As for my Maynia … since I just returned to stitching this year, I may develop a plan to gather all my haul from past and present, kit them up and then schedule starts for how many ever I have (it’s gonna be scary 😮). I will definitely be including my HOD polar plunge ornaments, Tiny Modernist A Stitchers Garden SAL and an FFO for HOD More Chocolate Bunnies. 1 2 3

Hi Nichol! I most likely will do my own version of Stitch MAYnia...probably some Poshta Designs ornaments! I cannot see well enough to do cross stitching anymore, so that is out, and I do not quilt! However, you started an avalanche for me when you showed your project bag. I made 3 of the ones with the binding on the outside, and 7 of the ones like the one your friend Karen made you! So, I have some gifts ready! Anyway, I enjoy your Flosstube videos as well as your card making videos (which I watch all of, and receive huge inspiration for my own card making!). I won’t be participating in Stitch mania. I used to be a monogamous stitcher and then I participated in one of those mania events and I have been trying to get back to one project ever since. So I will probably be working on 1 or 2 of my WIPs. I have only been watching flosstubes for the last couple of months, and I really enjoy yours. You get me excited about projects and I learn something even though I have been stitching for over 30 years. I wanted to thank you for sharing your Moments in Chalk piece. It looked so familiar and yep! In my stash! But I had no idea it was a part of a bigger project! When I purchased it about a year ago, I only saw the front, didn’t read the back of the pattern and my LNS at the time added the fabric and buttons for the main project. I love the full piece and would have never known about it had I not seen your video this morning (or until I opened the package, LOL) So thank you for all you do. You are such a joy to watch. Love #1

I’m doing my own version of Stitch Maynia. My main goal is to stitch everyday which I don’t normally get to do. Then I’m going to follow Katie the Novel Stitcher’s idea of beginning a new start on each Monday of the month. I’ve identified my new starts that were already kitted up and the rest will be what ever I feel like stitching that day. 1
So enjoyed this Flosstube and Thank You for all the time you spend in the description box. It is SO appreciated by me :). I just subscribed to the Sew Sampler so am looking forward to seeing projects you may do with them. My stitch mania will be a mix of WIPs and new starts but I think I'm going to do 8 projects for 3 days each and then rotate through them for the remaining days unless a new pattern comes along and I want to add that into the mix!
Currently wrapping up my patriotic smalls. For May, I plan to finish up some WIPS & start 3-5 new (have not finalized selections). Love seeing your progress & stitching plans. I appreciate the time it takes to post all the links, thank you!! I like your Shout Out section! My plans for Stitch Maynia is my version of 5 for 5. My 5 days will be Monday through Friday and Saturday and Sunday will be for my Sabboth Stitch which currently is This is the Day. Since I'm also a carmaker, the first week (M-F) will be for card making and FFOs. My second week is for a monochromatic stitch I started in January and I've been neglecting. My third week will be the Little Cottage Needleworks Holiday Hometown, I have 6 and only one started so far. My fourth week will be for 4th of July or patriotic stitching. If this plan works out I may continue it each month, we shall see!! 1. 3.

I currently have 6 WIPs, one of which is a big project for me that has languished for years. I set goals for hours of stitching on each project. Sooo, I am conflicted about Mania. But I also have a ginormous stash of small Mill Hill bead ornaments. So I am thinking that I may start 30 of these - which sadly would be less than half of my Mill Hill collection. My goal for the year is to complete Lady of the Flag. So I am not sure I want to be distracted from my main project. I must make up my mind today - oooooh the pressure !!!! LOL

I've never seen the HOD Square-ology (chalk) pattern, that is going to be gorgeous. I hope to stitch more - hopefully every day in May. WIP's and one new start - HOD Season 2 - A Year of Celebrations Continues. Chose Kimberly's colors, but doing the border and touches of brown around the letters in Trail Dust. 1

If I manage this, I may start something new as well -- I don't have that many WIPS going because I'm just not that kind of a stitcher. My stitch maynia plan is to work up as many smalls as I can...I want to make a bunch of pillows to put into tier trays and my baskets.... I have said for years I wanted to work certain SWH charts and now is my chance :). I want to start the small charts for the chalkful series and then the tier tray tidbit seeds... This will be my first Stitch Maynia. I just ordered a chart for a May stitch which is a bouquet of daisies. I think I will stitch on that every other day until I finish it and then rotate through all my whips every other day. 1 2 3

I've been stitching for two years now and last year when I found out about Maynia-- I thought I would faint! No way could I have a new start everyday, much less have that many WIPs! (No shade to those that can juggle all that!) I couldn't even bring myself to do 12 new starts for 12 by 12 on NYE! One thing I don't like to do though is to fully finish my stitches. So last year for Maynia, I did a finish a day. I had a lot of little pillows for a bowl that I had stitched but never FFO'd. That was my Maynia and it went well. I've been doing larger pieces this year so I do not have so many finishes and not many small pillows to FFO. I have some complex finishes I want to do-- many inspired by YOU. They won't be just a day's work but will take many days to finish. I think I'll do that again this year but I'll make it a finish a week, at least and more if I can. I hope all is well and I enjoy your FlossTube. I'm mulling over the QAL... it will be more for me to juggle... but I WANT to do it.... ;)
Recently found you and have loved your videos. They are now part of my weekend rotation while I am stitching and quilting. I am doing a mix for May. Hoping to finish a piece for my daughter before she visits at the end of the month so that is my big piece and am starting to spend 30 minutes during lunch to work on something. 30 minutes over 5 days adds up and hoping to see some progress on some smalls to frame for some cute decor throughout the house. 1

Love the idea of StitchMaynia I do a Stitching Planner" and what a fun theme to list my plans. Watching floss tube and seeing others plans I've got my plan together There are 5 Mondays in May so I plan to have a new start each monday I like your idea of stitching 4 days on each project. Hope to fill in with some smalls on the other days I'll have my Sunday stitch which gives me the option to stitch that on Saturday as well I also have a morning stitch (1 hour first thing) I have been doing SWTH Mo 2 Mo as my morning stitch and will continue since I'm still on March. I have 5/1 kitted and ready to go, which will also be my Flags on the 4th. I had hoped to work on all the projects in Summer Memories, but it's out of stock and waiting for it to come back so I'll be saving that for June Can't wait for your next SAL missing those lives. I won’t be doing stitch mania this year. But next year I think I will be caught up with my finishes. I finished binding my sons quilt last Saturday and delivered it to him on Sunday. I have two more quilts to sandwich before I can sew anything else. I also have my group of Halloween cards to finish and one scrapbook that I need to have ready for Christmas. I think by the new year I can have more time to focus on cross stitch. I would be lying to myself if I said all my started projects would be done by then. I would be interested in 1, 2 & 3. I am not doing Maynia this year. I did 22 starts last year for Maynia and I am still overwhelmed by how may WIPS I have. I am trying to get that number down and even ditched a couple I had started (small starts) because I really wasn’t interested in them anymore. I have finished some of them though and that makes me happy. I will hopefully finish my This is the Day this month. I think I have been stitching it off and on for a year. I started the Sing a Sampler series last May and there is a stitch along I am joining to get that one done. 3
I am going to do a "mini" Stitch May-nia, which was proposed by @katiethenovelstitcher. I am going to start 5 new projects, each Tuesday in May. I decided to combine it with a 5 by 5 and stitch each new project for 5 days (the last will carry over into June). Sundays I will still do my Sabbath stitch. Currently that is Mercy and Grace but I might finish that before the end of May so I need to decide on what my next Sabbath stitch will be. Mondays I will work on one of my WIPs. I am still deciding on my last 2 new projects. The 3 new projects I have kitted up are Chubby Bunny, Home Is Where the Wreath Is, and Stitching in the Round (colors changed to purples). One might be Float & String (I plan to stitch both together on one piece) but my fabric hasn't arrived yet. 2

2 . I won’t be doing stitch mania, because I have a job that has four busy seasons per year and the lead up to June starts to get pretty busy. I am going to continue to work on the project I’m working on, which is a Christmas ornament, and start some patriotic designs. The Christmas ornament is taking so long because I got a cold in January that extended into March and then I got a really bad case of food poisoning! It’s been an exciting year! 🙄😅

Another great video!! My Maynia plans is to stitch on 10 projects (8 WIP, 2 new). I don’t want to assign the projects, so I wrote those 10 three times on small piece of paper - total of 30. Each day, I’ll pick one from the hat. I’m more of a monogamous stitcher, so will see how that’s going to happen. I failed April’s 4 projects for 5 days. I was stuck on project 2 for the rest of the month 😂 (project 1 was finished). Interested in 1.

I'm using 4 of my Year of Wips for Maynia this year. Every Monday I'll work on one for 5 days. The weekends I'll work on some smalls. Either a wip or new start. I appreciate the time it takes to post all the links, thank you!! I like your Shout Out section! My plans for Stitch Maynia is my version of 5 for 5. My 5 days will be Monday through Friday and Saturday and Sunday will be for my Sabboth Stitch which currently is This is the Day. Since I'm also a carmaker, the first week (M-F) will be for card making and FFOs. My second week is for a monochromatic stitch I started in January and I've been neglecting. My third week will be the Little Cottage Needleworks Holiday Hometown, I have 6 and only one started so far. My fourth week will be for 4th of July or patriotic stitching. If this plan works out I may continue it each month, we shall see!! 1. 3.

I currently have 6 WIPs, one of which is a big project for me that has languished for years. I set goals for hours of stitching on each project. Sooo, I am conflicted about Mania. But I also have a ginormous stash of small Mill Hill bead ornaments. So I am thinking that I may start 30 of these - which sadly would be less than half of my Mill Hill collection. My goal for the year is to complete Lady of the Flag. So I am not sure I want to be distracted from my main project. I must make up my mind today - oooooh the pressure !!!! LOL

Great flosstube! That is so funny with the Big City issue, I also thought and stitched it as SAVE instead of 5 Ave. no, I’m not taking it out and redoing it. I've never seen the HOD Square-ology (chalk) pattern, that is going to be gorgeous. I hope to stitch more - hopefully every day in May. WIP's and one new start - HOD Season 2 - A Year of Celebrations Continues. Chose Kimberly's colors, but doing the border and touches of brown around the letters in Trail Dust. 1

So, thanks for all the links and all the work you do! For May, my goal is to stitch every day, that's still a stretch for me. If I manage this, I may start something new as well -- I don't have that many WIPS going because I'm just not that kind of a stitcher. I've found that I kinda have a mindset and I have to be in it to stitch and switching between projects is a little bit tough for me. I'll look forward to your flossiversary SAL!

My stitch maynia plan is to work up as many smalls as I can...I want to make a bunch of pillows to put into tier trays and my baskets.... I have said for years I wanted to work certain SWH charts and now is my chance :). I want to start the small charts for the chalkful series and then the tier tray tidbit seeds... I have a cute finishing idea, but I need to stitch them first! LOL Thank you for all you do!!! 1

This will be my first Stitch Maynia. I just ordered a chart for a May stitch which is a bouquet of daisies. I think I will stitch on that every other day until I finish it and then rotate through all my whips every other day. 1 2 3

I've been stitching for two years now and last year when I found out about Maynia-- I thought I would faint! No way could I have a new start everyday, much less have that many WIPs! (No shade to those that can juggle all that!) I couldn't even bring myself to do 12 new starts for 12 by 12 on NYE! One thing I don't like to do though is to fully finish my stitches. So last year for Maynia, I did a finish a day. I had a lot of little pillows for a bowl that I had stitched but never FFO'd. That was my Maynia and it went well. I've been doing larger pieces this year so I do not have so many finishes and not many small pillows to FFO. I have some complex finishes I want to do-- many inspired by YOU. They won't be just a day's work but will take many days to finish. I think I'll do that again this year but I'll make it a finish a week, at least and more if I can. I hope all is well and I enjoy your FlossTube. I'm mulling over the QAL... it will be more for me to juggle... but I WANT to do it.... ;)

Recently found you and have loved your videos. They are now part of my weekend rotation while I am stitching and quilting. I am doing a mix for May. Hoping to finish a piece for my daughter before she visits at the end of the month so that is my big piece and am starting to spend 30 minutes during lunch to work on something. 30 minutes over 5 days adds up and hoping to see some progress on some smalls to frame for some cute decor throughout the house. 1

Love the idea of StitchMaynia I do a Stitching Planner" and what a fun theme to list my plans. Watching floss tube and seeing others plans I've got my plan together There are 5 Mondays in May so I plan to have a new start each monday I like your idea of stitching 4 days on each project. Hope to fill in with some smalls on the other days I'll have my Sunday stitch which gives me the option to stitch that on Saturday as well I also have a morning stitch (1 hour first thing) I have been doing SWTH Mo 2 Mo as my morning stitch and will continue since I'm still on March. I have 5/1 kitted and ready to go, which will also be my Flags on the 4th. I had hoped to work on all the projects in Summer Memories, but it's out of stock and waiting for it to come back so I'll be saving that for June Can't wait for your next SAL missing those lives. I won’t be doing stitch mania this year. But next year I think I will be caught up with my finishes. I finished binding my sons quilt last Saturday and delivered it to him on Sunday. I have two more quilts to sandwich before I can sew anything else. I also have my group of Halloween cards to finish and one scrapbook that I need to have ready for Christmas. I think by the new year I can have more time to focus on cross stitch. I would be lying to myself if I said all my started projects would be done by then. I would be interested in 1, 2 & 3. I am not doing Maynia this year. I did 22 starts last year for Maynia and I am still overwhelmed by how may WIPS I have. I am trying to get that number down and even ditched a couple I had started (small starts) because I really wasn’t interested in them anymore. I have finished some of them though and that makes me happy. I will hopefully finish my This is the Day this month. I think I have been stitching it off and on for a year. I started the Sing a Sampler series last May and there is a stitch along I am joining to get that one done. 3

I am going to do a "mini" Stitch May-nia, which was proposed by @katiethenovelstitcher. I am going to start 5 new projects, each Tuesday in May. I decided to combine it with a 5 by 5 and stitch each new project for 5 days (the last will carry over into June). Sundays I will still do my Sabbath stitch. Currently that is Mercy and Grace but I might finish that before the end of May so I need to decide on what my next Sabbath stitch will be. Mondays I will work on one of my WIPs. I am still deciding on my last 2 new projects. The 3 new projects I have kitted up are Chubby Bunny, Home Is Where the Wreath Is, and Stitching in the Round (colors changed to purples). One might be Float & String (I plan to stitch both together on one piece) but my fabric hasn't arrived yet. 2

2 . I won’t be doing stitch mania, because I have a job that has four busy seasons per year and the lead up to June starts to get pretty busy. I am going to continue to work on the project I’m working on, which is a Christmas ornament, and start some patriotic designs. The Christmas ornament is taking so long because I got a cold in January that extended into March and then I got a really bad case of food poisoning! It’s been an exciting year! 🙄😅

Another great video!! My Maynia plans is to stitch on 10 projects (8 WIP, 2 new). I don’t want to assign the projects, so I wrote those 10 three times on small piece of paper - total of 30. Each day, I’ll pick one from the hat. I’m more of a monogamous stitcher, so will see how that’s going to happen. I failed April’s 4 projects for 5 days. I was stuck on project 2 for the rest of the month 😂 (project 1 was finished). Interested in 1.
