0:58 Fun fact - Bronzong is one of two Pokemon lines that gets Levitate AND other abilities. Most Pokemon with Levitate tend to get it as their only option, but Bronzong also has access to Heatproof (if you'd prefer to mitigate its fire weakness) and Heavy Metal (if you just really like Heavy Slam). For anyone curious, the other Pokemon to experience Schrodinger's gravity is Weezing, and only from gen 8 onward. Edit: As fabimoor5128 pointed out in the replies, there is a third Pokemon with this property: Duskull - as of receiving its hidden ability. It is just Duskull, though, as Dusclops and Dusknoir lose Levitate for Pressure.

Wolfe forgot something about Aegislash, the speed stat. It was made to be slow where it played to its advantage. Its speed meant it would be normally last, but it would be in its shield form, meaning it would take the hit well. But if it gets outsped, then wouldn't it mean it would get one shot in blade form the next turn? Well, then it would change to blade form to smack someone hard. Next turn, the priority King's Sheild would activate first, bringing it out of that vulnerable form and return to square one. It was really hard to get rid of

I was wondering the same thing, I guess the ones shown at the start are effectively the honorable mentions. Removing its mega and not giving Mawile any more love afterwards is sad to see.
Personally, I think they went _too far_ with Aegislash's nerfs. They didn't need to reduce its stats, remove its ability to learn Toxic, AND nerf King's Shield all at the same time... I feel like game developers do that A LOT. A character is a really strong dominating competitive threat, so they come up with a list of ways to nerf it, and instead of only picking one, they just do _all of them._ imo they should revert the stat nerf. Losing Toxic and King's Shield only lowering attack by one stage is plenty. (Fun Fact: Because of Aegislash's stat nerfs, Aegislash now has a _lower_ defense stat than its pre-evolution Doublade).
Wait, it can't learn toxic anymore? The move pretty much every Pokémon besides some babies and specific sucky Pokémon can't learn? (Like Magicarp) If you would transfer a Duoblade all the way from X/Y to the newest gen, would it still have the move though? King Shield wa sindeed busted, so lowering one stage is plenty. The stat nerf is just too much on top of everything. I know some MEta-strats for some Pokémon needed a specific Instance of a Pokémon where it learned a specific move that it couldn't learn in other generations. Like for a while, you could only get Bounce on Gyrados through the sleep-thing from B/W and you had to transfer the Magicarp from version to version.
@@Aurirang Pretty sure even if you transfer one up it can't use it, otherwise competitive players would have done it already. (I can only assume that its probably the same thing as when you transfer a Pokemon with a move that no longer exists to Sword and Shield, it just won't let you use it in battle).
when you finish each type-based video, i hope a “best of the best” video wraps up the series! Would be so cool to see you rank the #1 picks from each type to pick the best one of all
21:27 I think it is because Celesteela is inspired by a japanese myth related to a plant (so it having a grass type move has some sense).
