    An o-ring is a rubber gasket. What you used is an eyebolt.

      An eye bolt is threaded and has a nut. What he is using is a screw eye.

    Hi Greg, I found your video helpful. I had already purchased a patio misting kit. No instructions and some parts that your kit has that mine does not😮. An end plug and the little u nail for wall attachment . Maybe in future vids, you could mention to watch for missing parts in other kits. 🙂
    Thanx, again!!

    Yeah, it gets a little wet and you can’t twist the little nozzles to close. I still haven’t figured out yet how to cut it to form but I’m not done yet. Secondly, the super glue idea was a good one. I can do that for now. Thanks.

    This Texas heat is a BEAST! Even with three MATURE (over 40 years old) pecan trees, my patio temp has been 98 + degrees in 108 degree weather!😮
    Question: should I be concerned with having the mist spray so close to the wiring of the patio lights, as you've demonstrated?

    • @MRGREGSHOWTO
      @MRGREGSHOWTO  Рік тому +1

      Howdy, partner! That sounds hot! The lights I have up are waterproof solar lights, so no electrical concerns here. If you have 110v lights, probably best not to have water blasting directly on them if you can avoid it.

    Can u regulate flow of mist?

    • @MRGREGSHOWTO
      @MRGREGSHOWTO  Рік тому

      Hey partner! You can’t regulate the mist from the misters themselves, but you can adjust the flow/pressure from the spigot or 3-way valve. Hope that helps!

    are you able to control the mist or do you just get soaking wet?

    • @MRGREGSHOWTO
      @MRGREGSHOWTO  Рік тому

      Howdy partner! You can turn the water pressure on low, but you will still get a little wet unless the spread is a decent distance away.

  • @dannynguyen4188
    @dannynguyen4188 3 місяці тому +1

    Is there a way to reduce the pressure of the water so that it won’t make you soaking wet?

    • @MRGREGSHOWTO
      @MRGREGSHOWTO  3 місяці тому +1

      The best trick I have found is to turn the spigot on low or to only partially open the 3-way valve if you are using one at the connection. Height and wind speed will also affect how wide the mist spreads. Good luck!

    • @heidis8713
      @heidis8713 Місяць тому

      Try pointing it away from you. The higher the pressure, the more it mists. Too low of pressure may make it drip out, which is not what you want.
