I remember when everyone gathered in the general plains in one main pond and sometimes spread out to another pond next to forest and what is now where the desert is next to the forest
I remember being required to join the group! No one talks about it much but it was because a game called Primordial Lands (now Malgamation's Island) were supposedly stealing ideas when in reality both dev teams had unique ideas that seemed like they were being copied. The group was supposed to make sure that only true fans of COS were able to play. Im glad that drama is over
i remember the previous music, (hearing it again filled me with nostalgia tbh) around the time I started playing was before kendyll was released, yet a little after lure was, I think qurugosk came out around the same time, I can't really remember that well though. A lot has happened in that year of this game being released, and it's kinda clouded the early memories sadly. if I'm being honest, I don't think I've seen a more creative dev studio then this one, and I can't wait to see what comes next.
I remember playing it during beta and even though my old laptop used to make the game lag so badly I still played it. I also thought the game would never get out of beta so when it did I was pretty shocked xD

The best set of when I joined is I came around a bit before lmako was released! I remember seeing the huge lmako bots and wanting to play one lmAo. Love this content! :D

The mystery creatures were the dog (I forgot the name qvq) and the zooku (I believe I spelled it right-). They are available in the ROBUX Gacha. The hiko (hikorshi) has been added!
I joined shortly after beta ended... I remember there being footprints when you walked around, it wasn't so toxic, and soch still had it's old xenomorph-like design as well. I think I also remember you were able to dig as some things then, either that or I'm thinking of one of it's similar copy-cat games today... I miss the old stuff though :(
I miss the intro…The intro made me play Sonaria till now :( cause the intro caught my eyes and thought it was the game I was looking for..I also remember not knowing most of the controls and didn’t know how to age up lol
Fun Fact: The old model for the Sochuri was EXTREMELY similar to models used in another game that was removed. (It was about dragons made by the same devs but I forgot the name of the game! And im pretty sure that game was a test game for the "gripping on walls" feature in COS!)
I remember when beezu and pero was new. And I remember when ppl used to gather around the plains area I think, it was a lake, and it had a big den. Ppl used to gather around there. I also remember when sea creatures were more common than now. Especially during the mid ish-early beta version. I’ve been playing since beta, and it was super interesting, this game was unique and I didn’t know much that were like it… Oof to the ppl who didn’t, it was very fun.
That intro... it should come back, even if it only played once, the first time you joined! It really helps new players to understand what they must do!
in 1 year from now: fun facts about creatures of sonaria! 1. remodels were planned for the old creatures and none are added for unknown reasons 2. ura was gonna have updated animations but never happened 3. vin rou was gonna get replaced by klauaka due to the drama with MI but it never got added for unkown reasons 4. militrua was gonna have ability but never added for unknown reasons 5. there was tundra environment that got removed for no reason
You also forgot to say the map used to be bigger ;-; and god i remember when those islands in the water near the swamp had trees on them.. the game in general just felt more alive in the beta. I remember my favorite place to hang out was the old hot springs, and i also remwmber when the tundra was bigger, and had that nice long cavern.. i remember i also travelled with a small herd there with a lmako, and some other cretures.. god i miss the old map.. and the old music is so nostalgic..

From what I’ve heard about the beta I would lo to play it there! CoS over time and same with its sibling DA, has become very greedy, steals people’s art and doesn’t give credit, and doesn’t listen to anyone unless they’re gonna ban them. But I still play it cause I have nothing else to do and it brought my friends and I together. We hate how the game has turned into this, but we can’t do anything so yeah.

I remember the old sonaria. I joined the game the first day it released in beta and I kept going into the trade world and trying to get ikoran idk if it’s just me but my ikoran could jump like super high
I've played since beta, I remember when kens weren't in the game yet and when the diesura and lure just came out, the map looked much different and better, I would always hang out at the hot springs when there were purple crystals there. I thought the saukuryn looked so majestic and it was my favorite creature. I was also terrifed of magnas and would always run away when I heard one because they would attack my diesura, good times.
I played ever since beta was released, I vaguely remember the old map and one time while I was heading to the central island in the old map and I got attacked by two red and black Hemokais swimming in the ocean as a sochuri and it was super fun and nostalgic

2:42 the sharks still exist! A few days ago i was a ken going to grow up and went into a place where fish spawned and the shark almost instantly killed my baby ken.
It was a nice thing, that i joined the beta testing. Those blue goats were extra funny to kill. Devs also gave all the beta testers free creature for helping with the game. I am not in the official team now, but i still like to play the game.

It would be so nice if they would maybe make the map bigger and add them burrows. I feel like it’s too easy to travel in the game and the biomes are too close together. Plus, the only real first is TINY. It would also be nice if there were mammals too and not just eggs. But yeah a bigger map would be nice.

I really miss the old music, in my opinion it was much better. The music to this current day is okay but I wish there was a setting that you could switch from the new music to old music. It reminds me when I was a ken and I loved to KOS a lot, I still due to this day but I like using sana’ata, gram, or Hygos. I also remember me first playing the game where I just wanted to chill as a hemokai, I don’t like the oasis as much because too many people are their and it’s basically less survival then it was supposed to be. Sure I do roleplays once and a while because of being bored but I don’t wanna KOS and get yelled at like 50 times, I just wish their was a bigger map and more survival stuff. Maybe like during winter some trees loose leaves? Idk I just wish old music was back mostly
