Thanks for the video. You shared some ideas that we have not thought of.
That's the great thing about UA-cam and the internet, helping each other learn. :)
Very informative, thank you.
You're welcome. 😀
Good stuff brother. Some great advice. Thanks for the video
Thanks, some of that advice is based on painful lessons. 😂
Very enjoyable thank you. The only suggestion is could you string up your hammock and use it to stow your gear. I noticed your pack, and things are on the ground. Might sound like a no-brainer question but I’m wondering after you ate your delicious dinner how do you clean up your dishes and make sure there’s no odor that would attract animals I know hypothetically the Bears are sleeping. I’m guessing you walked to the lake and cleaned your pot and cutlery or maybe you wiped r pot out with a paper towel and burn the paper towel.
I thought of the gear hammock idea when I was there. I'm used to hanging my pack, jacket, etc., on the hammock straps and when I'd setup I realized I could have brought a small hammock to put all that gear in. My pot I cleaned out with snow, melted it and then scrubbed it out with paper towel and then yes, tossed into the flames.
