you will get 10 marks plus the first shot marks (For example 9 /=19 Marks)
Love the capcom music
Thank you! Your videos are short, simple, and straight to the point. They are perfect for sharing with my elementary students.
Thanks Oscar, glad you like my videos!
Great video
Great vid, now I can watch the Sky Sports coverage and understand what this all means.
Awesome! I think Sky Sports covers the Weber Cup which is held in (of all places) Barnsley!
Be sure to check out my other sports video.
Brings me back to when I bowled as a kid. Didn't know they oiled the lanes. Just thought they waxed them daily. Awesome video
Thanks Jorge!
Please tell me your joking
Awesome video. I think part of bowling's appeal in the world is the fact that anyone can play, and most players have a relaxed look when they play.
Great vid, Ninh. Did you know there's also a Canadian variant called 5-pin, and a variety in the US New England States named Candlepin bowling? It'd be nice to do videos of those two variants of bowling. Cheers! :D
Thanks again bro.
I'm fully aware of those variants - but if you read the top comment - you'll know that I have no plans to cover any other forms of bowling.
Pete Webber "WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE I AM"
Ah Pete Webber ... what a guy. I ended up hating him at first, but he grew on me. My fave's are Parker Bohn III and Mike Barnes - mainly for their flawless technique. I've got a long way to go.
Mike Barnes? Did you mean chris?
The hardest hitting 145er in the ufc.
Me: A classic boomer
Great video!
Thanks Carlos, much appreciated.
*Street Fighter 5's Karin Kanzuki music* is playing in background 🎼🎵🎶
thank you for the video, I was researching the rules and namigs for a project, and I had no idea that there is oil on the lanes, and all the details
Glad it was helpful!
Looks interesting. Also I heard and know about Canadian five pin bowling. Can you please explain the rules of Canadian five pin bowling?
Diggin this Gameboy type music haha :D
Hi Alex. I do use computer game music for my sports videos. However, they're mainly from fighting games like Tekken and Street Fighter V.
Another awesome video Ninh! You're by far one of the most underrated users on this site.
Hi Jeff. Thanks for the comment. And yes, I deserve more than the number of views and subscribers than I've got now. I'm perplexed as to why this hasn't taken off.
You ever thought about advertising?
I try social media and stuff ... but I'm relying on other people helping me share my videos. Something that hasn't really happened. Have any ideas?
Maybe make a 15 second advertisement on UA-cam?
Don't know how much more views that would get me. I think it'd cost more money than it'd bring in.
I’m doing a single and doubles tournament this week
Cool, hope this helps?
Thanks,Helped a lot!
Cool, glad this video helps you out.
check out my channel for more like this :)
Thank you for putting this together. I am bowling in my first league game in a few hours..I'm going to be a 'fill in' for a player that's missing tonight.

Stop the cap
Do the rules of Wii Sports next.
Firstly: no.
Secondly, Wii sports contains 5 sports, all of which I've covered in separate videos.
So .... why?!
Ninh Ly Because you should talk about the tactics and controls! You could say: 'For boxing, you have to use the Wii remote and nunchuck and the best way to win is to swing your arms incessantly.'
Isn't that true of every game on Wii?
Ninh Ly Yeah, fair point!
Ninh Ly r/woooosh
I am interest in the background music you used in this video, can you give me the name of the BGM,thx a lot?
Hi. This is Karin Kanzuki's theme from Capcom's Street Fighter V.
For future reference, I quote my music in the end screen at the end of the video, and the description as well.
So in a public bowling alley is there oil on the lanes or do they only have it in professional bowling?
All lanes have oiled, but PBA have published official patterns to make the games more consistent, without the lane advantages.
Ninh Ly ahh ok I'll have to keep that in mind next time I go bowling so I can gain an advantage of my friends😈 and also make sure I don't try to walk down the lane😂
Gabriel Maric In normal bowling alley, the oil pattern is random. In professional bowling, the pattern is chosen from official pattern list.
This is very useful especially for my upcoming date with my GF. She thinks she can beat me.. we’ll see about that 😃
Me here just before my machine coding round where I have to design a code for this, wish me best luck
Good luck.
Nice information brother for beginers. But also make a video on how score is calculate in bowling
I kind of explain the scoring in bowling near the beginning of the video?
Glad you like this video. Subscribe and check out my channel for more like this :)
I was wanting this because I went bowling today.
Good, I hope you did great! Remember, stringing up spares and strikes scores highly!
I love bowling
I know that if any part of the foot goes past the line to the actual alley lane on the follow-through on a bowl, that's a foul. But what if any other part of the body crosses the line into the alley itself? Is that also a foul?
Why didn't you explain the rules of etiquette (also known as common manners). Too many people keep moving onto my lane just before I bowl and others cut in front of me before I bowl. I'm sure you can't do anything now, but if you ever make an updated version, please include these rules. Thanks for reading this (if you did) and keep up the good work.
They aren't really rules on how to play the sport of bowling, so I wouldn't explain stuff like that.
But thanks!
very well explained.
Thanks man.
well explained.
Thanks bro!
Remember:
strike = 10 + next two throws
spare = 10 + next one throw
Question
How does a foot fault or fowl affect a bowling score according to bowling rules?
I preferred my explanation better.
Foot foul - you score zero for that throw (but it counts to the score), pins are reset to previous positions.
You did forget to mention the 5 player team version called Baker, where 5 players rotate every frame (bowler A bowls frames 1/6, B 2/7, etc. to E, or the anchor, bowls 5/10). Brings a whole new level of difficulty in to the sport.
I didn't forget, I didn't want to confuse a complete beginner about varying formats of games.
It technically isn't a rule of bowling, its a format.
Ninh Ly it's more that you mentioned 4 player team formats. Love your work regardless.
Thanks bro.
Unexpected theme. Great selection
Thanks.
I learned about that oil the hard way (I crossed the line when I released the ball)
That's how most people realise about oil on the lanes!
This music making it look like a Core-A Gaming video

Why not?
Bruh I was wondering why nobody else was talking about it XD
woah this made me so much better at bowling
Cool.
so THAT'S what "open frame" means
Yeah, it's where they don't score 10 with their two balls. Really ruins your score!
Slight correction. Yes with the scoring you get two chances to knock down as many pins as you can in a single frame, except for the last frame depending on how well you score in that frame. For example if you either get a strike or a spare in that frame , you either get two more throws in the case of a strike or one more throw in the case of a spare.
What thing replace the pin in bowling?
A machine called a 'pin setter'.
Ummm?
When you say different lanes have different oil patterns, do you mean even the 12 lanes that are within the same bowling hall are oiled differently?
Generally, the lanes in the same building will be oiled exactly the same - a general house pattern that makes it easy to hook the ball.
There are a few buildings that will oil individual lanes differently, but these are the ones that cater to pro bowlers. Not the typical ones that you and I go to.
Oiling the lanes is expensive, I know of one house that for extra fee will lay down pro style pattern (much more difficult to score than regular house pattern).
I tried playing bowling professionally i avg a 205 per game but there are players better than that
Sweet! Good job, a 205 average is nothing to sniff at. I'd love to have that.
I want to be good at bowling too impress everybody
Fair enough.
Bowling is great! I'm a Beginner Bowler.
Cool, glad you like the video.
Don’t leave out the turkey!!!!
Whilst technically not a rule, probably yeah.
I have WII Sports and I always thought that the best way to knock down all pins was to throw the ball straight into the middle pin
The first time I ever got a strike in the last frame I wondered why the game didn’t end. At first I thought it was broken but I quickly figured out what was going on
A lot of people who play bowling regularly still can't figure out the scoring. Once it's explained to you, it's easy to calculate.
Is there a group that enforces bowling rules? Any wiggle room to reprogram the computers to play and score it differently?
I'm not sure about that. The current scoring system is widely accepted, so any changes to that are probably unlikely.
Whos your favorites? Mine is probably Jesper Svensson becsuse he bowls like me
Oooh, good question. Parker Bohn III (he's a lefty like me), Norm Duke (just because it's Norm) and Chris Barnes for the flawless technique.
Ninh Ly Yay lefties
Ninh Ly Or maybe Pete Weber
Ayy cousin
Hey bro.
Give me your opinion. I say 5 pin is harder to get a perfect game than 10 pin. Thoughts?
Am I the only on in the comment section that got here because of cringe P.E teachers?
Anyone had this assigned for Gym Class for online homework?
Just you so far!
Yes 😅
yup
Street fighter v
Are there any rules against throwing a bowling ball like you do a baseball?
I don't think so ... but I'm fairly sure you'l break your arm way before the ball crosses the foul line. These things are huge and weigh 16 lbs. Trying to pitch a bowling ball is a seriously bad idea.
Great. Lets play bowling
Fun times!
The one thing you didn't mention is that the PBA uses 2 lanes instead of 1.
I could have mentioned a lot of other things.
But this isn't a video that explains the nuances of different leagues.
This is a video that explains the rules of Ten Pin bowling as a whole - that someone plays at their local bowling alley.
The music is distracting and annoying at the same time, but the information, in my opinion is solid
Each to their own about the music. But thanks.
You are welcome, cheers!
Wrong. The bowling lane is longer than 60 feet. 60 feet is the distance from the foul line to the center of the head pin. The actual length is closer to 63 feet (62 ft 10 & 3/16 in). Source: bowl.com/uploadedFiles/Equipment_Specs/Information/2012FebESManualWEBINTERACTIVE.pdf, page 27
In current frame scoring, perfect game is 10 strikes in a row.
Do 5-Pin next!
I'm not sure anybody would watch that.
Sound off, who is here because of gym.
🎉
Would have been nice to mention something about bowling leagues in there
Leagues isn't a rule on how to play the game, although having said that, it's an interesting side note for sure.
Thank you. It's just Bowling.
Thanks. But there's many forms of Bowling, this being the most popular.
Ninh Ly thanks. XD. It's my bowling XD. And this is the original bowling.
Ninh Ly I'm glad you count it as a sport not just a family game night game.
RJTheDirtRacer 352 No it is not, nine pin came before Ten Pin, and the game has been played as far back as 300 BC and I assume they didn’t have these rules back then
i cant bowl my hands are too small
The part about spares is unclear
You didn't explain the rules. You missed the first point.
Three strikes in a row is called a turkey
I didn't want to go into the terminology as this is not a rule on how to play bowling.
Ay yo who else here cause of Mr.Pinto
Just you so far?
Came here after watching The Big Lebowski😁
Cool film, thanks for stopping by.
Ninh Ly You're welcome, your videos are really fun to watch and very educational.
Well basically we need a high rev to knock all the pins down
Whilst a high rev rate is advantageous to knock down pins (i.e. Jason Belmonte) players with a lower rev rate can score just as well. If you really want an eye opener - check out the 'helicopter spinner' technique as used by Asian Bowlers.
Ninh Ly wait what? Jason is a high rev rate player as well as Sean Rash
That's what I said. Or to paraphrase 'high rev rate such as Jason Belmonte'. Sean Rash ... meh, not a fan of him.
Ninh Ly yeah ikr he’s so annoying
Agreed. His general miserable demeanour is a real buzzkill.
My faves are Parker Bohn III and Chris Barnes - mainly because those two have textbook flawless technique.
Queen hope dance and dance enjoy happiness hangovers alot of work in research, and political, business robots barbie angel work 12377777 class good Jéhovah, light computaa, God is the same yesterday today and forever 2212021
This is the type of game that beginners can compete with pros😂
You can compete. But doing it well is a different story.
Candle pin bowling!!!!
Will Cooper Ninh already said that's not going to happen.
Ron is right ... you should really read the top comment before you suggest something.
I like 5pin better. You got more Point sorry
Almost nobody plays that!
You missed The Turkey
A Turkey is when you get 3 strikes in a row
I didn't miss it - that's just terminology. It has nothing to do with how to play the game of ten pin.
@@NinhLyUK oh wow you replied to me
Yes. I tend to do that sometimes.
Bocce?
Read the top comment.
Ninh Ly fair point
