1,2,3,4,5, how funny, I got a lot of the same new releases from market. My girlfriend and I went to our LNS on Saturday, I was amazed when I walked in this store. I asked a gal if they had the new market releases and she says come with me. She takes me a classroom in the back of the store that was filled with all the new releases. I was in heaven to say the least. Another gal that was shopping helped me find Chubby Bunny and I had a lovely conversation with her. I’m hoping that my girlfriend that took me to this store Stitchville USA in Minnetonka Minnesota, I’m hope she gets back into stitching so I have a stitch buddy. Have a very stitch week everyone.

Thank goodness for audiobooks. Never enough time to read or stitch! My favorite series of all time is Outlander by Diana Gabaldon, followed by Three Pines/Chief Inspector Armand Gamache series by Louise Penny. I really like historical fiction and have enjoyed all of the following: The Book of Lost Names by Kristin Harmel, The Tattooist of Auschwitz, Clika's Journey, and Three Sisters by Heather Morris, Nightingale by Kristin Hannah, All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr, Our Darkest Night by Jennifer Robson, and I just finished Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus. As always...thank you for your kindness and generosity. 1

The Chocolate Bunnies finish is FABULOUS ❤❤❤. I’m so glad you picked up Home Sweet Home from Brenda Gervais - that was one of my pre orders. AUDIBLE FAN with 1019 books in my library 😮😂. I’ve been binging on Patrica Cornwell (crime, suspense)- they are FREE in the Discover section 👍 ( I ran out of credits 🤣) I love being able to multitask. 1 3 4 5 See you for the finishing video 👏👏👏. I had kind of talked myself out of the finishing piece, then I saw yours ❤ Immediately jumped on Etsy to purchase 😉 Thank you for hosting these SALs and arranging finishing pieces, I really enjoy and appreciate your generosity ❤🕊️

I’m a total fan of James Patterson and Janet Evanovich. I enjoy audiobooks but there’s just something about a real book. It just feels so good putting down an electronic device and getting lost in the pages of a great read. Another great video too my friend. Love me some 1 and 5!♥️

1 2 3 4 5 Love your Fosstubes and look forward to each one! I have read all Louise Penny's books - I think there are 18 and you should read them in order - wonderful!! Right now I'm reading books by Kelly Harms. I've already read The Overdue Life of Amy Byler, The Seven Day Switch, The Bright Side of Going Dark. I'm now reading The Matchmakers of Minnow Bay and then will read Wherever The Wind Takes Us. The library is trying to find The Good Luck Girls of Shipwreck Lane for me! I have always loved to read and am always reading a book or two plus magazines, newspaper, etc. Thanks so much for all you share - it's always so much fun!!! XOXO

Nichol, LOVED your flosstube today and all of your stitching. So….I listen to flosstubes on my way to and from work. I do have an audio book suggestion though, it has been a while since I listened to this one but Stephen King 11/22/63 is awesome! Even love listening to the “reader”. The items 1 2 3 4 5 all would be great. Thanks for everything!

Hi Nichol. I enjoy listening to True Crime All The Time Podcast, Mike and Gibby do a great job of retelling crime stories. I also have had Audible for many years. One of my favorite authors is Lisa Wingate. She has a lot of good stories. Probably my favorite was Before We Were Yours. I also like Catherine Ryan Hyde books, the last one I listened to was So Long Chester Wheeler. 1 4 Have a great week.

1 2 3 4 5. As always, I love your projects and I’m glad to hear you took a few mental health days. They are definitely well deserved. As for books, I’m getting ready to read the newest J.R. Ward book. One thing I like to do is look at the free books. Many times they are the first book in a series. They get you hooked on the first free one, then you pay for the following ones. I’m fine with that. It’s a great way to find authors you may not have heard of. I’ll be reading the posts as well to see if something looks interesting. I absolutely devour my e-books and seem to forget to sleep when so I grossed.

Thank you for your video. I enjoy listening and seeing your progress on your projects each week. I love your finishes! I mostly listen to classical music on our public radio station while I stitch. But I also read quite a bit and listen to audio books I get from the public library or from Barnes and Noble digital library. I am big time into British mysteries and love all the Vera and Shetland stories from Ann Cleeves. I also like to re-read authors like P.D. James, Colin Dexter, Ruth Rendell. Lucy Foley and Donna Tartt are excellent choices for modern writers. Number 1.

Thank you for sharing your cute finishes and the WIPs you are currently working on too! Your purchases from your LNS were lots of fun to see and the Cedar River linen was gorgeous!! I’m going to look them up and purchase some too. Yeah for the sneak peek finish of More Chocolate Bunnies and it was so very cute❤️. I plan on watching Monday to see how you did the finishing. To give some audio book recommendations, I’ve enjoyed The Lions of Fifth Avenue by Fiona Davis(she has more good books), The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah, The Women of Chateau Lafayette by Stephanie Dray and America’s First Daughter by Stephanie Dray both historical fiction! 1,2

It was so fun to see all of your Market haul! I pre ordered a few charts, but haven’t received any of them yet 🫤. I’m all about the bees this year too, in fact, I think I’m going to dedicate 4-6 weeks to just stitch 🐝🐝🐝. I agree with you That Primrose Cottage charts are SO beautifully and thoughtfully made. I ❤️ the large, color charts and her layout is 💯. I’ll be in chat with you on 3/13 for the final week of the More Chocolate Bunnies Sal. Thx for that, its been very fun. Book ideas: 1) for fun & easy mystery listening, the Donna Andrews series. #1 = Murder with Peacocks. 2) The Woman in the Library, 3) The Midnight Library 4) Tender at the Bone, 5) The language of Flowers. Most of these were from my book club and I enjoyed them all. 2, 3, 4, 5 Btw, yes to vintage patterns every week.

You should do a what your reading segment in the flosstube each week. 🙂
I listen to audiobooks mostly while I stitch or watch TV. I’ve been reading a couple series by Jenny Colgan (especially like The Bookshop on the shore series) and books by Jasmine Guillory (The Wedding Date series). These are all available as audiobooks and the narrators are both really enjoyable to listen too.

I generally have a hard copy book and a kindle book going at the same time! There is something about the tangibility of an actual book I find I still appreciate! I’m new to Audiobooks and I’ve recently listened to a book I’ve previously read…The Wedding Veil…it’s about a few generations of women who wear the family heirloom veil…but it’s more than that…it’s about women.
I’m interested in the following giveaways…thank you for sharing your art and inspiring all of us!

I am also a reader, and limit my reading to about 1 hour a day except for Monday and sometimes Saturday, then as much as I want. I actually read while taking a morning bubble bath. This was my treat when I worked (I would get up an hour early knowing I would have no brain cells left in the evening) and I have continued since I retired. I just finished reading "Bluebird" by Sharon Cameron It was the $5 monthly Barnes and Nobles Cafe However, I really like murder mysteries James Patterson and Michael Conley my favorite Just found a couple of Michael Conley I missed and last week read "Void Moon" and today I'm starting another one. You purchased 2 of the market releases that caught my eye. Spring Awakens and Enchanted. However, my rule, I'm not allow to purchase until I finish Yes I finished Chocolate Bunnies but I just bought 3 patterns a couple of weeks ago, thanks to your flosstube. 1 2 3 4 5

I also like all genre as well. I just can't do the Audible books. Right now I'm not reading anything, but I have several to start. 1, 4, 5

I love listening to books on tape! Here are just a few
Hail Mary project - science fiction, book written by the same author, who wrote the Martian. Could be my favorite at it book on tape!
I’ve currently been on a Michael Connelly binge. The Harry Bosch books are amazing. I’ve been trying to listen to them in order most of them can be found on the Libby app and are free if you have a library card.
There are also a few Lincoln lawyer books by Michael Conley, that I wanna listen to.
I recently finished Daisy Darker. It was incredible!!!
I also have been addicted to the Murdaugh Murders podcast and Cup of Justice podcasts. The ones with Eric Bland are the best.
Last, but not least is the autobiography written by Ron Howard and his brother. It’s called The Brothers. I think you might enjoy it.

So glad you took some time off! We all need down time - that’s what stitching is for me. Your finish is outstanding, just when I didn’t think I needed to buy another backer board you prove to me that I do! Haha. I just loved all your haul, I can’t even tell you how many times I paused your video so I could jump to a website to check out something you bought. 🤪. I just signed up for Audible today - so excited - and haven’t had a chance to pick out or listen to anything yet. Christian mysteries are probably my favorite. I do listen to podcasts also but haven’t landed on anything that I regularly listen to except some Pastors that I follow. 1 😮 3 🎉 4 ❤ 5 🤗. Hugs and blessings on your week! 1,2,3,4,5 I so enjoy watching you when I see you on UA-cam. I usually pick up a paperback at Walmart to keep me in books. I like all the J.D. Robb books ( Death in... books) They are written in the future a little and feature a woman detective who solves murders with the help of her uber rich husband who used to be a criminal but fell in love and now is on the straight-ish and narrow. I don't know if they come in audio or not. There are quite a few so far in the series, so should keep you busy for awhile if you end up getting into them.

I’m a voracious reader - I’ve already read and listened to 20 books this year. And I have a wide range of genres. I’ve usually do a few heavy non-fiction audio books - and am currently listening to Empire of Pain: The Secret History of the Sackler Dynasty. So I have an audio book and kindle book on the go - my kindle book is Less is Lost. I will however recommend my favorite books from this year and last year the Siren of Sussex (audio), Lessons in Chemistry (kindle), If I Stay (kindle), Normal People (audio), A Game of Thrones (audio - I wouldn’t have the patience to read this one), The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue (audio), the Two Lives of Lydia Bird (I can’t remember). My go to novels The Nightingale, The Tattooist of Auschwitz, Cilka’s Journey and The Three Sisters. 1 and 2

Oh Nicole - - you and I have such similar tastes . . . I would love all the same patterns, but I am trying sooooooooooooooo hard to bee good ! Did you catch that "BEE" good ! ! ! You could offer a couple a week each time you do giveaways. They look familiar to me, but I used to stitch back in the 80's and early 90's. I came back in 2019 after watching Fat Quarter Shop Quilt Floss Tubes. So Glad I Did. I usually just listed to the TV when my hubby has it on in the evenings. Fun flosstube episode like always! I love reading but I don´t like listening to audio books so what I do when I stitch is watch some Netflix show. Right now I'm really into The Walking Dead (Yeah, I know, super late to the game but it's so much better when you can find a show that you can just binge! 😂😂😂). If you are looking for book recommendations, I would like to suggest you read The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Safón. He is a Spanish writer but his books have been translated into English and, unlike many translations of books to other languages, it's excellent. It's part of a trilogy so if you like it, you are set for a while! I would love 1 , 2 or 4. Thanks!!

If you like romance, anything by Colleen Hoover is so good! The Silent Patient is very good, that one is sort of a thriller/mystery. The Guest List by Lucy Foly is pretty good too, that is a mystery as well. Oh and The Housemaid was such a twist!!! Not interested in any give aways this week but I’m also a big reader, and those were some of the good ones I’ve read recently 😊

So many details not covered in the case of previous investigations. After this I was hooked. They have some strange stuff too. I try and keep an open mind. This couple is sweet and have great voices to relax too.
I’m making little project bags. I don’t have a pattern yet. Just winging it until I find one I like. You can see photos on my Instagram. Number 1
May Month to Month is really cute. Number 2
Yes,yes, yes number 4 this is so darling!
Such a fabulous video love all of it. Thanks for your time and talent. I will see you tomorrow night for the SAL finish. I posted fabric for my finish on instagram.

Wonderful flosstube, Nichol! I want to buy all the things stitching as the new market releases are so fun! I love it so much just not enough time in the day. I read every day, I guess I should say night when I get in bed. I love all things mystery and now I am reading "A Cat In The Stacks Mystery" by Miranda James. Really fun books and there are many in this series. I think I am on book 9 now. I am a very fast reader so I go through books like they are smoking! LOL!!! 1,2,3,4,5

I just finished a book the other day called Resistance. It is realistic fiction story about a young girl during the Holocaust. I know it seems like a very heavy topic... and you would be right, but I enjoyed reading it to remind myself how screwed up this world can get and that we have a responsibility to stand up for others. It's a very quick listen and I couldn't stop.

I love the covered buttons on your finishes. I need to try that out. I also love listening to audiobooks while doing other things. A few of my more recent favorites: The Memory Keeper of Kyiv by Erin Litteken, Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus, The Four Winds by Kristin Hannah, and The Giver of Stars by Jojo Moses. And then an older series that I really like the audio books for is by Sue Grafton. It’s The Kinsey Millhone Alphabet Series. There are 25 of them. Unfortunately the author died before finishing the one for the letter Z. 4

One before that was Book Lovers which is my favorite so far by Emily Henry, but it was ready by Julia Whelan and I love her. I have a shelf on Goodreads for books read just by her. I mostly borrow from my library via Hoopla and Libby, for those that I can't find I use my Audible, one credit per month. Thanks for sharing all your goodies. 1 2 3 4 5.

You are amazingly organized! I tend to listen to podcasts, flosstube or TV (or nothing) when I stitch. I usually read in the summer which isn’t great. As a teacher I need some quiet when home to recharge. I fall asleep if I read books, because I’m tired. Not enough hours in the day to fit in everything. 1 2 4
