My favourite time to visit Georgia is December. The streets are beautifully litted up and decorated, one can feel the spirit of Christmas. I haven’t experienced Carol singing or other Christmas festivities and how Georgian celebrate it.
Thank you for the comment, each season has its beauty in Georgia and much depends on personal interests. December indeed great time for festive atmosphere and new year decorations and vibes
Thanks for the video 😊 I visited Georgia 🇬🇪 last October and I loved it 😊 very nice country and friendly people. It's a very cheap country, so that's really good 😊 The only thing I I didn't like it was the way I was treated in passport control in the Tbilisi Airport (arrival and departure) , officials were extremely rude and literally treated me like a terrorist. But apart from this, everything was perfect 😊 Regards from Costa Rica 🇨🇷
Hello! Thank you for your videos. I’m planning on going to Georgia in December for New Year’s Eve, I’ll probably spend 1 week from the end of December to the beginning of January. Can you recommend me activities for winter in Tbilisi? I would also like to visit villages in the mountains. Is it possible in winter? Thank you for your help!
Georgia: where my I may need 7 South African rands for 1 Georgian lari, but I can still enjoy myself. Western Europe physically hurt to buy food. Looking forward to visiting Tbilisi and rest of Georgia in June. Thanks for these videos. Really helps
I really enjoyed this video! I'm moving to Georgia in September to study MBBS, and this gave me a great glimpse of what life is like there. Thanks for the valuable insights!
Thankk you for the amazing important points!! But I how do I know how to use the funicular and the tram and the train? Is there a card I should get at the airport to use for these transportation? And what is the system for all those transportations?
Thank you for the comment. You need to order bolt till lower station of funicular in Tbilisi, from there you find kiosk to take card , fill the balance to funicular tram rides and amusement park attractions. For more details check this video: Tbilisi Travel Guide: Tips for Tbilisi Summer Travel ua-cam.com/video/mfsq9_-uk6c/v-deo.html
Thank you for the comment. The active season for BATUMI starts from June and continues till the end of September. April is rather early for water activities there and more chances of rainy days
What an excellent video! Much useful info (and visuals). I'm hoping to get to Tbilisi in September and I'm sure I'll be making use of some of this info. Thanks!
Hi Teona. I'm going to spend winter in Tbilisi starting in December. Can you give me names of places where I can buy street food? I think you did a great job with your video. Thanks for sharing!
Hi dear. Very informative videos u make. Such a pleasant personality you have. I m planning in mid-June. What kind of clothes should i bring. As i will one day visit to Kazebi also. Secondly, do you personally give tour or advice for our tour plan.
Thank you for the comment and support. It’s gets hotter and hotter from now here. You will need short sleeves to pack and light jacket for mountain area visit
Thank you for the comment and question. Georgian cuisine is rich with its diversity of vegan options and you will be impressed with this choice at any traditional georgian restaurant.
Hello. Last year, we stayed at a hotel near the Narikala fortress (approx. 15 minutes away), in a quiet place. We paid $32. Two bedrooms, large living room with kitchen, fridge just for us. Bathroom with shower, toilet and washing machine. Fast wi-fi, drinking water and a friendly owner. What more could you wish for? :) Food prices are only slightly cheaper than in the Czech Republic outside the tourist areas. Bus and train very cheap for me.
Thank you for the comment. How about boat ride activity in old city, hot air balloon with sunset or dinner at funicular restaurant with best views on the city?
Thank you for the comment. Old city area can be challenging for moving around with stroller for kids at narrow streets but I advice to visit Mtatsminda park or Lisi lake with kids (these areas are kid friendly with many activities there)
@@tbilisilocalguide-Teona thank you so much. And what about changing facilities/toilets for children ? Will the weather in Oct be ok to travel with children.
Going there in end of this May with my family. How is the weather there in May? What cloths should i carry? Also i have an infant with me, should i carry warm cloths?
Thank you for your comment. May is one of the best month for travel season and blossom time. You need short sleeves or thin long sleeved to pack and light jacket if you plan visit mountain regions
Thank you for the comment. Yes about more 90% areas offer to pay with card and through mobile. Some local Cash is needed for small souvenir shops, bazaars, for activities

Thank you for the comment. Unfortunately in Tbilisi not much to expect with snow though from mid December here opens winter season and our ski resort’s offer different snow activities
Hi there! I have a question: my partner and I want to visit Georgia in december for christmas and NYE, is it any safe for tourists? My government has declared Georgia as code yellow (somewhat dangerous) and some parts even code red (mainly borders with Russia). I was wondering if you had some honest feedback for us! Thanks!
Hi. Me and my wife are planning to come to Georgia between 19th October to 27th October. I have been hearing news about the election and unrest expected in Georgia close to 26th 27th October, is it safe to travel there for the next full week ?

My sister and I are preparing for a visit to your country in the first week of next month. 3 nights and 4 days tour. Let's get ready for the city of Tbilisi to move safely. Can you be contacted?
Thank you for the comment. If you are interested in snow activities and new year celebrations/ Christmas decorations, January will be good. You will need consider warm clothes for the visit at that time
Thank you for the comment. Much depends on the place. (10,- usd is for specialty places for breakfast in touristic areas) Street food is always more budget friendly alternative
It's expensive and incredibely overpopulated, half of my family has migrated from here, me and my wife alos plan to do so. My family lives in Barcelona and for the same budget you can feed family for a week there, in Tbilisi you'll need twice as much. Also city is very very poluted.
Thank you! My only issue with the majority of videos of every single person, in any part of the world is that they tell me the prices in US dollars. Unless a country’s currency is in US dollar, then there is no need to convert the money to US, is it? I’m Canadian, we don’t pay in US money and I want to pay for everything, once I’m in Georgia, in Lari. Then I can convert my own $ to Georgian Gel. It’s like Americans are taking over every place, even UA-cam videos are catered to them.
Thank you for the comment. My idea is to provide information to travelers that will be helpful and easy to understand. While USD is international currency, from my experience it’s familiar to almost every traveler from the world. Of course it’s needed to convert USD it into local currency (GEL) after arrival and spending.
