Steve Carell acting as Michael Scott, who is auditioning for the lead of Sweeney Todd for a local play, by acting out an episode of Law and Order…. Is one of funniest ideas ever😂😂😂
His "clank-clank" was too harsh. He lost the Sweeny. The best scene from this episode is his glass bottle rolling from the audience all the way to the stage lol Andy almost has an aneurysm.
He was nominated 6 times and never won which is a shame. The bittersweet moments in Goodbye Michael or hilarious moments in Dinner part were superb and he was cheated out of an award
@@aryan0111 Hollywood doesn't want guys like them wining. Just regular looking guys, men who don't flash or try to sell you a lifestyle. Shame cause they're both amazing and have created great work.
Bob auditioned for the role of Michael Scott, but obviously didn't get it. I think they later brought him on as the "Michael Scott of Philadelphia"...when Pam interviewed for a job near Jim's new company. Showing him that they also knew his worth
@@jenniferwhite2945 yes, I know he auditioned for the part, and I remember in the final season in The Office when got her a job in Philly but it was strictly a receptionist plus Bob Odenkirk’s Boss character was like an extreme, unlikable version of Michael and he was so obnoxious she high tailed it out of there right away 😱😱
I don't know why but something about the chocolate turtle guy's performance is just so fantastic. His utter bewilderment at Michael and Dwight's antics, and his embarrassment at having already eaten the turtles is just so funny. Great delivery!
The scene with the murder mystery where Jim talks to him and he immediately snaps out of it and tells Jim that the Office needs it for distraction. I love that scene
I remember seeing the "oh god please no!" as a meme about a thousand times before I ever saw a single episode and to finally watch the show from beginning to end and see the context for that moment was just absolutely hilarious.
The clip with Michael's actual last day was definitely not acting. Those were their real goodbyes--in fact, it likely took acting to CONTAIN their emotions that day.
@Fallen Program they actually are super close. they’ve all stated in multiple interviews that they felt like a second family to each other, and that michael leaving and the finale were two of the hardest episodes to film
@Fallen Program they were actually, the actors talked about it in a podcast. several scenes took longer to film because they couldn't contain their tears
Am watching The Office for the first time now, and am in love with all the characters, but I think Michael is my favorite. I love how he switches from lovable goofball to narcissistic monster in a split second, and then back again, and you go back from loving him to wanting to punch him. Steve Carell was amazing.
I truely believe that Michael Scott is the actual person and Steve Carell was just a character. Once you loved Michael Scott, you can never look at him as Steve Carell ever.
Pam saying goodbye to Michael is forever the greatest moment in TV history. Their entire relationship is the greatest thing in history. Also Toby and Michael's relationship is the greatest in history. This entire show, is the greatest in history.
If only you’ve extended the clip little bit more after michael said goodbye to holly. I mean the mixture of emotions he had to play on the way back with Darrel is a complete masterpiece.
@@blugreen123 Hugh Laurie has been in far better shows and given far better performances than House. But I do agree. That man deserves every award under the sun.
Why are you pointing out Jim Parsons specifically? BBT was an awful show, but I'm not sure I'd consider him a bad actor... did I miss something down the line?
When Michael absolutely LOSES IT over Toby being back at the office, that has to be one of the funniest moments of TV ever filmed. I still laugh at that part uncontrollably. Its never going to stop being funny.
You know, I'm glad that Michael told Oscar "I drove my car into a fucking lake." I like Oscar, but he can be a bit much. It's nice to see Michael actually standing up for himself for once.
I never noticed this till the scene when Michael was leaving, but whenever Jim would notice Michael is getting nervous or out of control he always says "Hey, can I talk to you for a second?" Every time. And I like that small attention to detail. ♡
This mans is a great actor and even in that series The Patient he was amazing. I know it's not Steve's fault but whenever I was watching the Patient and he yelled for whatever reason I laughed because I always thought of that one scene at 9:00

the law and order song part tho hahaahaha
