I haven't watched yet, but im sure It's probably going to be mostly 1. Dealing with immature/rude people). 2. Dirty bathrooms 3. Mean bosses 4. Hours not being paid/overworked 5. Self injury
I work in a deli, here's my "I don't get paid enough for this" moments (unfortunately I can't leave it now) -still had to work after having panic attacks -left running entire department by myself during massive customer rush(happens a lot) -tried to guilt trip me into staying when I had snot running down my face even though I spend all day touching people's food -any time there's a screaming child/infant in the store
The last fast food job I worked out of anything other than desperation wrote me up for not looking happy while I worked. Sorry for having a bad case of bitch-face and at the time 12 years of undiagnosed Major Depressive Disorder
I worked as a bagger/sweeper/random errand girl for a grocery store while in high school. One day, a customer vomited all over the bathroom. And I don't mean in the toilet. It was on the walls, floor, door, sink. I did not know one body could possibly contain that much. They sent me to clean it up. I nearly vomited myself from the smell alone. I turned around and told them that if they sent me in there, the mess would only be added to. $8.50 an hour was not worth that.
I used to work at Walmart. Never again. I had one customer yell at me because I wouldn’t let her purchase cigarettes at another cash register. I’m sorry, lady, but I’m not about to lose my job over a pack of goddamn cancer sticks
I had many back when I worked in retail, but I haven’t done that in many years. Post-retail, one I would have to say sticks out is right when the pandemic first hit I was in a management meeting where we discussed contingency plans in case any of us got sick and had to miss an extended period of time. When they got to me, the plan was “You’re too valuable. Please don’t get sick or we’re screwed.” I was the lowest paid member of management at the time and continued to be so until I left the company the following year
Worked as a bagger at a grocery store. Occasionally cleaned. My boss told me to clean the bathroom one day because someone destroyed the women's bathroom. I lied and said I was in the middle of getting carts . Everyone refused and the assistant manager had to do it. She was crying afterwards and quit. I'm not doing that for a minimum wage . Would clean a bathroom but not a waste abomination.
What a shame the Boss who demanded everyone be in 8:30 sharp and insisted on a role calk be taken didn't get karma in the form of coming in late and being marked absent! Boss:"OP,why am I marked absent?!" OP:"Because you weren't at your desk at 8:30" Boss:"Oh,that's OK,I was late dropping my Daughter off and got stuck in traffic but I'm here now" OP:"Sorry,Boss, just following your rule.." Boss:"Crap.."
Thought this when I (a security guard) found a thief in a construction area who came out swinging. Lucky for me, those swings were cat punches, and I had overtrained for this sort of thing in my otherwise misspent youth. After I discovered he was one of those 'known to police' types, he was probably used to people backing down when he resorted to violence (medocre as it was).
My moment was, I was in high school and I worked at a fast food restaurant. I worked Fri and Sat nights, so I was closing, as the cashier closing my job was to clean the dining room and bathrooms. While in the mens room I saw the most disgusting thing I'd ever seen in a bathroom. Someone took off their undies and pooped in them then made a rainbow of poop on the wall and threw their undies behind the toilet. I cleaned the rest of the bathroom but I put an "Out of order" sign on that one and locked it. The next day my boss wrote me up and I told him, you don't pay me enough to clean Cr** off a wall with no gloves. We don't have any gloves and the hose is locked up and the night manager doesn't have the key so what did you expect me to do, touch poop? I wrote that on my write up and didn't sign it. He was mad but it's unsafe to touch that, even if I washed my hands after how could someone realistically expect someone else to touch poop with no gloves, it's not like it was my child who's diaper I was changing, this was some strangers poop...hell to the no. I still got raises while working there and made the most out of any chaser because I was a good employee despite this incident.
Trying to nicely explain that, no, they can not get a refund if the issue was their fault. Vomit in carpet Poo Blood Man juice Pee nowhere near the bathroom (more than once) Running from station to station to help customers when the staff is short, hoping I don't trip on a small child running amok, and hoping that no wandering customer tries to ask me for help while I'm racing to Station B because the line there is longer than Station A, but Station A is faster and they'll have to wait longer and now they're even more mad Being forced to be responsible for a pack of hyperactive middle school children Telling teenagers to get down from the 6 ft structure that is NOT intended for climbing Getting flirted with and touched by drunk people
"Do your da*n job"... Can't tell if that was OP's finishing sentence or the youtuber's comment to OP (I'm assuming the latter, but was half playing attention)
As an equestrian I am so angry at the people who poorly treated the horses. One, fly spray is NEEDED!! and two, leaving halters or tack on for too long can cause sores. And don't even get me started on the pasture thing. 😢

I don't think Frank West the journalist gets paid enough for the events of Dead Rising. Very appropriate background.
He's covered wars, you know
Frank West is one of those underrated video game heroes I appreciate. Unlike his disowned cousin Hank East.

For story 18, there is no way that state actually doesn't require lunch break. That boss was a lazy, lying sack of crap.
That story pisses me off. Both at the boss and at the OP. OP had them by the balls. By themselves with those conditions? Could have shut them down
Dumbest lie I've ever heard

That moment for me was when I had to explain to a college student why she couldn't have raw chicken.
