I’ll be honest, I’m not sure it will happen but I want FE engage to make additional waves like in Smash. I want to see six more emblems interact with the other main emblems in the game. Micaiah-Sothe, Celica-Alm, Sigurd-Seliph, Leif-Nanna, Roy-Lillina, and Eirika-Lyon.
Now that we have Veronica, I rather wonder what her interaction with an emblem Xander would be like. He probably wouldn't remember her, considering that all of Heroes likely either hasn't happened or would never happen for him, but she certainly does.
What would’ve been interesting in the dlc xenolouge would be if the emblem rings react towards the corruption of their companions in the bracelets. Lucina seeing Chrom and Robin red would’ve given for a sad conversation.
I guess they really wanted to push sales for the DLC, and Camilla just sells better than Azura sadly (didn't help it got localized as "Emblem of Revelation" instead of "Emblem of Conquest.")

You have to know that Engage is a anniversary game for the 35th years of Fire Emblem games. So let's say the fanservice is good and HUGE and they used it as a big part of the new gameplay of Engage : The Emblem Rings. Each ring is possesed by an Emblem a protagonist from the previous Fire Emblem, you probably know Marth, Ike, Roy, Lucina, Corrin and Byleth from Smash bros, here they are. The others emblems you see our protagonists fighting are members of the roster of their game. For example, Hector is one of the 3 main protagonists : Lyn, Hector, Eliwood (who is Roy's father btw). Soren is a member of the Greil's mercenaries and is the strategist of his group. Camilla is Corrin's adoptive big sister.
Sorry, I know this is 7 months old, but it's clarified by the Emblems themselves in the game that they aren't the actual people from previous games. Rather, they're imprints that are based on their stories and deeds. It's why at the start of the game, Marth clarifies "I'm Marth. Emblem Marth, to be precise." He's not actually Marth, he's just a spirit who is imprinted with his deeds and tales. This makes Emblems akin to AI programmed to act and think like those people, with the programming being done by the outside influence of their legends. In fact, Emblems are something akin to naturally-ocurring phenomena in the setting of Fire Emblem Engage. They formed naturally in respons to those legends.

Seemingly all three. Corrin has Hoshidan weapons but Nohrian skills, and acknowledges that Anankos is the big bad behind everything. Camilla confirms having been through Conquest and Revelation back to back, and is fought on a Birthright map.

I've been dying to see my boi Hector in 3D for... wow, over half my life now. I wished so hard he'd be in Smash every time, only to get my hopes dashed again and again, lol. Probably nothing. There was nothing when I brought Camilla to Corrin's paralogue.
