- Spinnerbaits for PRE-SPAWN BASS
In this video I go out to try and figure out what the fish are doing. With some higher water conditions and the water startIng to warm up for the spring, I had a feeling the spinnerbait might be a good idea. The day started slow with only one small fish, then I went on a long dry spell without catching anything for multiple hours. After trying different techniques throughout the day I decided to go back to the spinnerbait and finally got another bite. Both of the first two fish were closer to the backs of creeks so I decided to go try another one but before I got there I saw a main lake spot I wanted to try and sure enough, I got another one. After that I decided to try more spots on the main lake and continued to get bites and just like that I was onto a pattern! The spinnerbait is such an awesome bait for this time of year because its so versatile, you can fish shallow or over deep water, you can fish it in/or around cover but it also gets bites in open water. The spinner bait is just a all around great bait for the springtime!
