That part of the Colombian rooftop chase scene cracked me up when you boundary broke it, just seeing those agents chasing a young Nate down on a rooftop only for him to enter meditating pose and ascend to the heavens and having to explain that to their boss.
Drake is meditating to achieve nirvana outside the map. Extend his mind to understand that he is just character in the game, just a puppet controlled by humooon being
Dude, you need more tags in your video. Like, "Uncharted Secrets" or "Uncharted gameplay". Having one tag just isn't good for the algorithm and you deserve your videos getting more hits.
UA-cam's algorithm doesn't take tag into consideration to the same level that it did in the past. They're almost pointless to put much thought into now.
Not sure where else to put this, but I think the reason they lifted the cruise ship out of the water during the flooding/escape sequence is because ND created a procedural ocean for that level. This means that the waves are randomized in order to make seem more natural, for lack of a better explanation. So, probably due to the more intensely scripted nature of the escape sequence and how the random-ness of the waves and boat rocking would screw around with that, the devs did the most logical thing they could think of, which was to lift the entire ship out of the ocean. Lol that's using your noodle!
The part where Sully’s mirage helps Drake up and then just disappears gives me shivers. There’s something about mind fucks and eerie shit like that in games and films which I really like.
The amount of detail in this game is amazing, definitely one of my favorite series. Still need to finish Uncharted 4 before I watch the boundry break for that
Thank you so much for these videos although I wish if they were a bit longer. I really wanted to see what was inside the EL Dorado before the mummy comes out of it in the cutscene in U1. Keep up the great work!!
Mate, I just wanna go back to super mario galaxy and rewatch all of your old videos like they are new again. I’m so glad that I discovered you so early to adventure so many games with you. Onward and upward. You are a real inspiration, keep going, you are brilliant.
Thank you for all these videos. Seeing these games at all kinds of different angles is fascinating and really shows how they were made. I find it incredible what all is done to create the elaborate illusion of vast space and detail! You're one of my favorite content creators on this site. Keep up the fantastic work!
Small correction at 1:34 - that's not ambient lighting, at least not in video-game terms. Ambient lighting is soft, non-localized lighting that is typically the result from many different light sources all bouncing around a room (added by a computer to simulate that effect).
I love boundary breaks of video games and Uncharted series has the most impressive environment designs ever. I am hoping and praying that you could boundary break Uncharted 4 soon. Thanks in advance.
Imagine you’re kidnapping someone, and you’re threatening them, and then they suddenly go into a meditation pose and fly up into to air and go through the walls and out the building at sufficiently high speeds
Had probably 500+ hours in U3 multiplayer, learned a few glitches on the MP maps so it was cool to watch this video. There was a glitch in co-op where the Drake npc spawned in genie pose, always cracked me up.
I reallly like that freako is shoving himself in these videos and having fun with the people talking about his art career. I think him and shesez make a great partner ship with these quality videos!
Omg, I was just searching for this yesterday after going back and watching the U2 & U1 videos, thought that this was never going to come out but I was just a day early! Thank you to both you and Freako for showing off camera secrets in my favourite gaming franchise!
FINALLY! I already asked about Uncharted 4 when your Uncharted 2 Episode came out and asked about it again on your Crash Bandicoot stream. Glad to see this episode!
by FAR the most interesting part was right at the end looking over the city at night, shame it was a bit rushed in places and subjectively put together. I would honestly love to see these videos be even longer, with more time spent doing exploration. I've been watching your vids from the start, and I love your commentary, but it wouldn't really matter if it couldn't be a gap-filler for longer videos.
I love this channel but the episodes have become so fast paced. I feel like I need to watch the video at half speed to have time to appreciate the detail you're providing for us.
I WAS LITERALLY PLAYING UNCHARTED 4 YESTERDAY AND TOLD MY BROTHER I HOPE SHESEZ DOES AN EPISODE OF BOUNDARY BREAK ON UNCHARTED 3.... You really came through. Also thanks for doing that bit with Vinesauce Vinny on Smash Bros... You wanting to show Binyot your Super Mario Bros. Toad voice was the most incredible, wholesome thing to me. It also wasn't bad 🤣 I just wanted to say, thanks again for the Boundary Break episodes, these cutting room floor types of things in video games and boundary breaking in general has always been a special interest of mine. I try to break every game I play, since I can remember, just to see if I can't go out of bounds or find weird glitches. Salud!
Tbh the music is making me kind of emotional bc it brings me back to 8th grade playing Uncharted 3 multiplayer, before high school, or working, or college application stress, not a care in the world except for beating Abduction bc that mission was hard af
Core memory unlocked: London at night looks almost exactly like old Flight Simulator games I used to watch my father play as a kid. I'd say late 90's to very early 00's.
You should make "where we basically take the camera.... anywhere we want and we try to find secrets to some of our favorite games" quote to return since I always get hyped up hearing you say that every time(and you haven't said that in a while so I hope it returns)
Another great episode. Love this game, so great to see it's secrets like this. Wish they were longer. Maybe a extended/cut scene sort of thing? Either way, keep up the great work.
Seeing Nathan Fillion.... erm Nathan Drake going absolute Zen Mode and floating through walls is so dang amazing that it almost trumps the rest of a truly great video. #MeditateToLevitate
3:27 "enviroment almost looks like its straight out of a PS2 game" High praise indeed a ps3 game almost reaching the high standarads of ps2 graphics XD
Daniel Rieger You missed his point. Shesez said that this PS3 game has great detail and was praising it while saying it almost looks like a PS2 game, which is far behind the PS3 in terms of graphics.
I remember I once sequence broke uncharted 2 where some rubble was supposed to fall down and block my path. Somehow that never happened and I was able to walk back anyway, the level was never rendered back. Then I fell into an infinite abyss and died haha.
Gotta say. That the english word for "Fata Morgana" is "Mirage" somewhat shocked me. I'm from germany and "Fata Morgana" is such an odd out there word I assumed it would some international thing based on something arabic or egyptian. I was completely wrong appearantly. Congratulations, Shesez. Yet another Boundary broken. ;)
My parents were watching X-Files as I was watching this and with the part with young Sully teleporting the X-Files theme started playing and I thought it was in the video
It’s like the developers knew this game would be boundary broken and made the most hilarious pose for it. I bet they were laughing their heads off in the studio
1.28 Sully: "hurry up, this way!". Drake: "Silly Sully, I'll just tap in my connection to Buddha with my meditation an use my new powers to fly away from the police."
As someone who is currently learning to program for fun, I appreciate these videos, seeing some tricks that game developers use. Are there any other channels with similar content in regards to tricks developers use? Keep up the good work. You definately deserve more subscribers :)
Console game graphics are quite fascinating as with limited power they pull this much out with that cell processor. The culling is strategically placed too and reminds me of Source maps that I make.
Great working with you on another episode. That's all I got, folks.
Uncharted 4 episode will be handled by: ua-cam.com/users/Thekempy
Check him out!
Wait, Freako? THE Freako??? Okay, I wasn't expecting to see you there, but anyways, nice work for the episode Freako!
Oh I know him!!!
Freako you are one of the best debug UA-camrs I've seen before man. Congrats for having that many subs bro.
Freako where can I find the debugs that are used bro? I want em so badly, so I can do what you do just like you man.
gr8 job as always, dude
There's something inherently hilarious in Nathan going full yogi out of nowhere
That part of the Colombian rooftop chase scene cracked me up when you boundary broke it, just seeing those agents chasing a young Nate down on a rooftop only for him to enter meditating pose and ascend to the heavens and having to explain that to their boss.
Corey Anderson guards: So um boss we were chasing that kid and he kinda just meditated and flew into heaven so yeah.
Boss: WTF.
Drake is meditating to achieve nirvana outside the map. Extend his mind to understand that he is just character in the game, just a puppet controlled by humooon being
The first clip gave me a little chuckle. When you wanna knock some guy out but meditation comes first.
I guess the humooon being is a creature that neither human nor animal . Just a humooon
Nathan levitating looks like the soul of Nathan left his body just to check the map
Man, I wish you still started the episodes with "Where we basically take the camera.....anywhere we want!" That always uplifted me.
Dude, you need more tags in your video. Like, "Uncharted Secrets" or "Uncharted gameplay". Having one tag just isn't good for the algorithm and you deserve your videos getting more hits.
make sure you share the video around! external linking is the number 1 most helpful piece of data to the algorithm
UA-cam's algorithm doesn't take tag into consideration to the same level that it did in the past. They're almost pointless to put much thought into now.
Well I'll share your channel Shesez
Not sure where else to put this, but I think the reason they lifted the cruise ship out of the water during the flooding/escape sequence is because ND created a procedural ocean for that level. @voor wat Dude, calm down.
The part where Sully’s mirage helps Drake up and then just disappears gives me shivers. There’s something about mind fucks and eerie shit like that in games and films which I really like.
I can't belive this ran on a PS3 and ran really well
It's an awesome video. Still, i wanted to see all the details, buildings, the sandstorm outside of Ubar, the skybox…, so many things.
Stay well.
Everaldo Santos.i love wow designed ubar.
The amount of detail in this game is amazing, definitely one of my favorite series. Still need to finish Uncharted 4 before I watch the boundry break for that

imagine the guy your chasing just fucking meditated and then floated in the AIR LOL 2:56

Yeah, that's an light effect.
That meditation pose is a real Out of body (or shall I say bounds), experience!
ZING!
i wish these vids were hours long. i love them so much!
I love boundary breaks of video games and Uncharted series has the most impressive environment designs ever. I am hoping and praying that you could boundary break Uncharted 4 soon. Thanks in advance.

Uncharted 3 is definitely the best game out of the series don't understand why some people didn't like this one
FINALLY! I already asked about Uncharted 4 when your Uncharted 2 Episode came out and asked about it again on your Crash Bandicoot stream. Glad to see this episode!

Nathan's meditation pose is the new superman pose
The Uncharted theme is the best.
The Spongy Mallard agreed
I always feel enlightened when I see a new episode of Tranquility Break
Its only when you look at it all do you realize how much attention to details the team had making the game. It’s just stunning how much is there.
I love this channel but the episodes have become so fast paced. I feel like I need to watch the video at half speed to have time to appreciate the detail you're providing for us.
That intro was a lot smoother this time around. I like it!
I absolutely loved this game. And, I absolutely loved this video! You and your collaborators do amazing stuff! Keep it up!
That desert city is so damn beautiful, it makes me wonder the likelihood something like that actually still exists or ever existed
I WAS LITERALLY PLAYING UNCHARTED 4 YESTERDAY AND TOLD MY BROTHER I HOPE SHESEZ DOES AN EPISODE OF BOUNDARY BREAK ON UNCHARTED 3.... You really came through. Zero Wiseman tldr
Nate doing his meditation pose why zooming around out of bounds is some real dbz shit
I love it, great video!
Tbh the music is making me kind of emotional bc it brings me back to 8th grade playing Uncharted 3 multiplayer, before high school, or working, or college application stress, not a care in the world except for beating Abduction bc that mission was hard af
imagine if youre just walking on the streets and some one in a meditation pose floats by you and goes through a wall lmao
The Uncharted 3 engine is so good that the floating Nathan Drake Model makes an imprint in the sand at 7:55
Thats ma boy Freako, the man, the myth, the TURBO. Oh boy, all the times I have "admired" his work...
This game looks better than most of the PS4 games
Core memory unlocked: London at night looks almost exactly like old Flight Simulator games I used to watch my father play as a kid. I'd say late 90's to very early 00's.
Wow, this game is really impressive. I never understood how well it was made until I watched this, makes me wanna play it
Dman Great on PS3 and if you have a PS4, The Nathan Drake Collection is well worth checking out.
Thanks for another great boundary break. Can’t wait what you have in store for next week!
One of tge best games in my life!
The perfectly timed freecam mode from the rooftop chase was hilarious, guards were just like "well shit we ain't gonna catch the fucker now are we?"
I was expecting this video so much, and it is finally here. And I totally love it 😍😍
You should make "where we basically take the camera.... anywhere we want and we try to find secrets to some of our favorite games" quote to return since I always get hyped up hearing you say that every time(and you haven't said that in a while so I hope it returns)

Incredible job man. I loved this video so much. One of your favourite games.
#BetterThanTrending
*n i c e*
edit: nice i got a love thingy by Shesez
The game still looks so Good
lmao that pose while flying about makes Drake look like he's on a magic carpet.
0:43 I love the new Zenyatta skin in Overwatch
Seeing Nathan Fillion.... erm Nathan Drake going absolute Zen Mode and floating through walls is so dang amazing that it almost trumps the rest of a truly great video. #MeditateToLevitate
Nathan has ascended!
Wait what about the part with the quicksand and the part with the artifact they drop underwater?also when Drake get grabbed by his doppelganger.
Yeah.missed opportunity
Omg I lovvvvvve the Uncharted series!!! I’ve bought them all! It’s so much fun and the environment is amazing!!!
Been waiting for this for so long
First time watch or of your videos, great job! I love seeing the perspective.
Lol young Drake is about to be caught and he just meditates and floats away. The guards are like "What the....?"
3:27 "enviroment almost looks like its straight out of a PS2 game"
High praise indeed a ps3 game almost reaching the high standarads of ps2 graphics XD
It is pretty impressive considering it was a background most other games would use an image for
Daniel Rieger or super duper low poly environment
Daniel Rieger You missed his point. Shesez said that this PS3 game has great detail and was praising it while saying it almost looks like a PS2 game, which is far behind the PS3 in terms of graphics.
Shesez was saying the far off buildings had PS2 detail.
He didn't explain it properly.
Yh Needed to be worded a bit better, can be misinterpreted easily XD
I have been waiting for 8:40 ever since your very first video. I am dead serious.
When Drake floats he’s meditating!
This is the best thing ever.
I can't stop giggling while watching. Damn meditation pose.
Nathan Drake flying around meditating is hilarious
You really have to admit, even for today's standards this game looks still really great. Amazing video and amazing game!
Jeez! The scale and detail of that Iram map! Woah...
OH. MY. GOD. An Uncharted 3 episode?! YES!!!
This is what I've been waiting for
Been waiting for this
I remember I once sequence broke uncharted 2 where some rubble was supposed to fall down and block my path.
Somehow that never happened and I was able to walk back anyway, the level was never rendered back. Then I fell into an infinite abyss and died haha.
Aww, I was about to do the intro with you but it changed :P
Nate using his mind powers obtained from a relic to travel around the world and to break time and space 👌
Uncharted series are probably my favourite games EVER
This is a brilliant use of an meditation pose
Como echaba de menos tus vídeos!!!!
Yo that floating meditation pose is a little scary tho. Drake about to start telepathically exploding heads.
"No no no, lets talk about this!"
*meditates and flies through the plane*
Im going to laugh everytime i see this
Gotta say. That the english word for "Fata Morgana" is "Mirage" somewhat shocked me. I'm from germany and "Fata Morgana" is such an odd out there word I assumed it would some international thing based on something arabic or egyptian.

Congratulations, Shesez. Yet another Boundary broken. ;)
drake is in touch with his spirituality now, he can transcend space and time in that pose.
Astral Projection Drake. Love it. Are you gonna do the Lost Legacy?
Floating meditating Drake is kind of super hilarious
You should really get more views. This is so original! :)
This was my favorite game thank yu so much for uploading this
Can't wait for Uncarted 4 and The Lost Legecy
Heck yeah Shesez!! Glad to see this.
Drake meditating around the map is great
I love the hover animation in meditation pose
My parents were watching X-Files as I was watching this and with the part with young Sully teleporting the X-Files theme started playing and I thought it was in the video
Love this episode. Hope things go better for ya with the move and everything. :)
God i love uncharted, been a fan since 2009
off map exploration in U3 co-op was extremely fun. there are hidden trucks and even a plane.
It’s like the developers knew this game would be boundary broken and made the most hilarious pose for it. I bet they were laughing their heads off in the studio
Finally my notifications work for once xd
1.28
