I recently bought this reel and I’m in love already lol bought it from Chris’s website too! I’ve only own shimano reels but I’m definitely keeping this one! Thanks for the awesome video
The fun thing is... it's the lefthand model, which means you're a right hander. You hold the (heavy) rod and reel with your (strong) right hand and use the (weak) left hand for reeling in...

I’d say I buy 80% of my reels from him lol you can’t beat his prices!! His only downfall is that so many people have found out about he can’t keep everything in stock 😂😂
How heavy are the lures you throw for largemouth. I’m looking for a reel to use for musky where the average Lure weight is 2-3 ounces. And hoping the t wing might help it cast further than my other reels.
@@scottb4540 I really feel like I get better casting distance with. Especially with something that large that is usually a little bulky the T Wing really helps with those 40-50 yard casts
I have the SV tws and I love that reel!! I want to get a few more of them! I'd love to try the 300, but I do not have a swimbait rod yet. All in good time.
I recently got a 7’9” heavy Tatula swimbait rod (1-6oz rating) to throw 6” hudds, glide baits in the 200 or below range around 3 oz, and a rigs. Would this reel be overkill, and should I look toward the Tatula 200?
Hi. Cool video. The lures I will be casting will range from 2.8 oz to 4 oz. Wondering if this reel will be just right or if a 200 would be more suitable?
It's Roland mcClendon I'm your subscriber looking for more information about the diawa tatula 300 can you do a video diawa tatula 300 vs lew's super duty 300 please

That is one video I have been wanting to do! I don’t have the Curado 300 but I do know a bit about it. For one the Curado 300 comes in with a much lower gear ratio which some people prefer especially your cranking. In relation to swimbaits and A Rigs which is what this video is for I’m going to compare the 6.6:1 to the 6.3:1. The Daiwa comes in at 11.4 ounces compared to the Shimano coming in at 10.4. So the Shimano is a whole ounce lighter. The Daiwa is a 7+1 bearing system to a 5+1 bearing system so the Daiwa will be a little smoother to me. The Daiwa is also going to hold 35 more feet with a 14/215 vs the Shimano having a 14/180. All in all looking at the numbers I feel like they’re both great reels but I’m giving the advantage to Daiwa. I’m going to order the Curado 300 now so I can do that review video 😂😂
@@MichaelKnappFishing i ordered the curado 300 couple days ago just waiting for it.. have the 200 liked that 1 so figured I'd get the 300, can't wait to use it.. setting up my 1st ever swimbait rod 🙂🎣.. thanks for responding.. oh what kind of line do u like to use and lb test for swimbaits.

Es recomendable en agua salada??
Estoy indeciso entre un tranx 400 y tatula 300
sizes? weights? internals?
The Tatula is one of my favorite reels I really like them
Me too man! Love all of my Tatulas! This 300 is a BEAST!
You shouldn’t have to touch that tension knob basically at all. The 0-20 setting on the side should be all you need. I love these reels
Good to know! I definitely had just a little adjusting but I could see that I may not need it!
Haha Stewart is literally where I got mine from! 💯🤙🏾

I’m throwing 4-8 ounces with it majority of the time. It’s a great reel for that!
@@MichaelKnappFishing Do you think the two wing increases casting distance over other good reels? Or is it a gimmick?

what's the difference between abu Garcia Revo beast? i wonder which one have bigger spool and how much the spool weight?
