An o-ring is a rubber gasket. What you used is an eyebolt.
My bad, partner! Appreciate the correction. Thanks for watching!
An eye bolt is threaded and has a nut. What he is using is a screw eye.
@@rocketsurgery8337 even better! Thanks partner!
Hi Greg, I found your video helpful. I had already purchased a patio misting kit. No instructions and some parts that your kit has that mine does not😮. An end plug and the little u nail for wall attachment . Maybe in future vids, you could mention to watch for missing parts in other kits. 🙂
Thanx, again!!
This was so helpful! Thank you! Love that you included the o ring tutorial too!!
Howdy partner! Glad to hear that it was helpful. Best of luck on your project!
Thanks for this dude! I'm about to install a system myself. Love the O-ring tip you provided for sure.
You’re welcome, partner! Good luck and let us know how it goes!
You make it seem so easy.
Howdy, partner! Not hard at all, you can too!
Awesome 👌 thsnk you so much
You’re welcome, partner! Thanks for watching!
Its 100 degrees. Why are you wearing a sweater vest? 😂
Howdy, partner! Gotta look cool while you stay cool!
My thoughts too lol
Yeah, it gets a little wet and you can’t twist the little nozzles to close. I still haven’t figured out yet how to cut it to form but I’m not done yet. Secondly, the super glue idea was a good one. I can do that for now. Thanks.
You're welcome, partner! Good luck!
Thanks for the video. How do you install on an alumawood patio?
Should be a pretty similar process. Please let us know how it turns out!
Can I install along the guide wire with Bistro lights? Same low pressure misting system, bistro lights are Smart LED weatherproof IP65 rated. Thanks!
Howdy partner! I don’t see why not. Everything is waterproof and the pressure is very low. Good luck!

This Texas heat is a BEAST! Even with three MATURE (over 40 years old) pecan trees, my patio temp has been 98 + degrees in 108 degree weather!😮
Question: should I be concerned with having the mist spray so close to the wiring of the patio lights, as you've demonstrated?
Howdy, partner! That sounds hot! The lights I have up are waterproof solar lights, so no electrical concerns here. If you have 110v lights, probably best not to have water blasting directly on them if you can avoid it.
@@MRGREGSHOWTO GOT it! Thanks!
can you put it on a timer...I'm putting this at the dog run!
Howdy partner! I’m sure you could as long as it was one of the spigot programmed tuners. Great idea!
Would it rust the grill and other metal stuff on the patio over time?
Howdy, partner! No more than any rainwater. Just depends on what is getting misted on. Good luck!
Can u regulate flow of mist?
Hey partner! You can’t regulate the mist from the misters themselves, but you can adjust the flow/pressure from the spigot or 3-way valve. Hope that helps!
are you able to control the mist or do you just get soaking wet?
Howdy partner! You can turn the water pressure on low, but you will still get a little wet unless the spread is a decent distance away.
Is there a way to reduce the pressure of the water so that it won’t make you soaking wet?
The best trick I have found is to turn the spigot on low or to only partially open the 3-way valve if you are using one at the connection. Height and wind speed will also affect how wide the mist spreads. Good luck!
Try pointing it away from you. The higher the pressure, the more it mists. Too low of pressure may make it drip out, which is not what you want.
What’s the difference between this and the $1000+ units with the pumps?
About $980, partner! :)
Great video, does we use a lot of water?? I can see now the wife saying the water bill went up 😂
Howdy, partner! It uses very little water - don't want to get you in trouble!
Are you actually getting wet? Or is it just evaporatively cooling the immediate area?
Hey partner! Yes, you will get wet. It does not all evaporate immediately. Thanks for watching!
Those particular model did not work for me, the nozzles kept popping out.
Sorry to hear that partner! We haven’t had that problem. Sounds like a defective unit or crazy water pressure.
Don’t forget to add a filter so that you don’t get calcium and chloride ect that’s in the water all over yourself or food 😂
Howdy, partner! That's an idea!
What kind of filter?
I can't be the only one thinking he shouldn't have that up with those light right next to it, am i?
Howdy, partner! Those are extremely low wattage, plastic solar-powered lights. But yes, always be careful with water and electric!
That’s gonna destroy your grill
Howdy, partner! No harm so far - will keep you posted if anything changes. Thanks for watching!
Omg. Really? So messy. I'll watch others do it.
Howdy, partner! Don’t worry - you can too!
Hi, the host could use some work on his gesticulation. It has distracted me at beginning. That's exactly the time where you want to keep the attention of your audience. It'll convince them, they've chosen the right video.
Thanks, partner! Appreciate the pointer!
