Hi my loves!! I hope everyone is having a great week so far! I wanted to post this video to talk about some of my favorite summer beauty products!! I wanted to leave out makeup products for this video because otherwise it would have been WAY too long. I plan on doing another video next month where I will mention some makeup products I love for the summer time!! Some of these products have been my favorites for awhile - while others are new favorites. Like I said in the video - for most of the products the brand name doesn't matter. As long as it does what you want it to do. These are the ones that i've tried out and loved :) I hope this video is helpful of those looking to glisten this summer!!! You are so right about SPF! I had a skin cancer scare was I was 20, then my mom's BFF died of skin cancer (melanoma) at 42. I haven't laid out in the sun in 17 years and it used to kill me. But now I'm 37 and I'm always asked what I do to have great skin...stay out of the sun. Thank God the sunless tanning and bronzers are so good now. No need to ruin your skin. :)

Carli Thank you so much for talking about how important it is to protect your skin by using a SPF. I use to love being in the sun and getting tan. Didn't use a sun screen because I just knew getting skin cancer wouldn't happen to me. Well I have had Melanoma and then 6 months later Basil cell Cancer in two different areas. I know you have a lot of followers and I just think it's awesome that you emphasized importance of an SPF. Love watching your videos and Brett as well. You've given this older lady some very helpful tips. Thank you.
Carli, you should try African black soap for your eczema. It would help you immensely with the itching and use the net along with your first aid beauty cream I think it will be the perfect combo. But yeah go on Amazon and get the African black soap, your skin will thank you for it.

i dont know if you have or not, but if it gets bad, you can get a lotion or gcream prescribed to you by a dermatoligist. they might reccomend or prescribe a soap to you. been there done that 😂

And yes ladies, the one that they sell at the drugstore is very good. I think the brand name it's called SheaMoisture, I have it and it's actually extremely moisturizing. But the one that I am recommending Carli is the one that you can get on Amazon (sorry I wasn't specific when I previously wrote the comment) and I believe it goes by Raw African Black Soap from Ghana and it comes in bars. It's like the real deal and people swear by it. Not just for eczema very dry skin but for acne as well.. Also, unlike the name the soap doesn't actually look completely black (so be aware of those soaps that look charcoal black) for but almost marbleized brown, tan and black tones. That's the next one I want to get once I am done with this bottle. If the one you can buy at the drugstore is this good imagine how good the raw one can be.

You couldn't be any more beautiful Carli Bybel !! Thank you for all these great summer items, a lot of these are new to me so thanks for sharing! I really value your opinion. I really like organic, unrefined coconut oil (any time of the year really). It adds great moisture and shine to the legs as well as some minor SPF. Also, its really good to apply to your hair after you have been swimming and leave it on like a treatment. The added coconut smell is nice for the summer too!

One of my all time summer favorites is the Olay in shower body lotion. It's a life changer, saves so much time, and makes my skin feel awesome right out of the shower. You can also add another moisturizer on top and it's not sticky at all!

Your makeup is always so flawless!! A great drugstore moisturizer with spf30 is aveenos positively ageless, it works so well! Boots botanics has a rose spray as well and it's so refreshing, I haven't tried Mario's. The soya want it all from sexy hair keeps my curly frizzy hair from getting wild in the heat and it's a must have

I am happy you mentioned about sunscreen. My must have beauty product all year around since I live in Hawaii is Paula's Choice sunscreen in SPF 50. I also use a sun umbrella whenever I go outside. I know most people wouldn't do that, but it works for me.

Some of my my Summer must haves: John Fredia sea salt spray, Hawaiian Tropics face lotion + spf 30, the glimmer/shimmer lotions from Bath & Body Works, Lush R&B leave in hair conditioner, Lush Ocean Salt face and body scrub, Escada perfumes (I collect the LE summer ones and love rotating between them all!)

My must have beauty product for summer is something i recently bought and i LOVE IT.
It is the NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer that has SPF 30.
It is the perfect summer-makeup item! It feels so good on the skin (especially for dry-skinned girls like myself) and it has the SPF of 30.
I LOVE it.
Instead of buying different shades of darker foundation... I wonder if I could put a drop of the dally Hansen lotion in my lighter foundation to make darker? Thoughts?

A must-have year round for me is the Udderly Smooth moisturizers! They literally save my LIFE in the winter and in the summer when my elbows and legs/hands get super dry! They have hand creams and body creams that are absolutely amazing and super thick and not greasy. It's also not strong scented so it doesn't interfere with perfumes and stuff :) trust me it's amazing it makes you feel like baby skin!

I love putting on any SPF balm I have and letting that set, then applying any sort of lip tint/stain over it. It's a great summer trick to make your naturally enhanced lips last a long time with protection ! (:

Laura Mercier Indiscretion Face Illuminator is my favorite thing this summer. It gives such a beautiful, sun kissed glow to tanned skin.
the body shop also has a tanning shimmer type of dry oil for your body I use it on my legs. Its called honey bronze i love it
Literally and lifesaver are the words of the day! Lol! I love using Creme blushes and coconut oil for my hair and skin for extra moisture and a fresh scent during the summer!
Loving Tan 2 hr express deluxe bronzing mousse! it's amazing and I get so many compliments on how natural it looks. It has a natural olive tone so it's more brown and doesn't have that fake orange tint.

I have so many facial sprays. In the summer keep one in your fridge! A blotting sheet even though generally my skin is dry, but in summer I use one down the center of my face. Fresh Black Tea mask. Nivea Lip Balm in Olive Oil and Lemon, a good spf and I can not live without Cult 51 Night Cream (it seriously has changed my life)
Must try: Coola SPF 30 Make up setting spray. It's sold at Sephora, I love the fact that it keeps me matte throughout the day and I can reapply this every 2 hours while keeping my makeup in tact
