Hold the power button for about 10-15 seconds to force a shutdown, then turn it back on.

I didn't have an entire white screen but a large white square from a Marriott WiFi connection that wouldn't go away. The last suggestion of a hard shit down did the trick. Thank you.

Hiii! Mine was doing this for a while and I tried to go thru task-manager but it says theres no apps running so I reccomend. Do the ctrl, alt, delete to get to the blue screen press the little icon in the corner and reset. Not any kind of factory reset just the normal reset to turn it off and back on!! Hope it works for yall!!
