DONT BOIL LAKE WATER IN YOUR KETTLE THEN REUSE YOUR KETTLE AFTER! what is this fella on? Use bottled water so you can use on any lake you go too

no mention of only using the baits at the lake you took water from, biosecurity should be mentioned imo, or simply use mineral/bottled water. Id avoid tap and lake water.

carptoastTV great point and thanks for bringing up such an important subject. The lake water is boiled therefore rendering any pathogens null and void. I wouldn’t expect anglers to take ‘treated’ baits home as they would have to be frozen as this technique would render the shelf life next to useless. The freezing process would also kill any pathogens if they did. I am comfortable in the knowledge that this method is 100% safe where bio security is concerned but am delighted to see that anglers like yourself are thinking about these very important issues.
