Lucensia is actually really good if you are skilled with it, it's not meant to fight aquatics, it's an anti-flier. Octopus cannot be added to the game because animating multiple legs is very difficult for the animators. Land snakes cannot be added to sonaria, like how you said, but sky snakes like ouratum can be added.
Another Fun Fact you guys probably don't know: Despite Oxytalis being called a "Mouthless" creature in the original concept/reference art and old description I think, they actually have mouths in the game! If you roar and look behind the face/mask of the oxytalis, you will see that behind its head is another mirrored version of its face without the eyes that go backwards/upwards that act like a mouth, it is very hard to see but it is there.

The sides of the Angelic Warden's "halo" is lined with small eyes. and floating above its shoulders are sharp semi-circular decorations with small eyes lining them. i probably missed this in the wiki description but there is an eye a little under the neck (on the chest i think?) and several eyes on the sides of its torso. now the "eye patterns" : Along the Angelic Warden's body, several eye patterns can be seen. The pattern features an open eye with a spiky outline resembling a star. This pattern can be seen floating on the creature's shoulders; its larger pair of wings, where it appears twice; its outer thigh, where it also appears twice; and lining the near tip of its tail, where it also appears twice, presumably on either side of its tail. all counted together there are about 50-60 eyes if you count in all of them do whatever you want with this information but in my headcanon the eyes are real and function just as normal eyes, but it can maybe also see through opras eyes whenever it wants, idk
Snake creature would be impossible, snake as in its body follows the path it slithered. Something about due to the games coding it is impossible And for octo creature, there is a limit to arms iirc 6? Any more would cause severe lag, there’s ways around it like adding tentacles where the tail would be, just rigging and animating that would be hard
So little story time: when i was playng CoS i was an hemokai or what i like to call nokia i was kosing the desert or oasis what og fans call but when i was kosing an angle warden thingy attacked me but hire is the twist I DIDNT DIE i killed an angle warden with hemokai so that i have proof that angle warden is WEAK
Another fact Parahexilian, sturbi and aereis are actually siblings, but para and aereis have an beef with one another not cus of grudge of para for aers arrogance but also para eats aers energy core to stay alive, paras will protect smaller creatures especially sturbi while aereis look down on those as lesser beings, oh Yea sturbi also guides lost souls back to the void

yea i remember about what creatures of sonaria was originaly before it got turned into creatures of sonaria. It was originally suppose to be a dragon fighting game but then got changed XD the sorrchis first designs was suppose to be in dragonaria as some of the first concepts made before it changed
