what's funny, but also kind of messed up, is that competing male bower birds will go to each others nests and mix the red flowers with the blue and etc… So when the male that built it comes back he's all hectic and OCD being like
aaaaah "this isn't right" and will end up tearing everything apart to start over.

*This is true* - they are incredible perfectionists and spend hours picking out very specific and unique details for their intricate bowers. I have watched this full documentary, and honestly it is a wonderfully moving experience as it shows these creatures displaying their natural sensitivity to beauty, symmetry, etc - interpreted in their own way of course (a piece of shiny foil might be “beautiful”) but it is extraordinary to watch. One bower bird loved bits of colored glass and would spend hours flying around to find them, and he would spend long amounts of time positioning every piece of glass just so and changing the glass mosaic if a new piece didn’t seem to match. It is honestly a sort of spiritual experience - watching them create art and beauty in their own worlds to attract love (basically the motivation for all art - we all want love).

There have been many studies done on this bird of paradise. They have found that the arrangements they create and their preferences are learned not inherited. They have observed older birds during the time it takes them to create their bower. Also, there are variations in the architecture of the bower itself: some will trade in the traditional hut you see here for one or two towers, or perhaps a four-walled box. Animal origins of art.

With non-monogamous birds, mating tends to be more of a business transaction than anything. The male demonstrates that he'll yield powerful offspring, the female agrees, they mate, and then they go their separate ways--the female leaving to lay and rear her eggs as a single parent while the male stays behind and repeats the process with more females.

Unsure if this is a derivative of Dutch, but if it is ... Vogelkop literally translates to "bird head" or "bird's head".
    Bird head bird.

Which God exactly? Osiris? Zeus? Mithra? Set? Enki? Enlil? Attis? Ahura Mazda? Dionysus? Krishna? Thor? All of them? None of them? Or is it that one God that happens to be prevalent in the culture and family you happen to live in? Or is God just how you describe that warm and cozy feeling inside? Such an addicting feeling...

So then yours is The One, The Only true God that just so happens to be prevalent in the family and culture in which you were raised.
It may be worth acknowledging that the tens of millions of people who believed in all those other gods (and people who believe in other gods today) believed theirs is The One true God just as surely as you believe yours is The One true God. What makes them wrong and you right?

I am a person with a renewed view of life... And I am not affiliated with any of the above mentioned cults. I believe and worship the true King of Kings and live under the influence of the Kingdom of Heaven. Anything other than that is second-class and it nothing more than just empty religion.
