Welcome to DC!!
We got one
That 1st td pass to Jenkins was ridiculously risky. I would never want my qb making that throw lol😂
I seen QBs make risky throws all the time and get praise for it. You just need a dude at wr you can pull it off
@@lenwoodwaugh9526 truth
Yeah, double coverage and nobody is moving. All 3 guys are planted just waiting for the ball. In the NFL that is at the very least a bat down. And most probably an EASY INT. Jayden, you can't do this.
@@shipwreck8847 not saying he should just pointing out QBs get away with these type of throws is what I mean
Sometimes the QB just has to trust is WR to make a play when nobody's open.
Nice quick release, and he run like a punt returner HTTR..
He’s gonna be awful and I’m going to be so pissed
@@fullofmuscledownunde why u say that??
If he runs this often in the NFL, he will be spending a lot of time on IR.
He's only had 2 injuries the last 5 years. A sprained ankle in 2019 and a concussion in 2023 on a helmet to helmet hit in the pocket. He's a tough dude.
This isnt college anymore, the dude in the nfl dont weigh 198. He isnt built like lamar and isnt nesrly as shifty, so hes got hope that pocket holds@brandondillman5841
@@forkicks2105 He's 210 pounds. It's not like he's some twig out there. lol. CJ Stroud is the same size and nobody questions his durability.
@@brandondillman5841stroud is a stand and deliver kind of pocket passer. He can run to extend plays if he has to. This kid will have to rely on that because he cant throw.
@@herogibson he was the best deep passer in college football. One of the most accurate as well. He's a more refined passer than Stroud was coming out.
I need to see some more passing highlights.. least he knows how to slide
On god I said the same shit
First TD throw should have been intercepted twice
Should have, but he had a total of 4 INT over the entire season.
Can't believe anyone thinks for even a second that he's the best in this class.
Why? It would be an opinion, just like the one you stated.
Can't believe you think your opinion is law. I think he's the best in this class.
People are a victim of stats and they dont actually know what they’re watching. Some people probably never watched him at all.
It's worrying when it feels more like meh lights and some highlights for the wrs
Comparisons to Lamar Jackson are preposterous
Yeah. I don't really see it. Jayden is faster is a straight line, but Lamar is the most elusive QB in the history of the league. Jayden is a much better passer coming out of college as well. Mechanically flawless and tremendous accuracy at all levels. His anticipation throws are special.
@@brandondillman5841okay so he may be faster than lamar, i dont think so. Lamar was low 4.3s and this guy likely is too. He will never ever, ever, be as good of a passer as lamar. I keep hearing this from people and i think they have just never watched him maybe. This kids absolute ceiling is 75% of lamar.
@@herogibson Lamar was not a great passer in college. He improved a lot once he got to the Ravens. Jayden was the best deep passer in college football and was able to throw over the middle with anticipation regularly. He does need to work on scrambling to extend plays instead of just scrambling to run.
Yeah we know. JD5 is better. 😂
1:45 His mother Catina is the brother of Zach Thomas 😂😂 INSANE !!
Ngl that was mid as hell bro. That first TD pass was not a highlight. Youre delusional if youre trying to say he intended to throw it short when the WR was 5 yards in front of the two dbs and an entire endzone to throw the ball to.
We can hope he’s Lamar but redskins luck says another bust. Should have went with Maye
Why are you showing Jayden's junior year highlights? How about the next year - his Heisman year.
Hopefully he has a great career in Washington. Hope they dont do to him like RG3. He looks like a solid QB and nice release. Best of luck to you Washington....from a Texans fan
JDs, Welcome to DC!!!!
Talented
I don't see him doing this in the NFL. Expect about 50 percent of what you see here in the NFL...if that.
Poor kid going to Wash. good luck over there.
Highlights? All I see is a guy running around like RG3 and receivers that are wide open or have to intercept balls heading to a defender. This looks like RG3 all over again…ugh
U do know RG3 was rookie of the yr & led his team to the playoffs? RG3 had an old Moss, no help from the TE’s, Josh Gordon, and Pierre Garçon injured for half the season. RG3 got a career ending injury. JD will be fine
3800 passing yards and 40 TDs, he does more than just slide.
Bro rg3 could throw the ball. He had rare generational arm talent. This kid isn’t 1/10th the passer he was at this stage.
He should talk to RG Me about all that running stuff
I came here to be encouraged and what I saw in HIGHLIGHTS was he makes risky ass throws and takes big hits lol not good
I keep drafting him in the 9th Rd in best ball, steal!
I cant believe this kid went in round 1. Great season statistically obviously. Ive heard the lamar comparisons. At this point in lamars career, when he was drafted, he was faster and harder to tackle. He could also throw the ball. The absolute ceiling for this kid is 75% of lamar. Happy for him he got a bag, but he will be looking for a job in 3 years.
This guy has a chance to be different
Daniels is amazing but god damn Nabers is a beast
Who's the QB?
Idk whats worse, getting drafted to the jets, the browns, the bears, or the redskins?
getting drafted by your mom is the answer .....
Redskins probably
I'd say the Jets. Everybody else tries.
@@Theprimaryfocus
I wouldn't call this trying. His highlights is him running around and getting bailed out by receivers and drop down passes. Terrible draft lol
@@datruefreeman180 You misread the original post
Wow, this guy is really bad. Worst than RG3. Waste of a pick. He never throws within the timing frame of the plays, waits until someone opens up after the plays are broken, and has chicken feet that always runs outta pocket. Horrible.
They didn't learn from 2012. 🤣🤣🤣
HTTR!!!
Should have picked Drake smh oh well..
🅿️
The NFL is going to eat this kid up like he’s at a diddy party
Best QB in the draft. That’s who I wanted at number 1 but not mad at having Caleb.
oh no. rg3 2.0.
Fym oh no rg3 was amazing those old coaches f’d him up and that won’t happen again with how they protect qbs now
Right
@@petersxn6832 we can theorize all day but why even risk it? The risk heavily outweighs the reward here considering all the QBs available.
RG3 could never throw with that accuracy and anticipation.
He’s awful. Woof
Idk why they’re even showing the highlights they did. These aren’t from this past season. Go look at this years highlights from his heisman campaign. He made serious strides in his game. Like huge strides
I mean, he was the best player in college football. Using your logic every single college football player is awful. lol
150% bust
Bears gonna regret not picking him
His runs are better than his throws
@zackweston58 Caleb Williams is gonna be the only bust in the 1st ten picks
