To protect yourself from the envy of others, you can turn those enemies into allies... if they want to be your allies. The secret is to know how to differentiate who is interested in being helped by you and who are the toxic people who just want to watch you fail.
If you have any success in your personal or professional life, it is quite likely that sooner or later you will have to live with people who are jealous of your happiness. When this happens, what can you do to protect yourself from the envy of others?
How about, instead of going to the confrontation, approach the envious person, offer help and make them also have some of their own success?
Help the envious. If everything goes well, you stop having an envious person in your life and start having an ally.

Idk...I rather have people like that out of my life. Even if you helped them, they'll always want more than you

Unfortunately, anyone toxic enough to take swings at you, will only bring you down if you keep spending time around them. GET AWAY FROM THEM. Envious people are usually envious for a reason, they spend their energy on the wrong things, more than likely they’ll fail and take it out on you anyway. Your good deed will be punished.

Yes, I have tried that too. It only made them worse.

This is very true and really happening with my family right now. Actually we are in the situation that we really need to help with authority since it comes to the worst situation that they really meant to threat and harm us. Thank you for the lesson, I really learn a lot. I hope we can get this through. It is really frustrating.
