Donate 30 to the nice company that offers the free game if you want to play early. if you don't want to play the free game early, then don't donate the 30 dollars to the company. what doesn't add up about that? Do you expect all development and employee costs to just be donated by some mythical benefactor keeping the game regularly updated? They need money to make the thing. The people that want the thing are willing to donate. The people that can't afford it but still want to play it get to wait a little bit longer.
They're also probably going to end up slowly inviting people to join in a few weeks out like they've done in past betas which is a win for anyone strapped for cash.
I'm going to play all classes if I was doing the beta. Sorry, I missed the info for these questions. 1. Is there couch co-op for PC? 2. How many character slots do you get in the beta? 3. Do they still have support for dual-wielding? One of my favorite characters is a Shadow that dual-wields daggers.
1. Yes, this has already been confirmed by the developers themselves (in some gameplay footage, you can actually see them playing coop on a PC, edit: you can also even play coop on the same account!) 2. Probably more than there is playable classes (I mean you can still delete one character and create a new one of a different class) 3. I have not seen any dualwielding footage and I follow PoE2 stuff closely (there for sure will be dualwield, like in PoE1, but they are probably still refining so thats probably why we havent seen anything dualwielding related yet)
Would love to see _Ben do a HC "blind" run when EA drops. Know he's probably seen a few bosses in pre-EA playtests but still, would be a really fun watch
I'll just be happy if POE2 servers arnt dog shit like POE1s is. I cant even tell you how many times I died in HC due to server issues/lag on their end.
OK, early access is Dec 6, but when is the full release? I cant find it anywhere, but one post mentioned that the full release could be 6 months after early access.
I have a 49" ultra wide screen that i can't wait to play couch co-op with my wife....... now to tell her about it!! ALSO, the music you have going on in the background is soo nostalgic. Is it Age of Empires?
Normally in PoE, I play STR attack builds. But I really think my first character in PoE 2, I wanna fuck around with Merc, using those cluster nades they showed off.
been waiting for VoH to go on sale, it just did for black friday, 25% off. BUT, even with the sale, its still more than path of exile 2....... very tempting indeed
The game looks so smooth. I played PoE on the PS4 and it used to run like shit to a point where whole seasons were unplayable because the game freezed all the time. This time I am gonna play it on PC.
if they keep the packs the same it will be good deal 30e pack usually has 30e worth of points, rather good locking mxt (lower price for upgrading further) and + key them
I haven't gotten much into POE1, especially because of how intimidating it was, but can't wait for POE2. Not only it plays much slower but the new classes, graphics, mechanics, bosses etc. look amazing. Definitely pre-purchasing the game to play as soon as possible :). Anyway, great content as always.
I normally would say ranger or summoner witch as amazon and necro are my jam but I feel like they made this game for melee I really want to break out of my comfort zone and go with either warrior or monk...leaning more monk as I typically enjoy speed.
Can someone confirm that if your total spending does not matter for the qualification for ea. What I understand is either you have to had bought any of the 500$ packs in the past or you gotta buy the new supporter pack. Having spent 500 dollars on an account in total doesn't give you early access. This is what I understood but if it is wrong please correct me.
You know what they should do? They should have lied to us about the delay. The hype this would build up is insane. They could just be like "Hey guys, it's November 21st, and today we released the supporter early access packs, but also, we have an announcement. Last time I spoke to you, we kinda lied, there was no delay, you're getting early access TODAY MOTHERFUCKERS!IT'S LIVE!"
A $30 purchase is not even bad, I’m relatively new to PoE so I really haven’t spent a lot money in the game but I do like it a lot, it would be my 2nd top down experience as I have played Hades… anyways love it and will try to be there day one!
I never got into PoE, Ive tried several times and get bored by like level 30 or so, but I'm still excited to try PoE2. I've liked a lot of what I see, and the changes. Its super cool how you keep everything you've bought in the first one. I never ever do early access. I will 100% burn out before a game releases if I do that, and I always want to try and play the most finished version of a product (insert joke about Day 1 patches and nothings ever finished). But when it releases, I'll definitely be trying it. All that said, I think in total I've burnt out on ARPGs. Nothings ever hooked me since Original D3/RoS and Torchlight 1. I've tried them all, and most I don't even get through and finish the campaign (I dont really care about end game, never have).
Wait so my cosmetics and stash tabs TRANSFER into POE2? Is this for real? I was big into POE years ago, like 2k hours into it....bought a few things. Are those years old purchases going to hold their value? I hope this is true, GGG will retain tons of players if this is the case.

what doesn't add up about that? Do you expect all development and employee costs to just be donated by some mythical benefactor keeping the game regularly updated? They need money to make the thing. The people that want the thing are willing to donate. The people that can't afford it but still want to play it get to wait a little bit longer.
you’ve described half of the gaming industry
I think it's actually more strange that you don't understand the premise of early access lol
They're also probably going to end up slowly inviting people to join in a few weeks out like they've done in past betas which is a win for anyone strapped for cash.
I stopped playing D4 after season 3, this right here I am ready.
1. Yes, this has already been confirmed by the developers themselves (in some gameplay footage, you can actually see them playing coop on a PC, edit: you can also even play coop on the same account!)
2. Probably more than there is playable classes (I mean you can still delete one character and create a new one of a different class)
3. I have not seen any dualwielding footage and I follow PoE2 stuff closely (there for sure will be dualwield, like in PoE1, but they are probably still refining so thats probably why we havent seen anything dualwielding related yet)
@@dethepwner3892 Thanks for answering my questions
I let you all pay and beta test it for me and when it will be officially out, I will come and play.
Figures that after going 42 years without breaking a bone and waiting years for poe2 that i break my wrist right now :(
Oh snap (pun intended), that's terrible timing, hope it heals up well.
Id LOVE to watch Ben HC blind run.
That would be amazing.
can not wait to play this
Kind of weird to ask for $30 for a f2p game and mask it as "oh its a pack", but given how much content poe brings, its perfectly fine.
Well ,Better than buying early Access for 50 $ for a game that already 60$
@@TheArabek Yes? a larger turd is worse than the small one. Lets not have any of them tho instead?
It's not weird at all. It's actually normal. It's early access.
Because it is a pack. Supporter packs are completely normal in PoE. This pack is the same but in addition to the usual stuff it gives you a beta key.
A reminder that they conducted poe1 Open Beta keys giveaways in the past. I got one through that.
The casual age of empires 2 music was not a nostalgia shock I was ready for today.
I noticed your flasks don't show up on the Couch Co-Op interface. How does that work?
OK, early access is Dec 6, but when is the full release? I cant find it anywhere, but one post mentioned that the full release could be 6 months after early access.
between 6 month to a year they said previously
I have a 49" ultra wide screen that i can't wait to play couch co-op with my wife....... now to tell her about it!!
ALSO, the music you have going on in the background is soo nostalgic. Is it Age of Empires?
Maplestory it seems. At least one of the top comments does state so.
@theinfernity1799 i believe 1st half was maple story and then second half definitely was age of empires!! Ahh the memories
Normally in PoE, I play STR attack builds. But I really think my first character in PoE 2, I wanna fuck around with Merc, using those cluster nades they showed off.
T A K E M Y M OO N E Y!!!! I'm so absolutely 110% hyped hyped hyped for this!
been waiting for VoH to go on sale, it just did for black friday, 25% off. BUT, even with the sale, its still more than path of exile 2....... very tempting indeed
Remember when they stealth dropped acts 7 plus.. greatest announcement trailer of all time? I do
The game looks so smooth. I played PoE on the PS4 and it used to run like shit to a point where whole seasons were unplayable because the game freezed all the time. This time I am gonna play it on PC.
08:55 Assassin (Shadow)
Even kitty was interested in seeing DM talk about new PoE info.
That MS Kerning City bgm can't escape my ears.
Never really got into poe1. Definitely gonna get this one in early access. It looks dope.
The witch class sounds fun
In fact, you have to buy a pack, that give you pts to get MTX, but also you can play the EA... Not just you pay to play a free game.
if they keep the packs the same it will be good deal
30e pack usually has 30e worth of points, rather good locking mxt (lower price for upgrading further)
and + key them
Me n my wife play ARPGs together so POE was always a pass. Like you said, now they have my purchase. Super hyped
And the great “D4 players to POE2 players Shift” has begun
nope
Can someone confirm that if your total spending does not matter for the qualification for ea. What I understand is either you have to had bought any of the 500$ packs in the past or you gotta buy the new supporter pack. Having spent 500 dollars on an account in total doesn't give you early access. This is what I understood but if it is wrong please correct me.
If you have spent $500 total, divided between as many purchases, does quality for early access, so you should be good to go.
That cross progression is the icing on the cake for me ,it so good to be a live right now 🤟🤟
A $30 purchase is not even bad, I’m relatively new to PoE so I really haven’t spent a lot money in the game but I do like it a lot, it would be my 2nd top down experience as I have played Hades… anyways love it and will try to be there day one!
Love the Age Of Empires 2 ambience in the background.
Definitely like the look of warrior. Melee combos look fun. Mercenary is my runner-up.
That kerning city music slaps
Wait so my cosmetics and stash tabs TRANSFER into POE2? Is this for real? I was big into POE years ago, like 2k hours into it....bought a few things. Are those years old purchases going to hold their value? I hope this is true, GGG will retain tons of players if this is the case.
It Will work on both games
Probably Witch as it seems really cool. Sorcerer too as a second character maybe... ahh its hard to choose at the moment lol
I need a Orb weaver that has a TRUE analog stick on it, not a stick that i rebind to wsad
