I just watched this video, very cool! I searched for any UoW varsity jackets, however almost all of them from the 60's have a "W" on them...that said one NEVER knows, maybe there was one specific year where it was a "V" with the s in it. I choose to believe that it is a very high possible and keep the hope alive lol. Also, maybe Bruce who was dapper didn't buy from the University store and instead saw the sweater thought it looked cool and bought it 😀

A way to know would be to see if there's any authentic Bruce Lee pieces of clothing with the exact same label in the same font. I’m sure he would have used this exact same label with many pieces of clothing. Shannon Lee of course would be able to know if this label is on any clothing in her collection but it would be hard to get access to her unfortunately

Hi Charles! What up Hector! Interesting thought,what if? I love a good mystery. He lived in Seattle,finished High school there,and went to college there as well. Could it have been a gift from Linda Cartwright to him when they first met. To me just the fact that Hector has this pc. And the excitement in his face and yours was priceless! This is all about fun collecting,is or isn't Bruce Lee's doesn't matter. What matters was it was a rare find, Hector now owns it period. I would've done the same exact thing. Fact-it's from the 60s,fact-it's from Seattle, fact- Bruce Lee's name is in it. Fact- Bruce did make it a habit of putting his name in his clothing. To many coincidences, maybe Shannon lee,or linda lee Cartwright could shed some light on it someday. For now let it remain a mystery,let us all enjoy this wonderful treasure along with you. Paula the sweater was not authenticated so we do not know for sure and the GOD tracksuit was purchased in 70’s as a reproduction of the original and signed by all 3 of Bruce Lees opponents in GOD. Enjoy today’s episode! Thanks for your comments!

The very first thing that I thought after I saw the “S” when Mr. Martinez first revealed it, was that it could be Bruce Lee’s University of Seattle sweater.
Yes, hopefully if you are able to get a hold of her, especially through Shannon Lee (respectively), Ms. Linda Lee Cadwell would definitely be able to answer that question.

Bruce Lee was such an inspiration (and continues to be) but of course family and good friends is what makes life what it is....life. I don’t depend on Bruce Lee for peace, I depend on God and my loved ones for that. These things become very dangerous and unhealthy when your life “depends” on it that you’d go out of your way to offend or insult or bring separation for the “cause of Bruce Lee.” The great thing about this hobby is getting to know amazing people like yourself and being part of a community is something you look forwards to. I worked for a building manager that was close to being as evil as the devil himself but coming home to my family and spending some time sharing my collection with the community made up for the stress of working with evil people. Thoroughly enjoyed this episode and of course my Brother Hector's great find as always he is like a rare item magnet. (LOL!) I wish him all the best on finding out the authenticity of this great find and if not well its a very beautiful vintage item to have. Going to approach a very serious issue here and I sincerely apologize for getting away from the issue of this awesome find which may or may not be authentic BUT we have a person in our group who has disrespected Me,My Brother Hector quite a few times. He is definitely a very negative individual and I read his latest comment and disrespect and while I do agree that not every everyone will have the same view or opinion not all of our collectibles are everyone's cup of Tea as Hector says. Some of our hard earned collectibles whether rare or not authentic or boot leg they are special to us and our collections. BUT you can voice your displeasure and or dislike with a item without being a "Negative Nancy" or very disrespectful to that collector sharing that special item of their collection. Interesting episode Charles! I have never seen any photos of Bruce wearing that in the early 1960's while living in Seattle. I have seen photos of Bruce wearing a University of Washington jacket from a 1963 photo while he sat next to Ed Parker Sr. and another of him with his father Lee Hoi Chuen in Hong Kong during his first visit back home in the summer of 1963. I actually was fortune enough to hold two of Bruce Lee's actual sweaters, his size 37 gung fu shoes and a signed book from Seattle while he lived in the attic at Ruby Chow's Restaurant! Got photos of that too!
jkdart1980 I’ve never seen any images of Bruce with this sweater either, would be a great day if I did! Then again he wouldn’t be photographed with everything he wore. I’m going to eventually reach out to his family and perhaps they may know something about it. In the meantime stay safe out there. ✌️
@@Urbankungfu61 yes, this is a hard one. The embroidered name tag on it has his name and he used to have his name on many of his items for sure... I think the only person that would truthfully know is Linda. Stay safe as well 👍

Interesting dilemma, outside of one of the family members or someone who is still alive who was around at that time to confirm the authenticity, this may remain a mystery. I would try to find out what if any varsity team Bruce was on. Also is this sweater of the period and place that he went to school. Find old photographs of someone else wearing that particular style of sweater. Bruce Lee is not that uncommon of a name so good luck. Would be pretty cool if it were his..

Keep me updated. I've managed to find 3 old Bruce Lee posters from a martial arts shop in London. I will make a video on them soon. Posters are made in Taiwan with white border as you may be aware. Got a ninja one too. If your interested please let me know as I can send you the details.

Hello Charles Hector ,Maybe try and find as many photos of Bruce where he could be wearing this top?? I do remember when I went to the Hong Kong Museum had some of Bruce's clothes on display was a very small frame of a man , unfortunately was not allowed to take photos of anything I saw. It could be possible it was his ?? But yeah we need Unsolved Mysteries or Sherlock Holmes for sure 😂 it's exciting 👏 well done guys,I am well nervous Charles you going to show my collection soon can't wait.👏😀 oh and stay safe with all the upset in the world at the moment ,watching your videos really dose take my mind off all the worry keep me positive Mr.Bruce and Brandon Lee👍.
Thanks Brother. I looked thru a lot of photos from the 50's and 60's that I could find and added them to the end o this episode. Oh also I remember at the museum in Hong Kong, there were a lot of Bruce's clothing that had his name sewed on as in full name and just the BL also.😊

Good question! I like to think about how to enjoy my collection while I am living and the joy and experiences and great memories they bring up....
We can always pass them down to our kids or close friends!

J W Thanks Brother. I’m looking for the photo lol! I did meet a “Bruce Lee” when I worked at the NBA and thought it was cool to have the same name so yes, there are others named Bruce Lee so it can go either direction. Thought it fun and intriguing to share! Thanks brother!
