Korg ended up in prison because he tried to start a revolution but didn't print enough pamphlets; Paper defeated Rock, then later he steps on Miek and thinks he killed him. Rock defeats scissors.
Now it needs to be canon that it was Miek who actually destroyed the rest of the paper to print out the pamphlets; Scissors beats Paper. And now it's come full circle :)
Oh, my gosh!! I can't believe I never even connected that before!! 🤣Nick and Quynh watching "Dogma" will probably have to wait a bit since it's still not available anywhere (in streaming or physical media) but, that will change since it's coming back in theaters very soon!!! 🥳
The Grandmaster and The Collector (Guardians of the Galaxy) are brothers. Immortal Elders of the Universe. The first species created by the Celestials.
The Elders of the Universe are not all one species. They are each the last of their species. Which flies in the face of the idea that the Grandmaster and the Collector are brothers. But what are you gonna do?
The worthiness enchantment on Mjolnir didn't exist when Hela wielded it back in the old days. We saw Odin create that enchantment in Thor 1 when he banished Thor to Earth. As for catching and destroying Mjolnir, that was simply Hela's level of magical power, she was able to override the enchantment.
@@meewec2091 she wielded Mjolnir a few thousand years ago, when she was Odin's right hand, leading the forces of Asgard in battle as they conquered the Nine Realms. The original ceiling mural in Asgard's throne room depicted her holding Mjolnir.
The line when Thor sees the Hulk for the first time and says "He's a friend from work", actually came from a Make-a-Wish kid who was visiting the set that day and suggested Thor say that. Pretty awesome.
And, if I remember correctly, the little story Thor tells about Loki turning into a snake to scare him was ad-libbed, and that's Tom's real reaction trying not to laugh.
They did not create the Grandmaster just for Jeff Goldblum. He’s a character from the comics. In fact, I think he’s supposed to be The Collector’s brother.
1:19:50 so many cameos in that Loki play scene! Besides Matt Damon as Loki, there was Luke Hemswoth (Chris' brother) playing Thor and Sam Neil (of Jurassic Park fame) playing Odin!
This is my FAVORITE Marvel movie ❤❤ hilarious, doesn't take itself seriously but also doesn't poopoo the fans, perfect music, gorgeous sets, heck of a power up, it's just perfect.
You are part of my favorite reaction channels. A great couple who has creative insight into the movies they watch and honest reactions to them. It’s always fun to visit these good people. I always get a unique perspective from them that I can add to my own. Thank you for the invitation to watch with you. ✌️😊💕
Fun fact thor story about loki turning into a snake then switching back and stabbing him was improv by chris hemsworth. They show loki smiling after it which is tom hiddleston trying not to laugh at the story as he wasnt expecting it
I love watching people falling in love with Korg. Best character voiced by the director Taika Waititi. I had been a fan of Taika Waititi’s work for years before this and I could really feel the Kiwi and Aussie humour shining through. It was filmed in Australia, but then, just in the main cast you had Aussies and Kiwis in Chris Hemsworth, Cate Blanchett, Rachel House, Karl Urban, and of course Waititi. Then there were amazing cameos like Luke Hemsworth, Sam Neil, Steven Oliver, there are so many talented Aussie and Kiwis in this film and don’t count out the Hemsworth’s yet… cousin to Thor, Taylor Hemsworth can be found in here as a college girl.
Good point on Odin's power. One thing that played out in the MCU that makes a lot of sense is that Thanos was cautious about going after the Infinity Stones with Odin (and Ego) alive. With both of them gone, that's two major players in the universe, who would NOT want him to get the Infinity stones, who were more powerful than Thanos, now out of the picture.
- Another point regarding Odin's power: Odin defeated Surtur & we just saw Surtur take down Hela. - Hulk being a gladiator on Sykaar was taken from the Planet Hulk comic book series. In the comics, it was Silver Surfer who Hulk had beaten. There is also an animation movie of Planet Hulk. They could not use Silver Surfer so it was Beta Ray Bill beaten by Hulk. - Thor Ragnarok made it look questionable if Hulk could beat Thor. Thor did level up in power, but it was clear he still did not inherit the Odin Force at this time.
Hulk didn’t really beat surfer in the comic. Surfer didn’t have the power cosmic and they actually jumped surfer. Also Thor didn’t really level up in power hell his fight against the frost giants still was more impressive than anything we see in this movie.
I cannot *wait* to see her reactions to both, the full on ugly cry (if she can even be ugly!) is gonna be off the scale. Tissues and drinks for rehydration!
Korg is played by director taika waititi. When korg said about a fork spear that you could kill 3 vampires at once with it. I thought it was an inside joke as he co created and starred in vampire movie what we do in the shadows as a vampire.it was rhen made into a series.
Best part of this movie is Hulk ragdolling Thor like he did to Loki in the first Avengers movie. I find it hilarious though that that's the same actor who played Julius Caesar on Xena: Warrior Princess playing Skurge, Karl Urban Two points: 1. Loki looks DAMN good in Earth clothes 2. Hulk's mental capacity depends on how Bruce transforms. If he does it willingly, like in the Battle in New York, he has complete control over himself and he speaks more clearly. But if he gets triggered into changing by something outside of his control, Hulk will be a living battering ram with, as Tony Stark once said....BREATHTAKING anger management issues.
That's a deep pull for Karl Urban. I'd go with Billy Butcher from The Boys, Leonard "Bones" McCoy from the new Star Trek, the good Judge Dredd, or Éomer in Lord Of The Rings.
This one threw me off when I first watched it. Initially, I didn't like the jokey tone, but after I came back to it, it really did become one of, if not my favorite Thor movie. I also love what it did for Loki's arc, moving him into a new direction. More than just a trickster.
of course y’all post this as soon as i leave for work for the night 😭 this is in my top 3 of the MCU and i know you guys will adore it, cannot wait to watch when i get home later ❤️
Fantastic reaction as always! I cannot get enough of her reactions. AND...we're SO CLOSE to Infinity War, which I cannot wait for. She is not ready, LOL.
Kate Blanchett (Hela) played both the evil queen of Asgard and the good queen of the elves (Fellowship of the Ring). Hulk is a separate personality than Bruce. Since he's been in control for two years, he has matured to pre-school age as far as language and temperament. Babies only get angry and cry. Hulk can now talk in addition to smashing things.
Fun facts: Chris's older brother Luke played Thor in the play (and of course Matt Damon played Loki while Sam Neill played Odin). Also, when casting for the first movie, their younger brother Liam had been considered for the role. The barber who cuts Thor's hair is Stan Lee, executive producer and co-creator of this and The Incredible Hulk. Chris and Tessa Thompson (Valkyrie) also starred together in Men in Black: International, which I highly recommend!
So this was the best Thor movie and managed to improve Thor. As a comic book nerd, I knew his powers were gonna come eventually. I’ve seen him flown without his hammer twice. Cage Blanchett did a great job as Hela, hopefully she comes back to the MCU I don’t know. I wish we got more of Gladiator Hulk since that’s popular in the comics.
Wouldn’t call it improving Thor if you know comics this ruined a lot of stories. This was more of what a Hercules movie should be like. Thor needed a cosmic winter solider type movie.
Funniest part to me about this movie is Valkyrie not knowing banner is Hulk but then doesn’t think twice to even check on him or try and help him escape😭😭
The only plothole in this movie is that Grandmaster acts like he's never heard of Thor & Loki before but he's millions of years old and super powerful so he definitely would've known about Odin right? And Thor is at least 1000 years old so I feel like he definitely would know of them
This movie single-handedly repaired what was formerly a weak link in the MCU onslaught, and pulled millions more fans into the Infinity Saga with its strong combo of continuity and comedy. It's a shame that they gave #4 to Taika as well though, since he apparently doesn't know how to do anything other than light-hearted comedy.
Very nice reaction video from both of you to this hilarious and entertaining movie ! Nick, if you liked Thor's entrance in a scene in this movie, just wait. Soon you'll see Thor in the most badass entrance ever in any MCU film !
3 things.Karl Urban who was Skurge was in all 3 Lord of the Rings movies .And he played Bones in the reboot of the Star Trek Movies .Next movie --Avengers:Infinity War .The bad guy in this movie Thanos would make Darth Vader crap him self. Then the 2nd Ant Man movie.

In actual Norse mythology, Hel is the daughter of Loki and the giantess Angrboða, along with Jormungand (the world serpent) and Fenris (the wolf). In Norse mythology, the dead go to either Valhalla (hall of warriors in Asgard), Folkvangr (field of warriors in Vanaheim) or Helheim (realm of the dead). Unlike Marvel’s depiction of Hel, she was pretty neutral and Helheim is simply where the dead reside. Though the thing I find most ridiculous about Marvel’s version is the presence of civilian people on Asgard, the realm of war gods and home to an unfathomable army of fallen warriors.
Sweeeet! My favourite Solo Franchise MCU movie, and definitely the best Thor film. Also the "Immigrant Song" Music Vid I made from this is by far the most successful thing on my crappy little channel. I raise my glass to Nick (formerly Thor) and Quỳnh for improving my Sunday dramatically. 🥃☮❤
I was waiting for this reaction. If you liked Thor and the Valkyrie together I recommend continuing the MIB movies. Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson are a duo in the 4th film "Men in Black: International". I think people don't like it as much as the first three, but I really enjoyed it. And although I would suggest to watch all of them (at least the third one), it's not really necessary, since you already know the world of Agent K and Agent J due to your reaction to the first movie. And I'm looking forward to your reactions to the rest of the MCU.
This is hands down my favorite Thor movie. I don't know why people say it's awful, it's so funny and cool. And I'm sorry but Hela is my gurl. She's endearing.
New fan here! Was going to suggest avatar the last air bender but saw you started it but never ended up continuing. Hope you maybe return to that one day!
Korg ended up in prison because he tried to start a revolution but didn't print enough pamphlets; Paper defeated Rock, then later he steps on Miek and thinks he killed him. Rock defeats scissors.

Loki having immediate PTSD when Hulk shows up and then relishing in seeing his brother get brutally thrown around is honestly comedy gold
1:19:47 The reason why Matt Damon was Loki in the play is because he played a character named Loki in Dogma, which is ANOTHER MUST SEE!!!
Oh, my gosh!! I can't believe I never even connected that before!! 🤣Nick and Quynh watching "Dogma" will probably have to wait a bit since it's still not available anywhere (in streaming or physical media) but, that will change since it's coming back in theaters very soon!!! 🥳
"I HAVE BEEN FALLING. . .FOR THIRTY MINUTES!!!!"
The Grandmaster and The Collector (Guardians of the Galaxy) are brothers. Immortal Elders of the Universe. The first species created by the Celestials.
Also, I heard somewhere, if a species is down to its last being(s), the universe will just make them immortal
The Elders of the Universe are not all one species. They are each the last of their species. Which flies in the face of the idea that the Grandmaster and the Collector are brothers. But what are you gonna do?

@@pacmon5285it is kinda weird that Loki never shape shifts but I guess it could have been an illusion
I'm 53 and as a lifelong comic book nerd, this is my alltime favourite MCU flick. It's a perfect comic book movie. Fantastic.
They did not create the Grandmaster just for Jeff Goldblum. He’s a character from the comics. In fact, I think he’s supposed to be The Collector’s brother.
But they definitely modified his personality for Jeff Goldblum. Which is a good thing - he wasn't nearly as interesting in the comics.
Quynh is such a joy to watch with this one especially 😂😂😂
Glad you two had a lot of fun with the movie. Someone was dying of laughter in this video, lol
11:37 Holy shit that joke took me out. That was a quick one Nick. "Fight for medical" 😂😂😂
1:19:50 so many cameos in that Loki play scene! Besides Matt Damon as Loki, there was Luke Hemswoth (Chris' brother) playing Thor and Sam Neil (of Jurassic Park fame) playing Odin!
@peterkoester7358 omg I never realised that was sam!!!! X
I forgot that was Luke. But I've hardly seen him in anything. Never mind with the full Thor hair and beard.
Quynh (hope I spelled that right) when Fenrir showed up is so me lmao „oh my gosh big doggy😍“
Hahahaha. I'm totally convinced she is the best reactor on the planet 🤣🤣🤣🤣
she seem to be dumb

22:04 I'm fairly sure that's a reference to What We Do in the Shadows, a Taika Waititi, who voices Korg, movie that centers around three vampires.
Lol at the reference to Galadriel's hair like 2 minutes before she shows up on screen.
- Another point regarding Odin's power: Odin defeated Surtur & we just saw Surtur take down Hela.
