People seem to forget but the “mk6 gen 3” armor has already been seen in halo legends and halo forward unto dawn movie, it’s not new but still way better than what halo 4 and 5 crapped out

I’m gonna be honest I like the one from Halo 2 and 3 the least cause he looks too skinny. In halo 4 and Infinite he looks way more like a walking tank, it’s also something I like with the Mark V armor
Funnily enough Chief is actually still skinny in 4 and 5 and it's just him being taller and the armor creating the illusion that he's bulky again, while in his Mark V and GEN 3 Mark VI he actually is bulky again
I’m fairly certain the Halo Infinite armor John is wearing is GEN 3 Mark VII which was tested my Spartan-II Naomi-010 prior to Infinite, meant specifically for Spartan-II’s. It just happens to look like the Mark IV and VI from halo legends and the games.
Mjolnir Mark VII is the main core that the Halo Infinite multiplayer Spartans would wear. We only have one confirmed Spartan II who wears Mark VII, being Naomi-010.
Mark 6 mod wasn’t bad. But the crazy part is how did she mod the armor while it’s in cryogenic pod. The Spartan 4s got the questionable armor pieces. Some were great, some were...why...?

GEN 3 is most definitely my favorite version, followed closely by GEN 2 (MOD). Nothing against the GEN 1s, but they're just not my favorite. Still love them, though.

It technically is a “new” design of an older generation. Mark 6 and 7 armour cores are different, any marketing/merchandise says it’s mark 6, and you can look up what 7 looks like on halopedia.

I thought the one in infinite was the new mk 7 why would chief still have mk 6 if mk 7 has been invented or did the campaign happen before the multiplayer
He has Mark 6 Gen 3. Mark 7 is the Multi-player armor core.

Is the new armor MKVI though? Sure it’s the same visual design but I think it would be silly to give chief new armor in infinite that isn’t an upgrade internally. Unless they explain it I don’t like that idea. Seems silly. Like “oh I’ll just take the inferior design”
UNLESS, the MKVII simply wasn’t designed for spartan 2’s and they don’t have any that fit chief.
It technically is a “new” design of an older generation. Mark 6 and 7 armour cores are different, any marketing/merchandise says it’s mark 6, and you can look up what 7 looks like on halopedia.
@@BlueFlameStudiosOfficial yea I get that it just seems silly that it would be considered a MK6 when it’s an upgrade. Which is the point of numbering the suits in the first place.
