Gracias !
I live outside of my country, and watching this video filled my soul and heart with joy. You are always welcome in Colombia, and thank you for showing it to the world
🤩 Thank you! This is the best comment that we have ever received! Thank you so much for taking the time to write this. Your words fill our souls with happiness and joy!
Hey Noelle and Jonathan, Im Juan the cohost of your Airbnb in Laureles, we got to meet once I believe. I just got this video recommended and I was like they seem familiar haha. Nice to see you enjoyed your time in Colombia. Great video and thanks for the little add of our Airbnb apartment :) You're welcome always!
Hi Juan! That’s so great! We remember you as well. You are a very kind and amazing Airbnb host! We’re so glad you got to watch our video 😄 This video is one of our first videos we’ve made and we want to make each video better than the last! 👍🏼
Excelente video muy bonito ustedes son unas lindas personas felicitaciones y exitos en tu canal. Seguiremos acompañándolos en sus viajes. Felicidades 😊
This is probably my favorite video so far! And that’s saying a lot because I loooove before and after renos. It was so fun to get a glimpse of Colombia! I felt like I could pretend I was on a little trip with you! 😂 Can’t wait to see more!
The diversity of landscapes, climates, cultures, geography, flora and fauna made Colombia rank number 3 of the most beautiful countries in the world, according to Forbes' ranking.
Me encanta que a cada lugar que fueron, siempre estuvieron con una sonrisa en el rostro, se nota que disfrutaron cada momento increíble. Bienvenidos siempre ❤❤❤❤🇨🇴☺️

I don't want to rain on anybody's parade however, read my comment above if you really want to know a little about Colombia, the real Colombia not from a point of view of a few days touring around the city but from someone who has actually lived there a couple years.
Muy buen trabajo el que ustedes hacen, transmiten buena energía, sin duda. Colombia está en su peor momento, en muy pocos años ésto mejorará, ojalá vuelvan algún día. Gracias !
ps... The guy with the big cart is recycling cardboard and other recyclables. I'm surprised you haven't seen them in other Central and South American countries they seem to be everywhere.
Thanks for pointing that out! Colombia is actually the only country in South America we’ve visited so far, and we haven’t made it to Central America yet. We will definitely keep an eye out for the recyclers [ 9:38 ] when we visit other countries. The locals told us that they are often under appreciated for the hard work that they do.
@@TRAVELiving-NJLA Colombia will always have a bad image but you never know something until you tried, right? i many ways is not different to any Latin American city (OrlandoFlorida).
@@BETOETE Why do you have to give Colombia a bad wreath by saying that it will always have bad image? Its image can change, and that depends on its fellowmen. It is already happening. And it is completely different, not matter if it is about Latino countries.
Wow guys as a Colombian I love that you love Colombia. Thanks for the great video and please come again soon.❤ Jonathan your Spanish pronunciation is great. Buena esa parcero!
Hey guys. Saludos desde Berlín, I live up on the hills in Medellín, and living here is amazing, keep doing it with your channel. Amazing content ❤ @ojodelatino when in Medellín, you're welcome mi casa es tu casa
Good job on the video guys! Now I'm going to make a few comments and I'm not a grumpy old boomer and I'm not hating on you but as someone who has lived in Medellin two years, I do feel it's fair to make a few comments, constructive criticism if you will so bear with me.... So you've shown a very beautiful side of Colombia. I can't comment on Bogota but I certainly can on Medellin. Although you didn't exaggerate the city as a La-la wonderland like many UA-camrs do just to get clicks for their viewers you did miss out on several points of day-to-day life. Number one, you would be naïve or either oblivious if you didn't notice people staring at you on the metro. Yes Colombia is full of wonderful people, I know I am married to one. However you would be a miss not to mention to your viewers it's very necessary to have your head on a swivel 24 seven within that specific city. Yes, even the local Paisas" Will tell you to be very careful especially when you're downtown at the Botero museum. Things like this are worth while mentioning to your viewers if you want to grow your channel as something that is somewhat accurate and reputable when travelling and touring.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your thoughts and feedback on our video! We really appreciate your perspective, especially since you’ve lived in Medellín for a couple years, which certainly gives you a deeper understanding of the city. We’ve spent more than 2 years living in Colombia but this was our first time in Medellin. It’s great to hear that you enjoyed the video, and we agree that we have failed to cover several key aspects of daily life that would have provided a fuller picture. You’re absolutely right that the day-to-day experience in Medellín, particularly regarding safety, deserves more attention than the scope of this video could provide. While we believe that Colombia’s reputation for being unsafe is not as bad as most people think, we did experience the need to stay alert in certain areas, as you mentioned. And we certainly don’t want to exaggerate and say that it is the safest place on earth either. We aim to be as honest as possible with our audience, and your point about always being vigilant is something we could have addressed more clearly in the video. We’ll take your feedback to heart in future videos, especially when it comes to giving a balanced view of both the beauty and the realities of traveling in cities like Medellín. Our goal is to offer content that not only inspires travel but also prepares people for the actual on-the-ground experience. We’re always learning, and constructive criticism like yours helps us improve the accuracy and reputability of our channel. Thanks again for sharing and for subscribing, and we hope to provide more well-rounded content moving forward!
I'm living in London currently and I'd say I've seen more pickpocketing/robberies here than in Medellín (This is what you get in almost all big cities). Is the city as safe compared to EU levels? Of course not, inequality in Colombia means there will always be a level of insecurity. But I would compare it to a place like LA. Where you have to watch your surroundings and not stay out at night in certain places.
@@XxXxXxXDxXxXxX... I can't speak for LA. As far as London goes, if half of what I've seen on the news is true I can't argue with you about the state of affairs in England as a whole... However violent crime and drugging/kidnapping is much, much more common in Medellin , it is just part of life there and anybody who says it's the same in the states is simply wrong. The drugging and kidnapping cannot be compared to Medellin/ Colombia.. especially the "scoping" game..aka escopolamine.. I'm sure there are very dangerous areas in the states, no doubt. @@tombernard4612 Yeah, totally agree with you on that. There is the drugging element. As I'm not one to go clubbing at night with strangers this hasn't really been a concern of mine while in Colombia - but agree this should be shut down by authorities before more people get killed.

A tip: , don't ask about Pablo Escobar, it's a topic that nobody wants to remember, he's like Hitler for Europeans

Yep, thats true. We as colombians hate to talk about that killer and the genocide that he did
