- Armenians have a long-standing presence in Georgia, dating back to before the Armenian Genocide of 1915. Through historical challenges during the Ottoman Empire and Soviet era, Armenians have assimilated peacefully with their neighbors while maintaining their identity, faith, and culture. Nevertheless, the Armenian population is at risk as their population and culture face a severe decline.

As a Georgian I must say Armenians are a great contributor to the beauty of Tbilisi. They built some of the most beautiful buildings in the city, and produced some of the best art and culture.
Nice!! Which Armenian buildings are your favorite around the city?
@@dougkalagian I would have to say buildings like the Caucasus University building, formerly known as the Nersisian school, the Vanki tower, and the Artsruni Caravansarai, which is currently the Tbilisi History Museum.
@@XenoFonia I think I missed some of these while I was in town. I'll have to check them out next time. Thanks for sharing this list!
@@dougkalagian no problem, I hope you enjoy your next visit very much.
Thank you!! I hope you subscribe and keep in touch. More Armenia videos to come 🌟
This is nice..
Thanks! What did you like about it
@@dougkalagian the education aspect of it is nice...cuz I always know that area is where a big Armenian community live...and the Georgian girl I dated was Armenian Georgian...and she said that there're negative stereotypes on Armenian, so it's nice to see this
🔥
Thank you!! This was actually a deleted scene from my upcoming documentary "Peace for Armenia."
