- This is why assassinations must be in Halo Infinite
It been 5 years today since All Halo 5 Assassinations in Epic Slow Motion was uploaded. Since the sad news of assassinations not making it to Halo Infinite at launch, I decided to create a New All H5 Assassinations video for both the 5th Anniversary and a reminder of how AWESOME assassinations can be.

Okay I take it back, they need to be in Infinite and it's a shame they aren't at launch.
Something I want is for the assassinations to have cinematic camera angles instead of showing just from 3rd person. mayba could be a toggable feature?

Funny thing, I actually use this assassination, and I got a triple kill, by throwing them at the other players haha 😂 sucks how there is none in infinite, because all I remember was laughing so hard. Was one of the funniest rare moments I've had while playing a halo game. This kinda stuff is just absent from halo infinite. I do like the replulsor but mehh . Ground pound and assassination is where its at, they should have kept all this and just added equipment..

I feel like those who say they don’t want assassinations, and say why they don’t, don’t know what they are talking about and are just overthinking things. They sound like they are just being OCD on the mechanics of the game and are putting way too much focus into competitiveness way too much.
Idk why but seeing the spartan fall by the screen in slow motion at 1:42 is both epic but also sad in a wierd way lol

It's definitely the music that contributed to that feeling.
The animations were always so good. I love the ones that are most clearly based on real martial arts techniques. I think I've done something like Eyebiter in my karate classes.
Wish classic fans could respect 343's work more. I wonder if they'll even include the thrusters in the animations now that thrust has been removed as a player ability...
And I’ve been doing Jiu jitsu for a year and helping hands is close to and arm bar more of a arm lock

@@darkphoenix2 Halo infinite is a mess. I think the campaign is good overall but it is not worth $60. There is not even splitscreen or any other features. It is still weaker than the bungie games. The boss fights are stupid and before you say it I know Halo 2 had bossfights (and they were good)

It's actually really cool, it's so slow you can actually notice the attention to detail, they're only stabbing the black parts where there's no armor, thats so cool
"Get Low" will always be one of my favorites, I usually go for the "Tank" looking Spartan and this assassination mixed so well with it.
1:42 fits too well with the saxophone. The timing is almost comedic.
The perfect halo ODST music on this is super good.
2:40 Lawn Dart was my favorite to use, it's so brutal and the body serves sort of as a shield for like half the animation.

People can say all they want about H5's campaign and it's mostly justified but man H5's MP and stuff like this was so fire. I loved how you could choose what assassinations you wanted to use too. I always loved the one where you stick someone and then throw them by their feet

Ive already said this before so I'll keep it brief, I love how the music makes it seem like the purple/magenta Spartan is like an oni assassin, however, since the war is over, the Spartans are no longer needed. Because of this, he's been sent out to execute them all and kill himself after. If he doesn't comply, he'll be killed first and another oni assassin will take over the job. The sad music is bc he doesn't want to bc he knows it's messed up but he's got no other option. If you want a fuller, better version of this comment, there's a comment I left on the og vid so check that out if you want a better version of this comment.

@@Sky69420blud Probably a plot twist in the story: The red is another ONI employed Spartan sent to hunt down Magenta Spartan. They're both hunting Spartans down, they just haven't found each other yet.

@@fishystick117 NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO- OH wait it's because they need to animate, model, and other things so it looks good, because "we want it now" so we didn't give them time for assassinations, elites are probably going to come back but later due to needing different hit boxes, assassination animations, modeling it, you know
For real. I like halo being competitive but it should also be fun. Make it a toggle option
@@Hll_bast or because they want it to be in a polished state, considering there is no need to model for a assassination since we already have multiplayer models, as well as the need of animating mostly gone, considering that halo infinite is seen reusing animations for some grunts in the previous games. Agree with the elites though they already have hit boxes down for sure due to needing to do that in the campaign, but they could also reuse animations for the elites as well, the main thing that would be needed for elites are customization options which would need to be as impressive as the array of customizations for Spartans to please the fans

You can buy REQ packs. But just enjoy the game and you'll unlock everything!! It's a fun gameplay loop

Halo 5 wasn’t all really that good but the assassinations were so fluid ands just look so cool and this might come off as weird but the bone cracking sound is so nice to here and the way the armor sound as it happening is amazing

Over the Top, Backbreaker, Fisticuffs, and Lawn Dart will always be my favourites. There were so many creative and cool animations, it's a shame there was no way to preview them in the game when selecting them.
I always liked the ones where the person being assassinated is fighting back or trying to do a reversal. Hope Infinite gets assassinations one day

yeah the removal of blood from Halo 5 made killing ennemies way less satisfying and natural (instead you get the same lame hit markers you get in all first person shooters)
