At this point, I think it’s obvious that the team has thrown in the towel. Losing to Vandy sucked, especially because we easily could have won that game, but this beatdown is the backbreaker. I can’t imagine that this team will play with any sort of fire to finish the season. You see the talent on the team, but they can’t play consistent, disciplined football.

Kentucky is a Jekyll & Hyde team. The can play good against really top 25 teams playing down to them. They can also play horrible against teams when favored to win. I won't be surprised if we go 4-8.

I am not stupid, I know what stoops did for Ky. I mean there have been years where we were right there at the top 10 level. We have had shining moments, I think we would 10 games twice?? Or maybe once. Either way I know stoops has accomplished more than anyone else. So for that we are all thankful. But for the amount of money we are paying… THATS THE ISSUE.

So given that, KY is probably doing right about as well as it should.
KY is not some storied program that recruits dream of playing at. They are a mid to low tier team. And that’s a tough spot to be in if you’re trying to turn the image of the program around in a conference as competitive as the SEC
@@Alexandroidd Those same schools he is paid similar to fire their coaches for having his record each season consistently. With KY being a "mid to low tier" team, he's obviously being over-paid... And no one says KY is a "storied program". But with his salary we'd expect 8+ wins every season.

I stopped watching after the Vanderbilt game, I been a fan since I was a boy the coach was Jerry Claiborne. Things are different now, they get paid and free agency which makes them pros, so I didn't watch a single minute, fire coaching staff and release all players.
The defense was getting moved because they were on the field so much and tired.
Coach sounded frustrated and defeated, get back to work fellas
time to kick back and enjoy the unearned millions you have for bringing UK football up to near average, exit stage left please. Never thought he was any more than a defensive coordinator, the seasons he did have a decent record his staff e.g. coen, won those games.

As the most seasoned SEC head football coach there should not be this type of losses taking place. His self comments over the years of his ability in lack of preparation, better discipline and execution by the team squarely fall on him. When does he show accountability of the players not executing and lack of discipline, mental toughness not getting penalties and ball security? Being in his 12th year there is something lacking during the week. No accountability for mental breakdowns during the game, lack of discipline in execution. Top tier coaches in D1 across the US with similar number of years of experience(Saban-Swinny) is 70% or higher, Stoops is at 52% meaning we are well below top tier and continue to be mediocre at best.
I just know ive got season tickets and i wont be going to another game and wont be renewing next year. Mitch better figure it out or hes about to lose alot of money.
